After the new update when I get a notification from whatsapp and want to read it from up top, from the notifications. The text is white on a white background so it is unreadable, is there any way to change it

Use this morph...but only apply the "Mms.apk" sub-component of it.
The MMS icon is set to the green one you describe but the SMS one is yellow. Let me know if you want both to be green. (will copy the icon and make a morph)
Note: theres one sms icon in framework-res.apk too, the yellow one.
update: Heres a new morph that sets the sms icon to the green one. Will need a reboot after applying.
Credit: formel-lms for the icon.

this app/widget is excellent!
however its only limited to gmail, sms, and phone

Can't be done until new m10 tools are released, only the notification bubble in the app drawer can be themed.

In email app there is an issue. when enter a recorded person in address section, it is not seen. backround color and word's color are close.

I put some themes (that found on the Oppo Find X section) manually in the "Themes" folder on the internal memory but no success, they didn't appears on the themes settings in the phone. It looks like there's no official Theme Store like for the previous Oppo Phones.... don't know why they removed it
There was definitely a theme store for the Australian versions of the phone it's called mytap theme store it also has a magazine lock with different wallpapers on the lock screen but since downloading euro firmware that all disappeared which is weird.

It's strange that the Settings background is a nice flat black. Though the notification background is an ugly grey.

Yeah it was just icons and wallpapers. You can't change the notification panel.
It's not that bad though
I'm not sure if this equates to "broken" but after whatever recent update happened (maybe a gig update?), all my notification icons are all the same green blob and they aren't respective to their own app anymore.
I tried to clear the cache partition but no luck fixing. Any ideas how to get those regular icons back? (Image attached)

It's by design. The notifications follow the Material U color if you apply it to Icons.
You wither don't apply the colors to the icons (when setting it via wallpaper and colors) or you apply it and get themed icons everywhere.
