I would like to put Sense 2.5 on my HTC Imagio. Is it possiable, and if so, how?
So no one has any ideas? I don't understand why any phone running TouchFlo 3D would not be able to be updated to Sense 2.5.
Since the new Sense 3.0 is ported to the Desire HD, I was wondering if the new HTC Sense can be ported to the HTC Wildfire.
I really like the new HTC Sense, so that's why
And if not because of the hardware limitations or what ever ->
Thats never gonna happen. Sorry.
Yeah the screen resolution is far too limited, and the processor is not exactly top of the range. If you are so desperate for it, the only feasible option at the moment is buy a device that supports/cant hack it on to
Check out custom ROM SFMv1.1.
It has ported Salsa ROM to WIldfire with Sense 3.0. Work is still

It's not exactly Sense 3.0. It's only the lockscreen and phone that is ported, everything else is still sense 2.1
would htc bring out an oficial update for desire s to sense 3.5 does anyone know about it???
sorry for my english
No info about it yet. It is said that no HTC phone get two Sense updates, so with Desire S should be similiar story.
The question is - will Desire S get ICS? If yes, there will be for sure some newer Sense. But if adaptation of Sense 3.5 will be to problematical it may be even newer Sens (4.0?).
I bought a Desire S 2 months ago. After S-OFF and Root and using Endymion v3.3 i'm happier than anything with the phone. It took all of 15 mins to do if you follow the instructions.
It's rare to find custom software that blows the stock one out the water but i can't say enough about doing the above.
Nobody knows. What we do know is that HTC is currently still rolling out the sense 3.0 update to the Desire S. So don't expect a sense 3.5 update in the coming months.
It gladdens me to reveal a 'sort-of' official release date for Ice Cream Sandwich on the Sensation & Sensation XE! The following statement was released by HTC on their Facebook* UK page.
HTC has been working hard to get its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades ready, and we’re excited to announce that our first round of ICS upgrades will roll out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE, followed soon thereafter by the HTC Sensation XL.
Obviously the release date isn't going to be the most popular around people, as we were expecting the update to come much quicker. However this may point to HTC releasing Sense 4.0 to the Sensation straight away. Although it would be a strange market move, its after the MWC the just before HTC would probably release it's new phones. This article here talks about HTC's announcement.
The statement on HTC's page continues on to say the following.
In addition, we can confirm Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades will be coming later this year to the HTC EVO 3D, HTC Incredible S, HTC Desire S and HTC Desire HD. Stay tuned for more updates on Ice Cream Sandwich releases in the coming weeks
*It has also been confirmed by HTC US (on Facebook) that the following devices will be getting ICS at some point later this year: The Rezound, Vivid, Amaze 4G and EVO Design 4G. All these phones are in the USA!
Thanks for sharing !
Obviously it is a great news for the owners of "older HTC devices" , like DHD... etc

Today HTC said on Facebook that the ICS update will include "the latest version of Sense". From what I know they are planning to introduce their new flagman phone very soon and it will be using Sense 4. Therefor I really hope our ICS will include Sense 4 as well. I was also expecting the OTA this month but maybe one month delay will proof worth waiting.

Sorry guys, but next time DON'T THINK. Just ask in source...

NO SENSE 4
Well the last leak had Sense 3.6, so I don't think the guy really knows.
Well he's obviously not going to confirm something that hasn't been announced. Sense 3.6 and 4.0 have bot actually been officially announced where as Sense 3.5 has. Sense 3.5 is currently the latest, but of course they wouldn't revert to 3.5 because it would be loads of development gone to waste!

I am sorry to confirm, but the HTC ONE S will not be receiving Android 4.2.2 or Sense 5.
“We can confirm that the HTC One S will not receive further Android OS updates and will remain on the current version of Android and HTC Sense. We realize this news will be met with disappointment by some, but our customers should feel confident that we have designed the HTC One S to be optimized with our amazing camera and audio experiences.” - HTC
I guessing that we will not be receiving a Sense 5 port for the our Sensations :crying:.
