Hi guys.
I wiped data, cache, delvik.
I flashed latest stable CM
I flashed Gapps Pico
I booted once
I rebooted into recovery TWRP 2.8.6.0
I then wiped date, cache, delvik again.
I then tried to install SULTAN 5.1.1 ROM
Getting E:Unable to mount /System
Why is this?
Stuck on this screen, waiting for any reply
Thank you!
I think you have to wipe /system too before you flash ROM.
Here are his instructions:
Next, download and flash the latest official CM12.1 snapshot. Then, without rebooting from recovery, wipe /system and flash my ROM. This process is necessary to update various firmwares (including TrustZone), as the updated firmware is needed by my ROM. After flashing my ROM, flash a Google apps package, and then reboot.

Hey guys, this is my first time here, sorry in advance if I say something wrong or anything.
I just unlock my Redmi Note 3 (SD 650 variant) bootloader via the unofficial way (the miflash tool way, without permissions from xiaomi).
It was done, I already checked the oem unlock status via command prompt, and then I was able to flash TWRP via fastboot.
Then I did a complete wipe of my device through TWRP, and flashed Resurrection Remix and GAPPS.
At first I was getting error 7 and error 6 everytime I flashed the rom, but I managed to fix that through some readings.
The problem is that, I always stuck in bootloop (the RR boot screen).
I tried with LineAge OS, because at first I thought it was a ROM issue, and the same thing happened: it stuck in bootloop (the LineAge OS boot screen in this case).
The step I did was :
TWRP 3.1.1-0 ---> Wipe ---> Swipe to Factory Reset ---> Install ROM and Gapps ---> Wipe Dalvik Cache ---> Reboot System
Note: I also tried without the Wipe Dalvik step before rebooting, same result.
Another thing I tried was :
TWRP 3.1.1-0 ---> Wipe ---> Advanced Wipe ---> then I select "Dalvik/ART cache", "System", "Data", and "Cache" ---> Swipe to Wipe ---> Install ROM, Gapps ---> Wipe Dalvik Cache ---> Reboot System
Note: I tried this one without the Wipe Dalvik aslo, same result.
This phone is my daily driver, so can anyone please educate me on what's happening?
(Yes I know it's not good for beginners to do this by himself on his daily driver, but in the past I have rooted and install custom ROM on my Galaxy S3 Mini...that's why I was a bit confident -.- )
Thanks in advance, I hope I get an answer here.

You don't need to flash twrp.zip if you're going to flash custom rom i think... Only the flashing of official oos will restore stock recovery (correct me if i'm wrong)
If you are just flashing the system partition (system.img) then you will not lose twrp. If you are flashing the full official rom, you will lose twrp. On a custom rom you won't lose twrp either.
You will only lose data if unlocking the bootloader or relocking it. Also, if you fastboot flash-all using the fastboot zip on xda you will lose all data too. Obviously if you select wipe data in twrp you lose it there too.
Hello everyone! Need help.
I was testing some Xposed modules and then the system crashed and started no more.
I entered the twrp and made a wipe in all the options that there was to do.
The problem is that now the phone does not start any more, there is no way to get into the recovery or the room. When you turn it on, it goes straight to the recovery qualcoom screen. How should I proceed?
Sounds like you wiped system aswell...
Fastboot twrp should work.
In fastboot twrp flash twrp zip
Reboot to twrp
Flash OOS
Flash twrp
Reboot to twrp
Flash magisk
Should get you booted atleast

Hi Team,
Today i was flashing custom os in oneplus 6 via one youtuber videos
He has selected TWRP wipe menu
Advance -> system , data , Davic/ cache
i did same then he installed the os i also did the same and flash twrp
After doing roboot the system TWRP given me error no os was installed i ignored that message and proceed to next
After system was rebooted im only getting fastboot mode and no other options also im unable to install now any TWRP in my system
can some one help me please
Maybe try format data.
Go to wipe then advance wipe and format data.
If it doesnt work then use msmtool to go back to stock rom and start again.
Don't trust every YT videos you see, NEVER wipe system on op6 or you get this result.
Now you can reinstall TWRP from fastboot and reflash stock OOS twice, if it did not work try to flash stock fastboot firmware
here is a simple solution..
Reboot Recovery
Wipe Data, System, Cache
Flash OOS & TWRP
Reboot into recovery (Ignore No OS Installed Warning)
Flash OOS & TWRP Again
Reboot
Done
if you want to Flash Custom ROM, Here is guide
Reboot Recovery
Wipe Data, System, Cache
Flash OOS & TWRP
Reboot into recovery (Ignore No OS Installed Warning)
Flash OOS & TWRP Again
Reboot into Recovery
Flash Custom ROM & TWRP
Reboot into Recovery
Flash Gapps, Magisk Latest & No-Varity zip is had data decrypted
Reboot
Done
