Hi everyone. I want to ask you for a help, i was googling around and i couldnt find any kind of update to 7.0.1. for my samsung galaxy s6 edge + sm-g928f - g928fxxu2pbc3

If your device has not been rooted, go to Settings - Software update, check updates via OTA.

It s not rooted it s not problem in software i just cant find right firmware for my device since there is 100000 firmwares ... and they totaly confuse me. And when i check for updates in settings it says i got the latest version allready and right now is 6.0.1 instead of 7.0

I think you should contact the customer service of the device manufacture, samsung, to check when it will push Android 7.0 via OTA. In fact, so many manufactures have pushed Android 8.0 for their customers till now.

I tried to contact they got no idea eider they ve told me to bring phone to check or so but phone s from France and im in Bosnia and Herzegovina that s biggest problem..

hi i bought samsung galaxy tab 2 GT-p3100 yesterday and i installed latest kies...it prompted me a latest update when i clicked update its say in the bottom that device connection is lost and the automatically connects to kies and asks for the update again it goes like a loop pls some help me to sort this

By the way did u checked for ota update available or not?

thanks for your kind reply dude by the way OTA mean OVER THE AIR UPDATE ..im i right?? i tried to update through wifi from phone ...but it told me no software updates is there problem in my phone?? should i take this phone to samsung service centre to claim warranty??? and my baseband version is P1300DDLE1 and built number is IM47K.P1300DDALE1... SO YOU PLS HELP ME SORT THIS ISSUE??? and i jus this P1300DDALE1 belongs to countries belongs to SRI LANKA and NEPAL...im in india and i guess it should come with indian firmware i guess???im i cheated by the samsung dealer who sold this piece me???

no i am too from india and there is no problems with our phones......
Thing is samsung has not released ota updates for all users.wait for some time you will get ota.
But if you are in hurry go to service center and they will flash latest firmware on your tab....thats all...

I am facing the same issue...I have purchased the tab 2 weeks ago and didn't realize till one of my friend bought one, since he was new to this, brought it to me to set it up, while setting it up for the first time, an OTA update notification came, said OK and found the tab got upgraded to 4.0.4, I have tried checking for an OTA update, a message appeared "no update available", tried with Kies, as soon as the tab is connected it showed an update available, when applied it gets disconnected and re-connect with same option as update available....for almost a week it is same..no OTA and not getting updated...
I guess we have to wait for a little more time...
Update on 30th July...Kies updated my device to 4.0.4
Just tried once again like every day with OTA, as usual no update available...tried with Kies with no expectations but surprisingly...the tab started getting the update installed...it took couple of hours but done and no issues found...
I have currently 5.1.1 on my galaxy s6 sm-g920f, i live in europe and the 6.0.1 update does not show up. A friend of mine who also owns a s6 got his 6.0.1 ota update.I tried even connecting it with smart switch but still, no update notification.
Can someone help? I dont want to install it manually i just wanna know how to get it officially.

It's rolled it out in batches to make sure their servers aren't bombarded with tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people trying to update it at once.
And your friend may not have the international version: some other carriers push it out quicker
If you want to do it officially, it's just a matter of patience. I know the feeling of frustration, checking for system updates twice a day, but it'll arrive eventually
Dear All, I have Honor 8 FRD-FL09C636B102 bought it from Malaysia since Oct-2016 , and till now i did not receive any OTA update, and I still stuck on security patch lever 1-July-2016, because as i know it supposed to be regular update at least for the security patch,
if any some can help me to update it to EMUI 5.0 + Nougat Update

Have you tried the firmware finder ?
U will find it in the play store.
There are you tube vids on how to use it.
There are also guides on here for it.
There is also the Charles method.
You should have a good look and read though the threads
Maybe you can try to connect it to computer and use HiSuite to check for the update.
Or you "check update" by using your data plan. (The reason I stated this is due to if I check for the update via my office WiFi, I couldn't receive it due to our IT department is blocked update website)

first i would like to thank you for your reply, and i downloaded the app and i found many updates to my device, but the question here why i did not receive any notifications for this update ? and why i can not find them by normal OTA

Find out what's happening coz i should have had your update by now
I'm also from Malaysia and I didn't get the notification for the update. I had to check for updates using the hicare app.
On April 27th, it was released the latest security patch in Spain. This firmware can be found in Sammobile.
This update (A750FNXXU1BSD6) is not the same as in Russia (A750FNPUU1BSD2). The changelog only says that it brings security improvements, and I haven't found anything new.

That's very complicated. You should try to install SmartSwitch app from Samsung. I havent had recieved any OTA too. But when I connect to the SmartSwitch you can easily update your phone if any update available. I got the second pie update today in SmartSwitch. If you use SmartSwitch and no update will be there, then you can go into the manual update. Im from Slovakia too BTW
It was updated last night, and the pie is terrible. Changing my device. Farewell friends ?

Are you talking about Samsung Smart switch mobile app? But that is an app to transfer files. Please let me know to update my device.

I mean this app https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch you need to download to PC and also to mobilephone. When you connect the phone with PC , then launch the app in PC. This will automatically check for new updates. You can also do the update

I think there is no update for my phone, after connecting my mobile, there was no intimation to update even though I kept the device idle for 30 minutes.

Please go to Settings--> About the phone (down)--> Info about software, then do the printscreen and upload the picture here.
Or give me the software version carrier (it´s something like SAOMC_SM-A750FN_???_???_...etc)
I will try to help you to find if any update is available for you.

It seems that there is no PIE for you. You probably have XME Malaysia version of firmware.

Can I flash any other countries firmware. for ex: Thailand firmware
I only know that it's possible with ODIN, but I can't tell you more about this,because I don't have any experience with flashing with ODIN.

I noticed only improvments in camera. Exactly: before this update, scene optimizer didn´t work in my case. After this latest update, Scene optimizer works okay.
I had my phone sourced from the US, just to make sure I got the snapdragon variant ,I live in nigeria ,I don't know if the region change is causing the slow update or if I'll end up getting it at all ,please any help regarding what I can do will be appreciated

Please check software update notes before posting.
One UI 5 has not yet been released for that model, so is there no "slow update" happening. You are already updated to the newest current version. When a new update is released, I'm sure you'll get it

When I said "please check notes", checking does not mean posting here in the thread every single day. It means use Google or other means to find the information on the internet yourself.
The update will likely not be released until next year
