Thank you for giving me an Idea of how the ROM is. Last ROM I flashed, with the notifications not coming with sound, does this happen on this ROM as well?

Hi, I'm having trouble with my LTE network, it doesn't connect, Is working fine for you?, is there any way to know if it's the rom or my mobile data?

Try disabling "automatically select network" in settings and checking if it finds anything. If it does, click on the one corresponding to your carrier, then click access point names and see if there is any access point already configured. If not, search online to configure it for your carrier and restart phone. At last this should work and if not then it's the ROM.

i had notifications working as usual... the truth is that my bank app doesn't work (my device wasn't rooted) so i had to return to stock rom. the rom has to work in details... has no mayor bug but i can't be without my bank app... it's pretty stable for daily driver but i would name it "alpha build".

Your bank doesn't work because safetynet was tripped. This occurs in any Custom ROM and the only fix is rooting with magisk. Either way is not 100% sure it will work too.
If your LTE works then Däde must have a bad flashed ROM. I would Redownload and reflash the ROM

Thank you so much, that work!

Great rom! I loved it but it have some problems in my device.
1) the sound from the device speakers its too low in comparison to other roms or stock rom (it works well on Bluetooth speakers)
2) I dont know how to disable the charging battery led indicator
3) I think that I have some battery usage issues but I'm testing that.
4) Some apps do not detect mi SD Card.
however I will continue to use the rom for its good performance.

Bluetooth is a bit flaky. The file transfer sometimes stops, doesn't reconnect, the turn on/off button doesn't respond and few minutes later the device reboots by itself. After the reboot, everything is okay.
BETA 2 released
Is it stable, what about the CDMA networks?
It's not for me but for my girl, so if I put this on her device I rather know any issues beforehand. So is the data connection an issue?
Would it also be possible to just have a single boot system?

Attention Verizon users: read How to install carefully before you flash. Sprint users may also try but not sure if the ROM works on the variant.
Please take note that although this ROM is based on CM, you will get a MIUI experience instead of an AOSP one.
This ROM is approved by MIUI officials and hosted by Xiaomi Official Server. Although it is not directly maintained by Xiaomi, you can still treat this as some official ROM.
I recommend the latest Lollipop firmware to get the best of this ROM.
About MIUI

Features
Of course, all MIUI 7 features.
ART support

How to install

Update to the latest Lollipop firmware (Not required but highly recommended).
PhilZ Touch Recovery is recommended. You may also try latest TWRP.
Wipe Data/Cache.
Flash the zip file downloaded.
Verizon users please flash Mod edit link removed before you reboot after you flash the ROM zip file. Sprint users may also try and give me feedback.
Don't report bugs if you fail to follow the exact steps.

Known Issues
Root access IS working. If not, it's your own problem.
SIM card contacts is not working at all.
FAQs
1. Custom kernels?
No. You have to mod the boot.img.
2. Modifications to the ROM?
Please contact me first before you do ANY modifications to the ROM. I will never say no if you ask.
3. ART?
yes!Support ART
4. Why based on CM? Not Sense?
A Sense-based MIUI would require a lot of time and effort to build, and bugs are hard to resolve.

Don't be too excited folks. I used CM source for tate to bring this build (AOSP source isn't working yet). Plus, I had to tweak Slim source a little bit. When AOSP source will be done, I'll bring new build which should perform better. Some glitches occur, but the ROM does the job. And of course, if you found some bug, post about it here.
I will give this a try tomorrow! Thanks!

If you found Bluetooth issues, please, confirm it. If you didn't flash the ROM, confirm it as well. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR "MIGHT BE". Don't forget, that's a test build. AOSP base is needed to make it work 100% properly.

I'm not sure if it is just me, but I was unable to set up the rom. Everything flashed without an error, but when it got to the setup, all I could see was a small portion of the screen about an inch high x 2" wide right in the center. The text inside the window looked like it was the correct size, but I was unable to move it or enter any information for setup. Do I need to change any settings before flashing?

