I didn't do anything special other than update the current magisk manager to the newest app after it prompted me for an upgrade.
Fortunately, I am able to access my files by booting to twrp recovery using adb.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get this working again?

Disclaimer: Searching for this brings up far too many results to be useful.
Just attempted a Root of 3.2 using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1185104
I'd post this there, but don't have access rights.
Anyways, process went well, rebooted, but once the initial splash screen has cleared, this happens:

I've tried using the same tool to restore to stock, but nothing doing at the moment. Help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Annnnnd I've fixed it. This is why I never post. Carry on.
How did you fix it? I ended up bootlooping after flashing the WW HC3.2 boot image. I assume you also flashed the WW version?
Greetz,
speedstra
i had the same thing happening to mine when i first rooted to 1.4 prime. however now ive upgraded the rom to 1.6 and so far no artifacts
I had the same problem. I found it was able to fix it by downloading the latest version of the batch script root method zip file and using it to flash my tablet. You need to MAKE SURE you are using the latest version v5 beta5 because the older version had a problem flashing HC3.2 and gave me that error.

I had actually attempted to flash the 3.1 image instead of the 3.2 image. Thus the reason for edit on the original post.
The latest version of the tool should restore it.

Please stop using the incorrect term for 'brick.' IT IS NOT A BRICK when your device turns on. Just stop, please.
Just had this same issue, got the same screen - blood pressure went through the roof, had to go water the plants to calm down
I was following this procedure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14760983#post14760983
My mistake was not replacing the boot.img in the root folder with the newer 8659 .img file (linked at the top of the post, but not called out in the otherwise very detailed instructions).
HOWEVER: I did have an issue in that after flashing the wrong .img and getting the "oh sh!t" screen, I could not get adb to list a connected device, which kind of threw me. I could get it into APX mode by holding down the vol-up and power keys (and paying close attention to the "usb connected" notification sound - hold them down for about 10 seconds, hear the "disconnected" sound, then almost immediately hear the "connected" sound and let them go. The screen should stay dark instead of going to the boot logo) and I could see the driver being used, but "adb devices" returned nothing.
So I just ran root.bat again, as I had nothing to lose - and BOOM! Success!
Followed the rest of the procedure with no issues. Hope this helps someone!
Cheers

Q&A
Q:SystemUIDs inconsistent on every reboot when using after removing a linked app by Link2SD
A: Download SDmaid App and perform a scan then clean, this will remove Symlinks left by the app and leftovers.
Q: My Moto G4 has a black screen with a blinking light
A:Reflash stock rom (provided by the Moto G4 Owner)
there is also anothere solution that we couldn't try but it has a high success rate ( More like a factory reset from the fastboot)
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata (erases your information)
fastboot reboot
third solution maybe leaving it on charger for some time.
Q:My device shows incorrect Storage information. (the device infected was: infinix hot 4 lite)
A:As provided in the following thread we used DiskUsage app to define the storage, an advise is to retry flashing stock rom::

Nabi 2 Device not being recognized in fastboot mode
We have faced such a problem with the device, drivers got installed correctly after installing PDAnet on both device and phone and connecting it with usb mode active (in the app) the phone got recognized in fastboot

then bumped the device using the thread provided:

then updated to the newest twrp available:https://dl.twrp.me/d855/
then followed the steps here to get a bumped rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-6-0-stock-bumped-marshmallow-v30x-t3570253
How to determine my phone's code name ?
can you pull the /system/build.prop file and check for the information you want
also , it would be good to google your model and look for the code name
PS. Model of the device is different from it's code name.
SuperSU shows "Uninstallation Failed"
flash the UNSU script by osm0sis using twrp / or flashfire incase you don't have a custom recovery...
also it's prefered to restore the stock boot image manaually.

[HELP] Nexus 5 Restoration

Hello XDA Forums,
I have had my nexus 5 (hammerhead) for ages, and it has just been sitting in the cupboard collecting dust as I haven't been able to fix it. I will explain my issue: It will not boot past a screen which displays Google, with an unlocked lock and then shuts down and retries booting again,. It can get into bootloader for a split second before restarting. I also believe it is rooted and in fastboot. Another issue is the fact that my computer will not recognise the device, after holding down the power and volume down it will flash the device "Android" to my device manager and then not be there. I cannot find any help for this certain issue and may even say its unfixable, another point would be that id like to retain the data which is on it because I am trying to see some old memories.
If this is not enough info feel free to ask for more
Ive had it with the battery disconnected plugged into my pc trying to get it recognised, I also have the appropriate drivers
The Screen at boot
The current state of the back
Bump - Help still needed

Nube questions on root access

I am seeking a way to root the Motorola G Power (2021) Boost Mobile/Sprint USA Variant without a PC.
The bootloader options are greyed out with the notice "connect to internet or contact your provider".
I noticed there was a Motorola bootloader unlock page via the official Motorola site. I will try that when I have access to PC.
In the mean time, any other root solutions or suggestions?
(Note) this is an edit the original post broke the rules of XDA on paid service talk, <My Bad> So I revised the OP.
I am not certain if there is a way to change the thread topic, but if there is a way to add a rooting tag to it, that'd be optimal. #Root

Hey there, sorry to be a bother but I had a question that's been in the back of my mind for awhile.
Is there a service one can simply pay for online to get root access on android devices?
I have been an avid researcher in the field of r/w access for around 7 years now and I remember back to the days of framaroot and geohot's towel root. But now, it's hard to find a working service for root access without PC.

No problem at all. If I'd seen something against the rules I'd closed the thread as already stated but all is fine.
And negative, you can't delete or close/lock a thread. This always has to be accomplished by a moderator i.e. simply use the report button to alert the moderator team. Please be aware that threads never get deleted but only closed to avoid HTTP 404 errors after search engines have indexed XDA. Such errors provide a bad user experience that we obviously want to avoid. The only exceptions are spams (where we don't mind 404's) and duplicates; however, latter only immediately after they were created.
Update: I have rooted the Motorola G Power 2021 Boost Mobile USA variant (Model XT2117-4) successfully with Magisk and the tutorial here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-unlocked-bootloader-non-twrp-method.4222583/ thanks to senior member https://forum.xda-developers.com/members/sd_shadow.4267571 for the tutorial. sd_shadow you are awesome! You have a Pro not a Duel. You will need this first, extract it and place all the files within it to /ProgramData/RSA/Download/romfiles/L79031(delete whats currently in this folder first, then move all the files you downloaded into this folder). Now run RSA and and flash the correct firmware for your Legion Pro. Upon boot, make sure to run System Update to the latest firmware available (you will have to do this two or three times).

Hey thank you, but I actually found a CN ZUI 13.5 ROM that I've never found before and flashed it, and it worked. I have Android 12 now, but my cellular still isn't working, and I want a ROM with Google apps by default- one more like the stock android. I assume that's the global version. Trying to go about unlocking my bootloader and flashing the Legion Duels ROM on my Legion pro, I've heard there is a way. Just need to find a good tutorial.
@xXHotBoxXx420 ,
Here is a guide that will work on this device, make sure you read it carefully and backup what it states. I suggest you read this other guide first so you can recover from any mistakes.

Helpful, but I'm wondering if I can do it the other way around; CN to Global rather than Global to CN. I'm sure it probably works the same way, backup partitions and all that. I just figured you had to unlock the bootloader to be able to flash other ROMs but I have flashed the ROW & EE ROMs and ended up with crashdump/bootloop. Didn't realize flashing partitions could fix that. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks
