Hi,
I'm looking for a recent Android TV Box (Android 9 or 10) model that supports screen rotation either via the Settings configuration or using a 3rd party app.
My idea is to be able to play games like Pinball where the screen is rotated.
I'll deeply appreciate any recommendations.
I have a T9 4G/32GB Android 9 (rockchip RK3318) and changing the build.prop file didn't work. (any ideas?)
Thank you in advance.
Luis

Hi, I'm trying to find if there's any software for my android tab that has an explicit option to change/set display mode so that I might be able to play videos on my LCD TV using HDMI cable. The stock player named Vortex has this option but doesn't have the ability to render subtitles. Moreover there's no HDMI setting in my tab that enables me to switch complete display to my TV to play games or view image gallery (please refer this previous question of mine to know details of my agony). I looked up the internet and this forum and the closest thing appeared to what i needed was RealHDMI for Droid X and couldn't find anything similar to fit my need, tried my luck with some of the players like MX but came up empty handed. Details of my tablet are as below:
Name: Penta T-Pad IS703C ( T-Pad IS703C With BSNL)
Manufacturer: Pantel
Android: 4.0.3
Kernel: 3.0.8
Build Number: fj_vortex-userdebug 4.0.3 IML74K eng.zjd1.20120413.113558 test-keys
It would be wonderful to know if such software exists and if so the details of the same. Thanks.
+1
Even I am looking for the same. It is very annoying of Penta to have not provided the feature. At least they could have made the Vortex player open source so that some developer could try to find the driver that Vortex uses and thus could have created a general screen sharing app for sending the entire display to HDMI.
I would like to start off by saying I've looked around for a few hours on the internet trying to find something to help me get an answer to this. I've decided to ask the community to shine some light on this for me. Any answers would be grateful and very appreciated.
I have a Hisense 4K 50 Inch TV I bought it from Walmart. The model number is 50H7GB. I've had the tv over a year and it runs a Linux based os called "Opera TV" The current os lacks the most decent apps and the app store has nothing thrilling at all. I was wondering if it is possible to put Android TV os on this Hisense tv somehow? If it can be done, what steps must I take to do so?
Install apk files hisense 39n2170pw powered by VIDAA
Hi there, I just bought this Hisense tv as a smart Tv, thinking im going to install apk files like iptv, and all the stuff, i failed because i have discovered on the pack ;powered by VIDAA; i saw an app store written N when i got in, its crap. it got a build in browser when you get in , there are only build in search engines, no browser with an address bar. countries location is limited to ARAB countries. when i tried doing some search with my pc, i discovered tv is using Linux portal interface ui. by NETRANGE.COM. so the app store is from netrange. i even tried locating the root folder, nothing which mean i cant download to tv memory. please i need help here, to run android on this tv, or if theres any other way i can get iptv on it, then fine.
Thanks in advance!
I have an Android TV box AKASO T95M which says that it's DLNA enabled. I couldn't find any Miracast app pre-installed in it. I've checked other variant of TV boxes which comes up with an app named "Miracast" pre-installed. Can someone please help with the apk that comes with other boxes (may be a backup of the apk from the box)?
I want to mirror my Windows 10 Laptop screen to my Android TV. I've tried installing other apps available in Play Store but that doesn't work. The TV is not detected by my laptop. Thanks in advance!

Hello all,
EML-L29, Build 9.0.0.197.
Google Home App 2.9.40.16
How to cast to Sony Smart TV? I have it already defined in Google Home Application, but what are the steps for projecting the phone to TV?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
There is a shortcut "Wireless projection" in notification center.
Ofc, you need to be in the same network and your TV has to support Miracast
Solved. The trick was in the TV menus, not in my phone. Thanks for your support!
Hi
I have a P40 pro running on normal HMS. I tried to screen cast it on my Philips TV running on android with inbuild chromecast.
My phone could not find my TV. I have checked all the settings and it is as it should be. It works normal with my old P20 pro (of course on a GMS).
So I couldnot use the "wireless projection" or mirror my screen on my TV.
I have also tried third party apps but they often come with a lot of bugs and bad cast quality.
Interestingly though, in youtube vanced the option of linking to TV works and it could cast as normal. But I want to cast other applications as well through mirroring the screen.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
Thank you in advance