Try to press on power button then press on power button again. Or tap on this small portion of the screen. I've seen it before. Again, that's a test build, but I'm sure it can do the job even with these little glitches.

The second time's a charm! I have it up and running. Still in setup right now, so I'll try to give some feedback in a day or two. :good:
So far so good! I like how it uses less RAM than others, and it's pretty smooth and responsive. I had to get used to the navigation buttons looking like they were showing that they'd been touched all the time , highlighted I guess would be another way of describing it, but everything's working fine so far. I haven't tested Bluetooth yet. Since I don't use Bluetooth or the camera on my Kindle, that's not a priority. Overall this is a pretty smooth build!! I will be running it for a while. ?

Thank you for your feedback. In the future, it will be even better. Bluetooth should work too. It was just a suggestion by some user, who can't even confirm it. Camera works, I've seen it personally. I found the main problem with AOSP building, probably it's easy to solve it, we'll see. And, honestly, I'm surprised it's a pretty smooth build. Perhaps, I didn't wipe internal storage and some odds occurred.
If somebody can help me bring updated version of Slim6 without glitches, please contact me. You just need to download the source, my branches, change a couple of makefiles, nothing extraordinary. My building machine (laptop) is slow, I'm working on bringing other ROMs, so any compiling help deeply appreciates.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
1. Big thanks to @r3t3ch for unloading my laptop
2. The previous build was removed due to there is no point to let it live.
3. New build still has navbar glitches, but now it's definitely less glitchy. (Must be some specific Slim overlay stuff, will be fixed later)
4. 3.0.101+ kernel replaces 3.0.72+ kernel
5. Bootanimation is fixed

Alex32,
Tried dirty flashing this over your latest 6.01 beanstalk,
which I have been using for a while and like a lot.
Wiped only caches, reinstalled gapps, android system
kept crashing upon reboot. Maybe the newer kernel
requires full wipe?(I know instructions say full wipe), but
I have been dirty flashing different mm builds of yours.
Wondering if I can just flash the new kernel from the rom in twrp
or do you think I will run into the same problem with crashing?
Just can't help myself I'm a flashaholic and wanted to try. Thanks

Slimrom isn't based on cm, so of course it's broken if you do that. Even flashing between cm variants without wiping system isn't a great idea.

Understood, I do realize that's a risk I take by flashing. That's why I have a fastboot cable and backups. I have had a lot of success switching between cm13 variants by dirty flashing without issue.
Didnt realize slim wasnt based on cm. Suppose I could try wiping system this time. Thanks

I'm not even sure it will work cleanly without a data wipe as well, though I understand the inconvenience. I usually use tibu to restore just user apps but if you have a lot of apps that can be time consuming as well.
Also to note, with all builds posted by alexander_32, the bootloader has enabled holding volume down to fastboot (vol up still recovery) so it can make entering fastboot mode a little more convenient.

You really should read instructions, descriptions, and follow them
Curious though I was able to upgrade your most recent beanstalk to your final beanstalk with the new kernel. Dirty flashed.

No offense, but you better help me to make a test build for Slim6, than post stuff like this. And I'll make a test build for Omni today.

Apologizes in advance if "alternative" sensors end up broken I hope they won't!
Need more screenshots, anyone
only issue for me is wifi doesn't see my hide network,i registered it but it stays on saved networks page. but it connects perfectly to normal networks
EDIT:File managers do not work properly or not open at all (ex. Xplore)
EDIT 2: How to grant root for adb? There is no option for that in Dev settings
Finally, thank you! I'm really curious about the background app limits in Oreo

