Plugged in a Bluetooth keyboard to get through the lock screen and then swapped it for a mouse. The phone was in phone mode on the TV but could still do everything no problems.

My smartphone took a bit of sea water on the screen, since then the touchscreen stopped working. The phone connects, i can acess the menu, use the physical buttons but the touch isn't working at all. Already opened and tried to see if it had any water inside but doesn't seem to have anything. It's a Meizu MX5, should i buy a new screen or it's possible to recover?
I can connected to charge it, but i had the option "only charge" on android so when i connect to pc i can't acess the phone, is there a way to acess to data? I have a lot of photos i would like to recover! Thank you.

Z5 suddenly decided to stop working.
Phone is PIN + Fingerprint Locked, Touchscreen is not working at all.
Here is what I have tried so far,
1. Attached a USB OTG Mouse, was not able to detect
2. Tried Multiple Reboots, even using the small yellow button besides the sim slot, but fingerprint unlock is not working as PIN is required on reboot, which I can't enter
3. Booted in Safe Mode using volume down key during boot, but still screen wont detect touch
4. Connected to PC, asks to unlock the phone, but cant as touch is dead
5. Removed screen guard
Phone is stock android (No rooting, nothing), has a memory card, removed the 2 SIM's
Phone is not dropped, not wet, not cracked

Solution Found & Worked
Switch off the phone, plug a USB OTG & Mouse Receiver, turn on the phone, you'll see a mouse pointer, that should get you somewhere.
Was able to unlock my phone, remove the passcode, will copy the data once I have it fully charged.

after dropping my phone a few times, didn't realize its any longer waterproof, seawater damaged the screen and I'm unable to unlock it, it requires me to execute my pattern password to unlock it. I need to reset the phone to erase my data and sell it. Good thing I have an OTG somewhere to use. Thank you so much again!
works for me. i almost get frustrated with this phone. i lost hope in using otg since everytime i plug one i need to accept it in usb connectivity. i didnt know you can force it by booting the phone with the otg and mouse or keyboard already in it
Hi... I have an Oneplus 7 which is broken. Screen is all black but i know the device is switching on. I even get calls when sim is inserted. Im badly in need of the data stored in the phone. I have tried the below options but doesn't seem to work. Need some expert advise.
Options i have tried:
1. I have a Galaxy S8 n tried a usb cable transfer using samsung switch but it fails as the oneplus is in Charge only mode when cable is connected.
2. Tried installing ADB n Vizor app. But adb devices is not showing my device n so does Vizor. However, device gets displayed in Device Manager as an MTP Portable device.
Would be really helpful if someone can suggest a solution to change the usb mode in my oneplus which only shows a black screen that can solve my prob. Or any other solution to help me access my data in some form.

You can try doing this and enable file transfer from the drop down menu and cross your fingers.

My friend gave me a phone (Honor Play), to recover photos from it.
It has broken screen and I can see only 3/4 of the screen, but the problem is, that it has ghost touches, so I can't even unlock it.
The phone has locked bootloader, disabled USB debugging and no root. I can only disassembly it.
My idea was to connect monitor or TV through hdmi adapter and disable touch screen from phone, but I don't have the adapter.
Do you have any ideas to recover photos from it?
anyone having this issue? my unit keeps disconnecting while connected in smart tv after it disconnect from tv, it cannot scan my tv. my problem since miui 11 and still my problem in miui12.0.4.
