Gesture navigation lag on lava iris 89 after flashing gapps. - General Questions and Answers

Hi everyone, so i have flashed a bunch of andriod 10 gsi Roms-all of them great by the way. I'm currently on ressurection remix 8.6.5 and I have noticed that as soon as I flash gapps on my Lava device , the gestures navigation lags tremendously and its unusable. Previously before I flashed gapps the gestures lag wasn't that bad, it is noticeable especially when closing the camera app but it was usable. Please is there anyway to get navigation gestures to work smoothly for my device?

Most stable Nougat ROM

Can someone please quickly tell me their favourite/most stable Nougat ROMs for Moto G, I've been out of touch from the forums for a bit.
Thanks.
My favorite was [ROM][7.0.0_r19]AOSP+OMS/Substratum for Moto G![14th NOV]. But it has not been updated for quite a while now. My new favorite is [ROM][Falcon][7.1.1_r4][Nougat]Slim7 - UNOFFICIAL. No unwanted bs and super stable.
I'm a AOSP lover. my first fvrt krexus MM. 2nd fvrt is IDcrisis 6.
edit: sorry, I didn't noticed op asked about nougat.
Slim 7 OR AOSPExtended
Hi all Nougat user there,
Want to switch Nougat, I need suggestion.
currently um on Krexus MM, that's rock stable and extremely battery friendly. with xposed greenify I get over 7+ hour SOT with music playing, 3g connection and chat app.
I need ur recommendation for Nougat if there better rom. which u recommend?
*no need lot of feature just need stable daily driver.
*AOSP preferable.
*no need frequent update, just need stability, lagg free after nonstop many day uses.
* I've dual sim version falcon xt1033.
thanks in advance.

Vanir or viperOS
did a rehash on all latest builds from respective noughat ROMs. very impressed with;
AOSP based;
pure-nexus very small footprint, has all the essential features
dirty-unicorns has all the features, still small footprint, latest october sec. patches
Lineage based;
i would vote lineageOS best, not bloated (like of old) at all still being actively developed. (vanir from the looks of it is almost identical to lineage)
Viper has again has most features.

After installing AOSP Extended.. I never have to think to cange the rom.... so my best is AOSP extended.

CM 13 for gionee F103PRO.... Sweet. Here's my take on it.
The rom is quite smooth and responsive. Feels light and fast. Boots up in no time. A few bugs lurk about the rom though.....
The lockscreen doesn't come on after a notification. (or maybe I dint set it right)
The navigation hard keys don't vibrate even if it's set to vibrate.
Sometimes the data indicator on the network icon disappears when it's on.
And Google+ seems not to install or compatible with this rom.
Volte(obviously)
Everything else works fine. I installed Xposed on the rom and it's a breeze. The rom will be good for daily usage even with the bugs, only time will tell.
Looking forward to the fixes for the bugs.
Thanks to Amit Kumar for porting this smooth rom. :good:

fix fingerprint sensor stops working after installing Resurrection remix on redmi 4

someone pls help me fix fingerprint sensor, which stopped working after installing Resurrection remix (naugat) on redmi 4 (global variant)
there,s no problem with the sensor on the other roms(mi stock rom.. i have checked it).
it worked on RR after flashing, but the whole fingerprint setting disappeared as soon as i restarted my phone
i flashed the rom a couple of times, but the situation is still same
i also tried flashing some goodfixes, but they didnt work
someone pls fix this issue !!!
Different custom roms have different problems... I think this rom not support for fingerprint function.. Before install custom rom read the rom description carefully... the rom developer note all problems in rom description... The goodway to get back your fingerprint sensor is install the stock rom again...
Sent from my SHV-E210S using Tapatalk
I have the same issue...I would love any fix...please anyone?
I got the same problem too of fingerprint sensor after installing RR rom version 5.8.2 running nougat 7.1.2 on Moto E4 plus Xt1770 mtk variant. After surfing YouTube, i came to know that RR does supports fingerprint authentication but in my devices it ain't supporting. Please help me out.

Nice work pal.
Working more "fluently" than previous MM port.. The new Pixel launcher is awesome!
- Settings App randomly crashed few times
- Just one Beep-tone to use with default alarm clock.. (downloaded Oreo alarm tones and copied to the alarms/ringtones folder)
- Baseband version - uknown is normal?
Thank you for the effort and time you put in, tremendous work!!!
Found one bug: the security settings keep crashing the app. Otherwise great work!
I want to try it out.. But I am having Lenovo a7600 F version.(mt8121 or mtk6582 I don't know) .. Does it work perfectly.. Or will it brick my device because I don't know how to recover or anything. I just know flashing rom...and the device is already running cm 13 with twrp recovery

A7600-F should be MT6582.. Mine is performing way better with Lineage OS 14, than with the CM 13..
Just backup your data, install/update TWRP-3.1.0-0 recovery, go to advanced wipe and select Dalvik/ART Cache, Data, Cache and System.
Install ROM and straight away Gapps, wipe Dalvik/Cache and hit reboot.
It's working perfect.. But the issue is with speaker and also I entered twrp on lineage os 14, but storage was encrypted so I had to flash stock rom

Thanks, so far only the 7.1 roms that say they are for 3.4.67 kit kat are able to be ported like the ones you posted from romclaims. I've been working on Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 port and it has less bugs than this Lineage OS 14.1 however its really laggy. So ill try the new DOT OS you linked to that was posted yesterday and report back.

Can this model run android oreo..anyhow I am inspired by saberShip and want to port any rom to try myself.. I am new to this thing.. Tell me anyone is it easy or difficult
Thanks for your good work. I have flashed the rom, but when the tablet is off and I connect the charger, it switch on and load lineage. Then if I disconnect the charger, it switch off suddenly, is it normal?
(If I start the tablet and when lineage is loaded I connect the charger, it charges normally, and if I disconnect the charger, the tablet continues on)
New 7.1.2 ROM
Hello all, I've ported a new 7.1.2 Rom for the A7600-F.
It has OMS Substratum theme support, runs smoothly, is much more stable, has working GPS, and working FM-Radio!
Check It Out and let me know how it works for you!

Thank you so much.. I will definitely try it. .. But could you try any other roms like resurrection remix or rom with android 8.0.. Anyway thanks a lot again
any ports of LOS 17.1 or even 16.1 for this 7600F? even 15.1 port would be alot better for stability and battery life

Trying the ROMs

I have tried a number of the Kiev ROMs. Probably you have too.
- Official Lineage OS 19.1 08202022 build (Android 12): Tried several of the GAPPS with this build. After flashing the Lineage ROM, had to reboot into recovery and mount system to get GAPPS to actually load. Moto camera seems stable Google Play not certified. Did not see advanced reboot options. GAPPS 12.1 from Flame GAPPS and Mind the GAPP did not work particularly well.
- Havoc 4.19 (Android 11): Moto camera crashes when using video or macro photos. Has lot of customizations. But would rather be on Android 12.
- Havoc 5.7 (Android 12): Moto camera crashes when using video or macro photos. Google Play certified! Certified Google Play is a big win for this ROM. Like the Pixel features. Few customizations but the build is solid except for the camera.
In short, It would be great to see the Havoc 5.7 build as the way forward for Kiev. @SyberHexen , Havoc 5.7 is a great base for Kiev and it would be great to see this as the main ROM.
All, what ROMs are you using and what are your experiences?
