I am new here and this is my 1st post. I have a S20 on ee and i cannot get the ui3 update. Everytime i use the software update i get a message stating my software is up to date but i am still on ui2.1 android 10. I have tried using smart seitch to find update but no luck. I have gone through Samsung and they said your phone was not made for UK market although it was bought on affordable mobiles .co.uk. They advised that it will update at some time. Any help appreciated

Hi all,
I'm from the UK and have the Honor 8, was wondering when I might be receving the Android 7.0/Nougat update?
Reason being, I've bought the phone and don't want to start using it until the update is installed, I liked the look of the Beta ect..
Maybe there is a way to update it manually? My phone is stock btw.

Depending on the variant of the Honor 8 you have, the update should be rolling out shortly. If you're eager to update your phone however, there are various methods available that should allow you to update your phone to Nougat; just do a quick look through of the other subforums for the Honor 8and you'll find your answer.

No I'm running N in FRD-L09 and it works great. It's really stable and EMUI5 is just amazing.

If your device has not been rooted, go to Settings - Software update, check updates via OTA.

It s not rooted it s not problem in software i just cant find right firmware for my device since there is 100000 firmwares ... and they totaly confuse me. And when i check for updates in settings it says i got the latest version allready and right now is 6.0.1 instead of 7.0

I think you should contact the customer service of the device manufacture, samsung, to check when it will push Android 7.0 via OTA. In fact, so many manufactures have pushed Android 8.0 for their customers till now.

I tried to contact they got no idea eider they ve told me to bring phone to check or so but phone s from France and im in Bosnia and Herzegovina that s biggest problem..

I purchased my U11+ from Wondamobile back in 2017 and have never had an update still on the Dec 2017 security patch
I wanted to know if there has been updates but I'm not getting any due to being in the UK ?
I'm in the U.S. and also have an HTC U11+ (HK version) that's still on the Dec 2017 security patch. Curious if anyone's received the Hong Kong Pie update or know when it will be rolled out ?

Android Pie now on HTC U11+ Hong Kong version!
Can't make this up!
Shortly after my previous post, I messaged the HTC Hong Kong on facebook. Thereafter, I received an Android 8 update (May 2018 update) Thereafter, I received the Android Pie update.
I live in Canada. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or if my security software (doubt it) was inhibiting updates.

I'm having trouble getting mine to update the OTA, once the phone reboots it'll hit 24% and then hit me the red ! . Does this mean I have to flash all of stock RUU?

It's like Xmas come early as I haven't seen an update since the Dec 2017 update
It might bring new Life to this old boy.
I was considering the Pixel 4 but then I saw that it had the same specs as my current phone ? (albeit it probably does a lot more on Android 10)
U11+ was ahead of its time ....shame the updates were wack

Xaa/Xaa/vzw I'm outside the states in Lebanon with a local sim card and the phone is still stuck on android 9, no update even if I try on smart switch always says up to date though security patch is November 2019, how can we solve this issue

I have a U model and I've gotten Android 13 and UI5. My wife has a U1 and she is still stuck on Android 12 and UI4.
I sure would like to know for sure if U1 models will ever get it!
It really sucks waiting so long while everyone else is getting that experience.

Must not be too widely available, SamMobile doesn't have it available for download. The most recent firmware they have for the XAA Unlocked model is Android 12 on the November 2022 update.
I just registered just to comment that they just released the update with OneUi 5 after months of waiting for it (confirmed also in SamMobile for XAA)
