Hi, I have S-on and stock android 2.3.5. Can i just install some firmaware without doing s-off but with Polish language?

The same sort of 'mistake' that goes to show why I am right when I keep on saying that the restrictions on posting in the Dev forums are nowhere near strict enough, and NOBODY should be able to create a new thread there without it first being approved by the forum moderators.

Just for your information, this forum is for DEVELOPMENT. The first rule of XDA is to SEARCH - this way you avoid asking questions that make you look stupid and lazy, and which annoy the people who actually bothered to read and learn.

have you got a list of safe removal apps that come with the chinese ROM?

For me, the best way, is to flash SMiui.

Anything with chinese characters in its name is safe to remove, though there might be more that's safe but has english name

firmware ?

Hi all, remember seeing posts with a link to all the global oppo firmwares from most countries.
I've searched all forums and can't seem to find the link.
Could some one who knows please post a link

Yeah, the Oppo firmware on their website is not up to date. If you really need it just google "*Country symbol* Oppo Find X2 Pro Update" and it'll pop up. Click here for the UK website if you're lazy
The latest update is A.42 unless you bought your phone from Vodafone then it's lagging behind a bit. Oppo updates are also currently not landing in every country at the same time due to them just launching in Europe and having issues with providers or some bs like that, I dont know. The current method to getting updates faster is to download a VPN software and jump between countries while opening Software Update in settings(I install "Thunder VPN" just to switch and uninstall after it detects an update). Don't forget to disconnect from the crappy VPN after the new update pops up, you don't have to be connected to the VPN to start downloading.
Also some people are having issues updating their phones because they flashed android 11 beta version which was classified to be used on chinese models ONLY and are currently stuck on rollback software until either they send their devices to Oppo to be reset or Android 11 lands in Europe in December.

I used this rom to recover my XS11, everything works, except the touch, do you have any tips to solve this?
