Question Display issue in low brightness - Samsung Galaxy S21+

I noticed an issue with the display at night time when the brightness is set to < 20%. There is discoloration and it's very noticeable on dark gray backgrounds. It won't show on black backgrounds. This is what it looks like:

This is a solid dark gray background. It was hard to take the photo. I used a galaxy s9+ on night mode.
Anybody else notice this? Or is mine just defective? I haven't found much information about this aside from a similar issue on the s20 line:
Galaxy S20 Ultra’s latest issue is an annoying green tint on the display

Does it happen in safe mode?
Try a hard reboot (not reset)
Clear system cache.
Clear associated wallpaper apks caches including themes and Samsung Experience. Clear their data if that doesn't work.
Factory reset especially if you did any firmware updates. Do any firmware updates before you do a factory reset.
If that doesn't get it, return it. Too much money for this much trouble out of the box. Do it before the return time is up!

Hardware flaw. The S20 Line (and Oneplus 8) was plagued by it. I had 6 different S20+ and every device had it. It's especially notable when you enable 120hz

I temporary fixing my S9+ green screen issue by uninstalling the NFC module.
Unfortunately, this option make us cant charging the phone.

Can anyone help me fix the built in camera app. I stupidly installed the latest Samsung camera app from apk mirror and now it doesn't open.
Thanks

Edit: Fixed by reflashing the ROM I'm using.
Restore the device to factory settings and your done!
Before that make back up anything you need!
Hi all - need answer from older members, googled a bit before no information regardless to my question what i want to know is it problem or not. Is it due f1.9 apertature or no ? Changing 4.3 - 16:9 modes , nothing changes, same effect. I can see it only in close range - 30cm range, like in these photos. Model is international unlocked, 920 android 7 BTU feb22 . Found this only now, by doing macro shots on the table ( have phone for 5 months, under warranty - thats why wanna to hear answers is it a problem, give them to fix it or no, its ok )
I'm receiving this "fish eye effect's" , very small amount of it, near corners - I marked RED or Black color with a line the real position of object in real life and what I get wia phone when I take a picture in 16mp mode or any other mode.

s10e screen ghost letters RGB

I got my S10e last month and noticed a weird problem/issue with it. The screen has ghost letters all over the screen that are only visible on a grayish screen. I use black wallpapers and keep brightness on the lower side so didn't notice it earlier. See pics to understand what I'm talking about. I used to have a S9+ before and didn't have this problem. I was wondering if this is something only on my device and I should get it replaced or is it on all/most devices out there. If you've a S10e or other variants can you please confirm if you have this issue.
Thanks
PS sorry for the weird link (remove spaces). xda cdn is not working and being a new user I can't add links

not common issue as far as I know - sounds like an issue with your device - try to get it replaced due to defect
Try to invert colors maybe to see if it fixes, probly wont but all I can think of
Too soon to have screen burn issue. I've note 3 and s6 over 4 years but still didn't have this issue.

This is not even burn in by my use. I never had any wallpaper or anything with those letters, seems like an issue/burn-in from the factory. Will need to get it replaced
Get it repaired under warranty. If you're in the USA, the "uBreakiFix" stores are Samsung authorized repairers.
Or just get a new unit since it's so new.
Seems its new unit then better send for replacement.

Half black Screen + Responsive Display ---- Error Source unknown

Hey!
I could need some help to narrow down the possible error sources and thus conclude if I should try to repair my phone or not.
Ath the end of the post is short video of the actual state (YouTube-Link).
Some quick details:
- no submersion in water
- no visible fall damage (always was in a Spigen Tough Armor Case, but I dropped it from time to time)
- no cracks on the screen itself, always used a screenprotector
- the problem developed gradually over the last 2 weeks: Only the lower half of the phone was affected, horizontal lines of different brightness appeared (also some flickering). This would disappear from time to time, sometimes linked to the manually changing of the screenbrightness
- now the lower half is completly black, but still responsive. Even that disappeared 2-3 times, but now it seems to be stuck in that mode
- additonally if you're out of the lockscreen the upper half goes black as well
- complete display is responsive
- USB-Debugging should be enabled
Things I've tried and didn't help: 1. Wiping of the Cache 2. Factory Reset 3. Safe Mode 4. Some suggested options mentioned in articles
What I am trying to figure out: Software or Hardware problem (Right now it seems like it must be Hardware) and which Hardware is affected and needs to be replaced.
Any help would be appreciated, but I know that no one has psychic abilities to look at/in my phone from a distance. So thanks anyway!
The video:
The screenprotector is adjusted (cut) to fit the frontcamera. No damage concerning the phone

Question White border under the font

Not that I can see...
I have the same problem... I could probably live with it, but it's a bit irritating. Going to try a ROM and see if that fixes the problem, otherwise it's probably a display issue

Can't image this having to be done. If the location doesn't change and its always visible then it would be the display especially if it was still there on reboot or during the advanced menus on boot. The ROM shouldn't cause a line though. Each app gets drawn to the screen fully.
It is possible though to have an overlay app like the Samsung side bar causing it though. That one can be disabled in settings. Since those draw on top of everything and so could do the same thing but only while the OS is in use. This should be the only way for it to not be the display.

Yeah, the pixel ROM didn't change anything. It looks better in dark mode, just going to have to live with it.

Question Lenovo / Xaioxin Pad P11 Pro TB-J706F color mode keeps resetting

Hi, I have a P11 Pro TB-J706F model as per the subject title. It is running this global version firmware:
TB-J706F_S630447_221007_ROW
I am having issue with keeping the color mode set to DCI-P3 instead of Super AMOLED when restarting the tablet. I like the auto power off/on the tablet, but the color mode keeps resetting on restart back to Super AMOLED. What can be done about this?
no one having this issue?
My P11 Pro update today to version TB-J706F_S630447_221007_ROW.
I tested it here, changed it to DCI-P3 and restarted, I see the color setting mode return and it's DCI-P3 OK.
But, I leave it on all the time (I never turn it off), you can do that too.
Unfortunately, I don't have any help, unless: have you thought about cleaning the caches after the update, there in recover mode (if it is more indicated of course)?
I changed mine to DCI-P3 then did a restart and the setting stayed. I am on TB-J706F_S630447_221007_ROW.

but was it truly DCI-P3? Like my setting stays on it, but the color is actually AMOLED. If you toggle between DCI-P3 and AMOLED after a restart, it is actually AMOLED for me.
Well here's how it went...
Settings/Display/Color Mode
Changed from Amoled wide color gamut TO DCI-P3.
Reboot also did shut down and start up, and it's still on DCI-P3
