I can't for the life of me download from oneplus' website while connected to my VPN provider. I get a 403 Error generated by CloudFront. And when I try to download it over an open wifi network I get a security certificate error staying that oneplus.oxygenos.net can't prove that they are who they claim to be. Anyone else have this issue or am I the only one unable to securely download OOS without some sort of man in the middle attack apparently?
Have you tried using the oxygen updater app?

Does this update take a long time to download? I have been waiting for quite a while and no indication that it is downloading. No progress on download.
Depends on your network connection, of course - it's ~100MB in size. Probably no more than 10 minutes unless you are running DSL / dial-up.
I looked on VS site and link to update gives 404 error. Heavy traffic cause this error? Not sure exactly how to manually install update.

My attempt hung the first time (sat at 2% or so with no error), I rebooted and tried again. The download took about 5 minutes over cable modem.
Hello

The same problem with me.

Hi,
Ive had a search of this forum for this but it doesnt seem as though anyone else has had this issue.
I have got a Sensation XE which is compeltely stock, S-ON, no root, nothing.
So, i paid for the humble bundle which is a charitible organisation which lets the users pay as much as they like for a few games with most of it going to chairty.
Because they are offering the downloads I have to download APKs from them, through their app which wasnt a problem for the first APK i downloaded.
I came to the others and now I am getting the error: "Parse Error. There is a problem parsing the package".
I then tried to install an APK which I had on my PC which worked fine on my LG Optimus 2X but I get the same error.
I was wondering if anyone else was had encounted this error and knows whats going on?
Thanks
Sedge.
EDIT: I have tried downloading the APKs a number of times either on my phone or on my PC and I still get the same problem.
Hey guys, help me out. I can't connect to my university Wifi because phone requires CA certificate and when I say do not verify it asks for Domain and I don't know what it is so I can't join the wifi network and get wifi Authentation problem if I try typing in something random in Domain section. I never experienced an issue like this before and internet search yields very unpromising results.
https://support.google.com/pixelpho...twork-is-wpa3-and-doesn-t-need-a-domain?hl=en In here it says there is no solution.
Should I restore to MIUI from my TWRP backup. It took hours to get here and this is such a f you moment to me since I can't download all of my missing apps and backups with my mobile data. Please tell me if there is a way to bypass this, I can probably root the phone while I am at it if it is required.
If you have a laptop or PC closeby with WIFI (or another phone) maybe creating an WIFI hotspot helps?

I can actually do that but I need the uni wifi connection eventually. The "feature" is seems to be forced by Google at 12 version. So I will just load 11 plus edition if I can't find a way. BTW my TWRP is completely broken now and always gets stuck at splash screen whatever I do I couldn't get it to open. PE recovery seems to be working fine though so I will just install 11th version from there.
I think the issue seems to be related to this
PSA: Android 11 will no longer let you insecurely connect to enterprise WiFi networks
The Android 11 update will break connecting to certain enterprise WiFi networks. Here's why and what you can do to fix it.

So I think downgrading to Android 11 won't work either, but worth a try
Maybe try asking someone who manages your universities network? (Like a systemadmin?)
(Anyone correct me if I'm wrong I don't know the most about CA certificates)

Yep that is the source of my problem. I never had that issue with the latest MIUI version though. IDK about the system admin. I guess I will open a ticket about it on schools website.

Hi, I have this super-weird issue - my OOS got update to v12 and since then weird things happened:
It started to suddenly and immediately turn off and I couldnt do a thing. I did hard reset and noticed that turning on Gooogle Assistant (or using the mic at all) caused these resets. So I didnt activte Assistant. Unfortunnately, this caused my mic not to work at all.
So i have given up and decided to revert to previous rom - v11. Unfortunately, that is everything but simple:
I have downloaded ROM for EU from here oneplus site and tried both OP local update tool and this weird app named my application2. Both dont seem to work and im not sure why, I checked like 5 different ROM versions and I am kind of stuck. OP Local prompts me that I cannot install lower version of package than currently installed and this other app throws me pop up with this message: "Verification failed". I tried to google it and checked here on forum and I cant find similar thread.
Could anyone help me out with this?
I just went through this. I downgraded from 12L to 11. For some reason some of the roms do not want to be used by the local upgrade app. I used a different one from the one I will direct you to and it said that I couldn't downgrade. I just had to find the right one. Go here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...a-oxygen-os-repo-of-oxygen-os-builds.3930585/
Under "signed flashable zips" in the op, click "click to show content". I don't know which one you need global/India or Europe. I specifically used the global/India OnePlus7ProOxygen_21.P.41_GLO_0410_2112101753.
Use the local upgrade tool app. Downgrading will completely wipe your phone. So, make backups of your backups. If you root your phone, make sure to freeze the System Update app to get rid of the annoying update notification. So happy to have root/twrp back.
Thanks, unfortunately I have rolled back to OOS 11 and it didnt solve a thing - i keep seeing this lightning symbol and phone turns off even on full battery, I cant make phone calls because any use of mic turns off the phone immediately and I have no clue what to do next with it.