When I said 'now' I wanted to say 'later'. During my holidays, I don't know how, I lost my 16 GB SD . I bought a new one on eBay and it may took a month. I will find another sd card tomorrow and see if I cand test it
Now it's time for feedback. (I'll write what's work and what's not, if it's written on first post, I will still write it)
- Buggy camera (can't save video recording and no 1080p recording, I use PMSCameraNextMod and stock camera)
- Bluetooth is buggy but work, especially Settings>Bluetooth (if opened, Bluetooth keep turning on and off) you need a Bluetooth device that request to pair.
I test it with my bluetooth headphone and it's connected and working.
- a bit sluggish on transition and animation
- Files doesn't show internal SD, any downloaded file like apk needs to be "copy to" to external SD with Files in order to open it from Files My mistake, sorry. Thanks @JuniorCaesar
- longer boot time compared to los 14.1. (I counted the boot animation circle, in 14.1 it's around 7-8 round. In 15 it took more than 10 round before lineage os logo show up)
- everything else is working or not used by me.
I was going to test nfc, but it seems that there is no other people's phone being unused.
That's all for now I think :good:

Bad news - they are broken... All of them :'(
But it's bootable and most of the thing works (apart from BT etc.).
I can even login to Snapchat and take picture but only with front camera - cannot switch to back one.
Also - is there something added regarding "low ram" or something like that? Because Chrome browser switched itself to that simple tabs switch (without "3D tabs") and without animations...
But overall, it's super-fast for a ROM in alpha stage

How's the stability and performance? Does encryption work? I've always liked this ROM and I want to install it to extend the life of the phone.

After posting I decided to try the ROM. I've got no problems at all. I've been using for one hour doing the configuration and installing all my apps.
Everything's going perfect so far.

I've been using the rom for about a day and it's been great so far. Performance is great and I haven't had any app crashes. The only problem I have with it is that you don't get free google photos storage (it just says backup complete). I don't know if that's a bug or it's supposed to work like that but free storage was available in the alpha build...

I have also noticed that in some places (like when installing apps from the play store website on PC) the phone is seen as a Google pixel 6 pro witch could be causing the problem if Google photos also thinks it is a pixel 6 because the pixel 6 series doesn't get free storage
Hi. Rom seems great and stable.
But i have found 3 issues..
1. Its seems online as Pixel 6 pro.
2. In camera app there is no settings.

1. Its due to the rom's source patches/works
2. It is there. Please do check well (swipe left/right)
3.Yes. It is a source side error.I check in other app like google lens and stuff and it works . Hopefully it will be fixed in future
Hello and have a nice day
I have two problems with this ROM
1. Using two SIM cards, the antenna of the phone is disturbed and I am constantly losing the antenna
2. The phone is not connected to the computer to transfer the file. I tried with Windows 11
Hey, thank you for this ROM.
Can I dirty flash this as an update to "[ROM][ALPHA][12][Xiaomi Mi A2/jasmine_sprout] Pixel Experience [AOSP]?
edit: Guess not, should have read the "MUST READ"
Have been using this ROM for about 6 hours now. Everything is working like charm (Kudos to everyone associated).
However, sometimes, mobile network gets lost (goes into a loop of going off and coming back...) This gets resolved if we switch off the location. Is it just me facing this issue?
I installed the ROM yesterday and so far it is working great except "4G Calling" which I had to deactivate to be able to make phone calls (incoming audio was heavily garbled while outgoing audio was just noise).
Hey, love your work. can you tell me how the battery performnce is
Hello
I am trying to flash this rom but it is impossible. I have done everything to the letter, the wipes and reboots, and I always remain in bootloop. I have restored 5 times my device to the stock rom and I have done the procedures of different tutorials and nothing.
I also tried adb.
I am using twrp 3.6.0_9-0 because OrangeFox is also in bootloop.
pls help!

I also had problems installing it, try to acceed to the fastboot and boot twrp 3.6 img, wipe everything in the 2 sides and then reboot again to the fastboot, acceed to the twrp 3.6 and install the new version. If this doesn't work, do the same process but instead of install the new version first install the alpha and then the new one.
Hope that helps
