I have the note9 and the note8. The galaxy charger that comes with the phones (brand-new-chargers) will not charge my phones at all...I'm using the LG fast charger, it's the only charger that will charge and fast charge my two phones.
Try a new cable.
The new charger may be bad...

hey guys, i would like to ask if it is ok to charge my NS using a different charger from an android phone(Galaxy Spica charger)? will this have any effect on the phone, or the battery life?
If Spica's charger is MicroUSB, it's ok since the voltage and current is standardized in the USB spec. It won't have an adverse effect and should work just fine
yeah, its also i micro usb...tnx dude, i just thought that maybe they maybe have different voltage to transfer,
charged with cable my bricked SE phone's charger, but no problem, here.

no,i didnt notice.same as stock charger.
I charge my nexus using a blackberry charger. Ipad charger and Nokia charger. All seems the same to me
My gear 2 only seems to charge on Samsung chargers fast or plugged into a pc. If I use another type of charger, even the 2amp ones, it charges slow and doesn't even indicate that it is charging.

I am wondering if it is meant to be charged fast... The charger that comes with the watch is only a 0.5A one!

Yeah, that is what I thought, I tried some others and am getting the same result. I used my charger for my Galaxy Note 10.1 and it charged just fine.

Even though you found a charger that is fast charging it, I am wondering if maybe it is safer not to do this. The fact that the watch came with a 0.5A charger would suggest it may have issues charging fast (for example, over-heating concerns which may shorten the life of the watch). I could be completely wrong, but the difference to Samsung in cost with a 0.5A or 2A charger is probably pennies...so they must have done this intentionally.
i have an galaxy s6 and i didnt have the adaptive fast charger that comes with box so i buyed one on ebay and even with adaptive fast charge it dosent ffast charge just cable charging whats is the issue the phone or charger my phone is sm g920f what should i do

Fast charge only works with the screen OFF. I have no idea why.
Try connecting the charger and leave the screen off for 5 or 10 seconds and then unlock and pull down the notification menu and it should say fast charging. If not you have another problem.
I have 3 adaptive fast chargers that came with my S6 and note 4. One of them stopped fast charging and by trial and error I swapped out the microusb cable to find one that worked. Not all my microusb cables seem to handle fast charging, and I'm not sure why one that did suddenly stopped, but I would try swapping some cables around to see if you can get it to work.

Haha. Is the charger the original genuine Samsung charger or is it just a generic? The only way you can test this probably is going to a shop and buying the original not cheaping out on eBay.
If you have a genuine charger verify the cable.. it might be it as it did that to me once and i had to replace the cable with another genuine s6 (dont know any generic that surely works)

Try a different cable / charger
When I purchased the phone I came home, pluged the charger which I got, tested in local cafee it charged then I pluged it home and the charger exploded.I thought I damaged the phone.
So I went to local store guy gave me second charger, and with it's cable phone didn't want to charge. We pluged the old cable and it charged.
What is happening?

Mate
You should give all the relevant details in your first post.....
I assume second charger is not original.... if voltage output is not stable enough the kernel lower the charging current until it finds a stable voltage......
Once again , try with a different ( better or original) charger
Do you think current damaged the phone when charger exploded?

I really think the problem is first with the usbc 3.1 cable. Be sure to buy one that is fully usbc 3.1 and from a good brand, then charge it. LG V50 has 5Gbps usbc 3.1 port enabled. The most advanced in smartphone market. Then go for 5v 2a if the cable doesn't fix it.
Don't think that caused any trouble. I charge my phones with different charges convenient available at site. It's only whether I get fast charging or not AFAIS. Samsung fast charger doesn't fast charge my LG V50, but other third party brand does. Please kindly enlighten me if this hurt my battery life badly.
