Shadow PC on Tab A7?! - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Themes, Apps, and Mods

Is there anyone on here who uses Shadow PC and also owns a Tab A7?
So I mainly bought the A7 for all things streaming. Video of course but also cloud gaming. And most of the options run flawless on it with my gigabit internet and 5g wifi at home. Talking about cloud gaming, I have Stadia, Geforce NOW as well as Shadow. Stadia and GFN work flawlessly on the A7. And since Stadia was one of the main reasons for me buying it, so far so good. But I also use shadow PC, and that one is practically unusable on the A7. And it has nothing to do with my internet speed! I also use shadow on my PC, on my Galaxy S9 and even on my old ass sony xperia tablet. None has any problem. Only on the A7, shadow is just choppy as hell.
So I´m wondering, anybody on here who happens to own the A7 as well as shadow?

Looking to buy an Android tablet

Hi there!
I'm currently in the hunt for an Android Honeycomb 3.1/3.2 tablet. and i'm choosing between Samsung's new Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (which has the Mali 400MP GPU) and the Sony Tablet S (with its own Geforce by Nvidia Tegra 2.) both has a dual core processor although Samsung has the new Exynos 1.2GHz processor.
Based on the initial tech specs i've seen online the Samsung has a supposedly mind-altering 20 hours battery life while Sony has only 6 hours max. advertised.
But, does a processor speed or the graphics card always determines a device's overall performance, responsiveness & battery life? ( i'll be mainly surfing the net, watch Youtube videos, facebook, twitter, viewing .pdf or .doc files, odd photos & uploading them, listening to music, playing games, using DLNA to watch movies to my TV)
I'm trying to aim for anything below 10" screen size, with an SD/microSD card slot, dual speakers and GBP400 max budget.
Thank you.
id go with prime, thinnest, lighest, and 4 core. toshiba is coming out with some nice ones but not sure about specs. between the 2 you've said it depends on you preferances/requirements. one is 7 inch and one is 10 inch. one has a big ass bunp and a ir blaster, the other doesn't, it seems like your not sure what your looking for
I'm looking for something at least 7" and not more than 10". i thought a 10" one is big (because of the things i'll be mostly be doing with it) so anything in-between is almost perfect.
I've got some choices in mind. two of them not officially released yet in the UK namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the Tab 7.7. on the other hand the iPad 2 vs the Sony Tablet S.
My problem with the iPad 2 are several. namely the inability to send any files via bluetooth, lack of SD/microSD card support, a single mono speaker, a lacklustre front-facing & rear-facing camera amongst others.
My problem with Sony Tablet S are tiny/not-so-loud speakers, lack of Playstation games (even after roughly 4 months of being released and has a PS-certification why not enough games are coming out???) and that's it.
I want to weigh and balance all of them but...i don't know which to choose?
All of them are within my bidget but shall i wait for the iPad 3? shall i invest on the Exynos-powered Galaxy Tabs or jump in to the all-entertainment, all-dancing Sony tablet?
I want to buy something before the last week of march so i can bring it with me during my holiday.
please help....

What ist better for Windows RT Tegra3 with Geforce or Qualcomm S4Plus with Adreno 225

Hello at all,
i have a problem.
at the moment i have a "Surface RT" from Microsoft, but the Game-Performance is not as good as on equals Android-Tablets (like Nexus7)...
Many Games on Tegra3 are stuttering (like Jetpack Joyride etc.)
Question:
Wich CPU/GPU Combination ist better
(Tegra3 CPU with Geforce ULP GPU like Surface RT, Asus VivoTab)
or (Qualcomm S4 Plus CPU with Adreno 225 GPU like Samsung Ativ Rt, Dell XPS 10)
http://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/tablets-pcs
Very Thanks for your informations...
Im not sure about which one is the better setup. However to fix your stuttering for now, try useing another input device rather than touch for your games. I use my touch cover for jet pack and my 360 controller for the other games I have.
Not sure why but a lot of games seem to stutter when you touch the screen , now this can be fixed as shown by hydro thunder developers in there latest patch.

