Works for me, other than infrequent hard hangs requiring a battery pull.
Build notes:
At least some of the build has to be online, as curl is used to pull down a prebuilt.
The prerequisite package openssl-dev is not in Mint 18.1, but appears to be replaced by libgnutls-dev. The following should install all of the required packages, except repo.
apt-get install bc bison build-essential curl flex g++-multilib gcc-multilib git gnupg gperf imagemagick lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline6-dev lib32z1-dev libesd0-dev liblz4-tool libncurses5-dev libsdl1.2-dev libwxgtk3.0-dev libxml2 libxml2-utils lzop libgnutls-dev pngcrush rsync schedtool squashfs-tools xsltproc zip zlib1g-dev openjdk-8-jdk

any major issues?
I get occasional hangs requiring a battery-pull, but not often. It looks like I'm finally going to get a build to succeed (I needed to already have a build installed to be able to extract required files, catch-22. If I end up with something better than the official build, I'll look into posting it.
Other than the infrequent hang, it's better than the final CM build.
good find, I will keep tabs on this as I find that OctOS ( teamoctos.com/oct-n-weekly-lineageos-base/ ) to be very reliable as a daily rom for me.
Oct is based on lineage 14.1 and the maintainer is very good about testing builds prior to their weekly release. of course now that the d850 is on the official lineage build list it also must have a maintainer. is that you cash?
OctOS looks quite interesting.
I'm not the Lineage D850 maintainer. I'm still trying to get a build to succeed. I eventually discovered I need an active net connection to get the build past prebuilts/Gello as it uses curl to pull it down mid-build, which is odd.

I'm looking for a rom with minimal costumization like lineage. Which recommend?
Octos is ready to run out of the box
This is great news. I bought a new LG G3 phone recently and was glad to see development on this neat hardware. Instructions about rooting and TWRP was hard do find as there have so many updates and LG has not been kind!
For those in my situation:
1. One click root and Autorec helped me root and TWRP.
2. Updated TWRP flashing the image within TWRP.
3. Was on Stock 5.0.1
My question:
Can I directly flash Lineage OS over AOSPA 5.1.1? Will there be issues with basebands/kernels/boot images?
The phone flies with a custom AOSP ROM. Don't know why LG wants to make it useless with their clunky skin.

You have to flash new modem first, 21C. You can find it here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BweOW5tN4s5NNjhhdV94SHNudWs
After that you are free to flash 7.1.1 roms. Enjoy!

Great. Thank you so much .... Will that be Resurrection Remix? I will be upgrading to a Nougat ROM soon ?. Best case scenario will be an unrooted ROM where I can run those apps that hate custom ROMS and cause compliance check exceptions.
is the 21C modem the newest that came on the 6.0 update from at&t? I had to downgrade from 6.0 to 5.1 or 4.4 I forget so how can I see which modem I have installed?
I am running Lineage on my Nexus 7. Daily driver, no problems. Currently running Fulmics on my D850 and I am happy with that. But we'll see, may need to give Lineage a try.

Anyone running the official Lineage as a daily-driver yet? If it's at least mostly stable, thinking it's time to finally dump the old CM12.1 build I've been running for almost 2 years and step up to 14.1.
Yes I am

Hi guys!
Proud owner of a OnePlus 7t pro McLaren. Is there any way to root this device? And or is it possible to use roms kernels etc. From your version or one of the other versions?

This is not the 7T forum, go here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t
Looks like @mauronofrio has been busy already though :
TWRP Build : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-recovery-t3976961
Also :
Pre-rooted boot images : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t/how-to/rooted-10-0-5-magisk-patched-boot-t4002427
I don't have a 7T but I would presume the rooting process would be the same as previous models, this video may be the best place to start :
Custom roms will most likely take a little longer though as they did with our model, devs need to poke about in the official sources released by OnePlus first to ensure different features of the phone will work with their roms. I would suggest taking notice of the first post of any custom rom thread because the developer will state what does and does not work, use this information to decide whether you would want to flash the rom.
Magisk will be your best bet to root your phone after you have TWRP installed :
Magisk : https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
If you have issues rooting with the latest official you can, instead look to the canary builds :
Magisk (Canary) : https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/dev-magisk-canary-channel-bleeding-edge-t3839337
As for your other question : " is it possible to use roms kernels etc. From your version or one of the other versions?"
NO! DO NOT USE BUILDS WHICH DO NOT SPECIFICALLY SAY THEY ARE FOR YOUR DEVICE, IF YOU DO SO YOU CAN END UP BRICKING YOUR DEVICE

hi guys, can anyone tell me the advantages of using the current blu_spark kernel on my oneplus 7 please? And also, the difference from blu_spark twrp, official one and the unofficial unified one?
The main question is: what are the real features that a normal user may notice using @eng.stk kernel, and the same for his twrp?

The kernel features are listed here https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...vice-development/kernel-t3944179/post79819892
Kernel features are most likely for advanced users. So if you don't know them or don't care, you don't need a custom kernel.
You'll find some explanations all over the internet linke here https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/ref-to-date-guide-cpu-governors-o-t3048957
Unofficial twrp just means it's not official linked at twrp.me, it's like a personal build that's shared.

I saw that the miui eu (zip extension) for Poco x3 pro came out, so what makes me think that there is also the twrp, where can I find it? thanks

Why wouldn't it be able to be unlocked? oh I guess you meant if anyone had already gotten past the unlock timer...
I'm about to try and unlock mine (or I guess start the timer before actually unlocking it) but I'm waiting for it to update everything first.
EDIT: I got the 1 week timer.

Glad you finally understood what I meant, lol... I currently own both the One Plus 7T and Xiaomi Pocophone F1 which both required a timed bootloader unlock process: Poco's was 3 days and the 7T's was 1 full week. I was hoping that the bootloader could be unlocked automatically w/o having to wait, but oh well, I guess it's a necessary evil.
Just got mine! (6,128)
I immediately tried to unlock the bootloader, just after getting it. heh
Got 168h
Got 168 too. I should have tried to unlock immediately. But i did it after my work and wasted 18 hours
Looks like some TWRP showed up for our device under that link I posted earlier

So with

also available it seems in a week (after unlock 168h) I might be able to clean flash?
Can @Camerado possibly explain in what state of development the TWRP version is?

This is build by thespartann, i know because im in the group that he released it in.. but its still untested because no boot loader unlocked as of yet.. so use with caution
You can simply boot it rather than flash it
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Make sure you unplug the USB cable from the phone as soon as it's done uploading the file to the device. The timing is very important. You'll understand what I mean in a little bit less than a week

Yeah this is one of the main things holding me back on considering this ROM - not a great user experience for us OnePlus 9 users who don't have wireless charging...
AFAIK it can only be fixed by the dev but not even sure its a known issue - doesn't really get much attention when it's mentioned (neither here nor on telegram).
