Hello everyone!
Today I did a very stupid thing on my S10.
I found an AT&T sim card on my house because my parent bought an iPhone 12 pro max on a trip to the USA and the phone had this AT&T sim card. I inserted it asked me to restart my phone and now I have every app of AT&T and my mobile data button is not located on the notification panel anymore. Is there any option to bring back my old phone? I don't even live in America.
What have I tried so far:
Factory Reset the phone
Master Factory Reset
Flash With ODIN and Samsung Tool Pro tool
When I flash it finishes successfully but when turning on Installing System Update Fails. And takes me to recover mode when I reboot it shows the AT&T logo during boot and it's the same.
Can you help me?
Thank You in advance

Have you inserted another SIM card now?
I would try to flash a complete stock firmware for your region, which is unbranded. Use Odin on PC and a USB cable.
Should work as long as your bootloader is unlocked and you can not into download mode.
If you flash a new CSC, your data will be wiped. Don't use Home_CSC, as you want to get rid of the AT&T bloatware.

So after i rooted my phone everything was working fine but then a message saying "unauthorized changes have been made to phone restart to undo changes" i accidentally clicked restart and once the phone got to the metro screen it froze there.
I've tried using the recovery.tar on Odin but nothing changes i even factory restored/wiped cache multiple times so can anyone help me out/tell me what i'm doing wrong?
If you want to recover from any type of error. Simply restore using the original firmware from this device. (An almost identical thing happened to me last night, but thankfully i was able to recovery thanks to the support from this forum and also being able to download the stock firmware.)

Ive had this proble, you just have to be patient, it will boot after the logo its loading files in the background
I had the same problem. But no matter how long I waited it would never get past the metro pcs logo. I had to go into recovery and erase and format. I was then able to get into android but I now have to wait 72 hours for google to unlock the phone. Part of the new security feature of lollipop. Once I get in I will disable the feature.
Hi all,
Long-time lurker - used info here ages ago to mod a tablet, but right now I'm working on my fiancee's phone, which is an unrooted Galaxy S7.
Yesterday, her phone took a complete **** out of nowhere. It spontaneously rebooted, said it was applying an update, and then the Android dude fell over with an exclamation mark next to him. She had just finished recording some audio that she *really* wants to get back (a press conference she got into at Comic Con).
The message now on the phone is:
Phone storage corrupt
The data partition has been corrupted. You need to reset your phone to factory default settings. This will erase all your data.
I've tried to connect to Windows and I can't get at the device - I have no way to change whatever connection mode it's going into by default. I've also tried getting into the phone through ADB, but the device isn't recognized.
I could really use some advice here
Anyone?
Thanks,
-Jeff

Reboot into recovery/download mode and see if you can access adb. If not flash stock firmware in Odin (Not csc, as that will wipe data)
If flashing stock works, I would flash stock again after you get the data you want (including csc the second time)
Sent from my SM-G935U using XDA Labs
Eek. The data header gets marked as corrupt when this message appears. Chances are it will reappear after reflashing and because Samsung encryption is proprietary it will be hell to recover. If Craz's suggestion fails you may need to chalk this one up as a loss
Hi,
I have Samsung Galaxy S7 G930FD, it's unlocked & unbranded, it received a OTA update last week(G930FXXU1DQJ8) and it was done downloading it asked for a reboot, I rebooted it, blue installing updates screen came then it rebooted again, samsung logo and then it asked me for my pin, after which it got stuck at the unlocking padlock screen, the phone had the secure startup function enabled so I always got that screen however it would go away in less than a minute, I took all suggestions I found from the internet including this XDA thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-s7-edge/help/stuck-encryption-lock-screen-wont-boot-t3600663 including waiting for it too start(24 hours), without sd card & sim, with and without safe mode, wiped cache from recovery nothing works , I had nothing modified it was full stock/unrooted(never used odin on it or any sort of rooting method)
I don't want to wipe/reset via recovery as I need the data, can access recovery & download mode, please advise!

Flash the same stock ROM over the top using HOME_CSC and instead of CSC, nothing will get wiped and it should fix whatever is broken (If it is a firmware problem)
Again:
CSC = Wipe
HOME_CSC = No Wipe
Flash all 4 parts with ODIN 3.12.3 or newer

Thanks for responding, I actually just did that day before yesterday as well, unfortunately no luck, do you think it would make any difference if the sd card and sim was also installed as I had removed both(some apps had been moved to the sd card but past experience with it would complete the boot without sd card never the other way around), also prior to restart I recall seeing about 700MB free in the phone, if that makes any difference, is there anyway I could access internal memory via recovery or something as I do know the pin, and the phone rejects incorrect pins and only proceeds when the correct pin is entered.

Hello, my wifes stock S21+ crashed and rebooted. It now boots up, accepts SIM card pin code but UI crashes to black screen and reloads when you enter the pattern to unlock the phone. Phone is still locked and it asks for the pattern again. I can't activate developer mode/USB debugging because of this. I can call the phone and answer the call so the phone works, it just doesn't want to unlock.
Is there any way to get the data out? We do have backups but unfortunately yesterdays sons christmas event didn't get yet uploaded to the cloud. The phone has warranty but support said they will wipe the phone. I don't care about keeping phone under warranty, all I want is yesterdays data.
Safe mode has the same problem. I already tried flashing current and older stock firmware with Odin but same problem persists. Is there any other thing I could try?