very thanks for your information, but i have only the surface 32gb without touchcover...
questions:
1. how do you connect your wireless xbox360 controller with surface rt?
2. do you know any games with no stuttering, without "hydro thunder"?
3. do you know any other games who push the power from tegra3 like "hydro thunder"?
At the moment i play the free game "Baller", very great, but also stuttering...
very thanks...
hi mate you will need the wireless pc receiver to sync the xbox controller wireless, however I just use a wired one. Games with controller are far better mate when supported, they even have rumble feed back. Both angry birds have been fixed not to lag on touch.
If you really enjoy jet pack mate why noT just plug in a usb keyboard or mouse works the same.
Soulcraft is a great game not tegra optimized though.
I can confirm that the game you are playing called baller has no stutter with touch cover but stutters on touch input.
it's all going to come down to optimization for the chipset, the tegra3 and adreno 225 are similar, but the tegra3 has the edge, but in real world, without something being optimized for the specific chipset, you're not going to see a huge difference.
now the s4 pro, with the new adreno is beast. i really wish the surface came with that vs tegra

Optimization in most of cases is just a marketing trick.
Tegra 3 is really weak, even in comparison with MSM8960. Also Adreno 320 is up to 3 times faster than 225, so make conculisons.
If you want a nice cheap game to showcase the tegra chip in the surface search sprinkle in the marketplace. Great game with some great physics and good graphics.
is sprinkle on win8 now?

[Q] How do I stream with a 680m with Optimus? Is Splashtop the answer?

I just got my shield yesterday. I have a good gaming laptop
Clevo 9150
I7 3720qm
680m with Optimus
16 ddr3 ram
I know Optimus screws up my streaming the shield way, but what about Splashtop? I have a net gear n900 dual band router. I have killer n wireless card in my laptop.
How would I do this?

I managed to get splashtop streaming great when game is in windowed mode. I am using splash top and I think I will try splash top thd!
I also can't get the controller to work.
Splashtop is not working same way as Nvidia Grid, the Kelper GPUs are actually capable of GPU passthrough, which means it brings physical GPU to cloud and h264 is on hardware level, while Splashtop just virtualizes it.

RetroAndroid or RetroPi?

I want to get my wife an NES/SNES/Sega/N64 emulator for Christmas but I am having trouble deciding what rout to take.
I was thinking of an Android tablet (specifically the Yoga Tab 3 for its battery life). The tablet would be portable and could do other things when not playing games. But, I have other concerns about that. Will it support split screen? Will it support multiple controllers/players? If I use Chromecast to get the games to the TV, is there a lag between what happens and what we see?
My other idea was a RetroPi (based on Raspberry Pi 2) It looks good and has a great interface, but I’m not sure about the performance. Will it handle, say, Mario Kart 64 on split screen? Can it have more than 1 wireless controller (using an Xbox dongle or Bluetooth, nothing wired), is it stable? (my ODROID keeps crashing)
Which platform would give me the best performance for N64 games? The Raspberry Pi 2 (900mhz Cortex-A7 and 1 gig of RAM), or a Yoga Tab 3 (1.1ghz Qualcomm APQ8009 with 1 gig of RAM)? What should I look for when judging hardware specifications for this purpose? RAM? CPU speed? Graphics processing?
Finally, if I am looking in the wrong place, please direct me to the proper place for these questions.
Thank you,
Anyone? If I need to post this somewhere else please let me know

Asus Zenpad s 8.0 vs Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 - travel/movies

Hi Guys,
I am in the market for an android tablet, I am mostly rounded down to an 8" model (though not 100% on this) . Looking at the Asus Zenpad s 8.0 or the Galaxy S2 8.0
My primary uses will be watching movies on the plane (I travel a lot) and using the Hema Explorer GPS tracking and navigation app for offroad driving. ANd some games, but not a key purpose.
My movies/tv will be a mix of Google Play store rentals, Netflix, stan and the Virgin Entertainment system.
My current phone is a Xperia Z3 compact, I like having a compact phone so don't want to upgrade. I have run the Hema app on my phone, it lagged a bit when recording tracks. So performance of the tablet is pretty important to me. My main concerns with above tablets is the aspect ratio and watching movies.
So ;
What would you recommend that is on the current market (US or AU)?
In real world how much screen do i actually lose with the 4:3 aspect ratio watching movies
I really don't want to spend over $500, buying from the US should make this possible.
I have considered iPad as well, but i am in the Android ecosystem so unless there is some great reason why it would suit me better i just don't see the point.
TIA
Ty
