Is there way I can fix my TWRP? When I have the passcode and biometrics and boot to TWRP i can't find my internal storage. BUT when I remove my passcode/biometrics and boot to TWRP, I can now see my internal storage and can flash anything

i have my rom on my external sd so that when I wipe data on my internal it wont erase it, but when I go to apply zip from sd card it give no option for external. Only when I go inside the internal I see the obvious folder for external sd, but theres no files. I dont want to transfer my rom to internal and then it disappear when I wipe system and data before I flash the rom.
oh yeah....v2.5.1.3 cmw

you will need the zip file to install your rom on the internal sd, it will not install from the ext sd....when you do a wipe of data it will not erase your int sd, believe me I have a ton of files on my inter sd, with lots of zip files of roms that I have install.
so what you have to do if you have already wiped and you are sitting on the red CWM...is plug the usb cable to your phone from pc, after you are in cwm go to mounts usb storage...hit that, you should see it the inter sd pop in your windows explorer, copy your rom to install over to your phone, then do your wipes it will not take the files away from your inter sd...then install your rom...
the only way to errase all the information from the INTERNAL SD, is going into CWM, advanced options, erase or delete all the information with the options on there
i just booted into stock GB and did a factory reset with a format usb. After it restarted, i put the rom on my internal. I wanted my internal to be wiped clean before i installed. You just dont know the crap left behind from old roms.
I think it's because of CWM is not mapped correctly. Correct me if am wrong.
How to get access to internal or ext storage from TWRP? Can't boot into ROM.
Need to flash some files but they are on my windows 8.1 machine and need to transfer across to fix the tablet.
i was on twrp 2.8.7.0 and installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...w-rom-t3258489. then formatted my sd card as internal storage. today i wanted to update to the latest build of kushan rom, but in twrp my sd card was listed as 0 mb and i couldnt enter it. so i decided to flash latest cwm trough rom manager. after flashing cwm my internal sdcard was wiped(not by me-automaticly) and now marshmellow tells me that te sd card is not supportet...please format.....
i think that as the cwm wiped my sd card "the unique? encrpytion key?" got lost and therefor i cant axcess the sd card. im i right?
if yes i hope the encryption key is not unique and i can recover the files on the sd card
i think u can't acces it without the decript key .thats the purpose of a key .
Hi Guys,
I discovered the tablet problem. For some reason he only accepted gapps 5.1.
OK
Gapps error 20, solved,
now has another error going on, the 70
It says there is no space to install the gapps 5.1
When I put it in the twrp method, it appears on my windows GTN8000> Internal Storage and External storage
Internal does not have access. In the properties, it says the folder is empty, but I can not access anything.
The external is the micro sd
When I enter twrp, in the file manager session, sd storage has 2 zips, lineage and gapps.
So you mean somehow, it still has sd internal memory, right?
What to do ?, Do you have any ideas?
After an OTA update to Android 11 I'm unable to access any of the files on the sd card. The sdcard had been added as phone storage by running "sm partition disk:179,32 private" on the previous version of android. The files show in a file manager, but cannot be opened. The phone was not wiped during the upgrade so strange that the sdcard is messed up now.
The encryption key used by Android for the Adoptable Storage is stored - this will surprise no one - in Android's default internal storage.
When you upgraded Android this internal storage memory got overriden, so also the encryption key.
IMO there is no chance to decrypt the SD-card, make the files in question readable again.

It was an ota though, so not a factory reset. Other otas have been fine in the past as well. All the apps that were on internal storage are still there too so don't think internal storage was wiped?
