Greetings forum and hello to all.
I recently changed the touchscreen of my Mi4C in a service center and wasn't very happy with the result. I don't think it's the original Xiaomi touchscreen but they claim it is, so I'm wondering what to do next.
Main issue is that the white LED light behind the buttons at the bottom of the touchscreen doesn't work anymore, and they say there is no way to fix this.

My opinion is that they perhaps missed this piece behind the buttons, that probably reflects the LED light somehow:
Does any of you have experience with this part of the phone and can give me a more professional opinion?
Thanks a lot.
Hello,
I bought my first smartphone with AMOLED display and I noticed something weird compared with all my LCD screens. Every time there is gradient dark/grey color (wallpapers, apps backgrounds, ...) the gradient is always "broken" and become just a big and ugly full black area. I checked on all my previous smartphones with LCD and I have never this issue.
See here my pictures, in the "Battery HD" app, all the top display is only a big black box, is it normal? Can someone install this app a tells if it's the same issue on AMOLED please?
Thanks

Hello everyone there is an xz premium that has these two spots I wanted to know if its pressure-related or panel is faulty and if it can kill the panel?
It's not visible in other colors (only on white)
can it be this part of the motherboard? (based on teardown video its very close)

I don't think so There is no problem with other backgrounds plus dead subpixels usually looks black!
one dead subpixel two others are alive
Alright I finally got a good picture of this happening. See the very faint horizontal lines?
This only appears under certain conditions-
Only when I touch the screen and only after I lock/unlock the phone for the first time after a reboot. (It's fine before that first lock/unlock)

Likely related to the refresh rate. That is really hard to see.
they are aware and software update will fix it they "claim"
Until the update switch to FHD resolution. Not experiencing that on my US Unlocked version. But I heard stepping down the resolution helps fix that.
I have just purchased this product and what a disappointment with the screen
To begin with I do not understand why if they use larger screens they have less pixel density, because it is a reality that pixels are noticeable to the naked eye.
It is supposed to be a gaming device and it looks bad, all blurry and with little definition.
But the main problem is that horrible overlapping of green tones, much more noticeable in text with white background, is this its poor quality or is it a defect?
