Technical - Led light behind touchscreen Mi4C - Xiaomi Mi 4

Greetings forum and hello to all.
I recently changed the touchscreen of my Mi4C in a service center and wasn't very happy with the result. I don't think it's the original Xiaomi touchscreen but they claim it is, so I'm wondering what to do next.
Main issue is that the white LED light behind the buttons at the bottom of the touchscreen doesn't work anymore, and they say there is no way to fix this.

My opinion is that they perhaps missed this piece behind the buttons, that probably reflects the LED light somehow:
Does any of you have experience with this part of the phone and can give me a more professional opinion?
Thanks a lot.

Major Display Problem with Fuze

I just bought a fuze from ebay about 3 weeks ago and i love it. this past week i was on a fishing trip and i was tkaing pictures with my phone. I went to take a picture and i found the screen was not lighting up. There was minor drips of water on it and i didnt think it could be anything serious. I know the touch and the rest of the phone is working because i can touch the system and ring tabs when changing volume and it changes but i am blind, i cant see anything on the screen but this strange black and white striped pattern.
Here is one pic:

Location of Proximity Sensor

So, I have just replaced the screen of my OPO, but I am struggeling with a "broken" proximity sensor which always gives back "near" @ 0.0cm. To verify that I did not accidentally covered the sensor, I'd like to know its position.
I am linking the following pictures of the motherboard from iFixit:

Any help regarding troubleshooting is highly appreciated!
Located next to the front camera. So in between the two gaps bottom right of the second picture.
Makes sense.
But in this area we have several things:
LED (red)
Light sensor (blue or green ...?)
So what is the red and one of the blue/green pair?
No idea, but then just make sure none of them are covered...

Custom front/frame pairing

Hi all,
Had to replace my Style's screen and in the process decided I'd switch up the mid-frame too (it was pretty banged up from the knocks and I wanted a white/black combination to match my black accents). I'm pretty pleased with the results!
I'm not 100% about the walnut back with the other combinations (and I've also got a silicon back spare which feels amazing and I can't help but want to try it on!) but it's not yet stuck down permanently again.
Let me know your thoughts - I know people were keen on a black/champagne combo and it was genuinely an easy switch out.

That's a sunlight sensor I believe. Goes in next to the camera.
