Is there an app out there that would allow custom notifications for SMS\phone\gmail for users of google voice? There are several that work outside of google voice, but not so much with it.
Only app I found that mostly worked was Whoisit lite. Lite version works fine, except any new email cause it to stop responding & force close. Tried the pro version & got my refund. It didn't crash on email notification, but initially it would only play the default sound, not the custom, then it wouldn't allow anything to play when an email arrived. (The dev on this app has disappeared, so contacting him to fix it isn't going to work.)
I like having all my stuff in one easy to access location, that syncs everything with my voice account, so not using google voice isn't really a consideration.
Ideas or suggested apps?
I recently purchased the Moto G 4G LTE and have been having a blast with it. It was simple to unlock the bootloader, add TWRP, and root the device. It was also simple to unbloat the device since it did not have much bloatware on to begin with. Over all I am really pleased with my purchase.
I did change out the SMS app because the original was very bland. However, the email app was driving me crazy. So I spent a better part of the day looking at the available free email apps to see which one I would prefer over the stock app. I was totally disappointed when I found that all the apps I tried did not work well with GMail. Each app would fetch the test mail from GMail and then delete the mail preventing me for using Outlook to download the mail to my PC. No matter what I tried, the app would either delete or "mark as read" and my Outlook could not retrieve it.
It seems the only email app that worked in keeping the GMail intact was the stock email app on the phone. But I don't like it because it does not tell me if it is sync'ing with the server and downloading or not. So I have no way of knowing except if an email is download it will give me a notification. It won't even give me the last sync timestamp.
Anyone using an email app that works with GMail (retrieve but leave unaltered), AND, you can also download the email with Outlook?
What's wrong with using the actual Gmail app and syncing on your Outlook?
There's going to be a combination of Gmail POP3 settings and mail client settings that will determine if a message is deleted from the server or not upon retrieval.
I use the free version of Maildroid, it works great with what I use, being Outlook, MSN, and Gmail. Puts everything into one place.
I don't understand why, but the OEM email does not affect the mail on GMail. When I access the mail and download it to my phone, I can then access the same email from Outlook on my PC and download the same mail. But using other applications like K-10 and Aquamail, when I download the mail to my phone I cannot access with Outlook on my PC. So the other mail programs must be doing something that the OEM email app is not doing. Strange. I have also tried some different settings in GMail to no avail.
I cannot comment about the apps that you have mentioned, but providing the app that you choose uses IMAP then the various email clients should maintain synchronization with each other. @Darkshado mentioned POP3. I used to have problems with Hotmail using POP3, but since they implemented IMAP the problems have disappeared. I can confirm that Maildroid works correctly, you can choose in settings whether or not to delete messages off the server.
Thanks for the tip on Maildroid. That works for me. Much appreciated.
Glad to help. I just wish that is was cheaper, but I hardly notice the ad's at the bottom anymore
I am surprised the other apps that you tried have problems, I was thinking that you had made a mistake in the configuration or something. We learn..... Cheers.

I have added AdBlock and the ads are gone. The other mail programs had all the same options but did not do what I wanted. Very frustrating because I liked their aesthetics. But like you said, live and learn...
I use K9. It's open source and has pretty advanced settings to manage synchronization and server actions. It takes some to to configure, but that can be an advantage...
K-9 was another one I tested that did not work for me. Appreciate the response though. Some of these mail programs look really nice. K-9 was one of them, I just wish it would not molest the mail so I can download it later into my Outlook mail for archiving.
Hi, Can you tell me which Adblock is the best one to use. I find quite a few on play store.

I have used Adblock Plus for the longest on my Firefox browser PC and Tablet. So I went with what I know best, AdbLock Plus ver 1.2.1. On my free apps I see absolutely no ads. Wonderful.
Thanks for the pointer. Apparently it's banned from the Play Store, no wonder that I didn't find it. I did try another one called Adblock which is on Play Store and it seemed to do nothing at all. Anyway, I have been using the one that you suggested for about a week now, and you are correct, no ads anywhere. No wonder Google doesn't allow it! Thank's..
What are the possible replacements for google services?
Aptoide/Yalp store as replacement for play store?
If it works, I guess installing youtube, maps, etc. from either store should work? Or not?
Or we can find alternative apps thatbwork like youtube, gmaps, etc. anyway
How about retrieving contacts saved in google account? Can i retrieve them using browser logged in my google account? How to import into phone?
Users of Apps/games that require google login like pubg should use alternative logins now. Will it work?
What are the all the requirements for degooglefied phone like nubia x?
Hi,
I'm using one phone like that, until some solution for the google services is found.
It's a bit uncomfortable, but it's working. In anther one post I have uploaded a picture how it looks like.
Here is the answers of your questions:

YouTube app generally working, but closes when cant find the google services. Anyway I'm watching the videos from the browser.
Maps - you can install Chrome and then pin it to the home screen. Works like charm.
You can install Mesanger, WatsApp, Viber, Skype - they work.

With PUBG I had some issues installing it because except the apk has obb, may be I'll try later when I have some time. Fortnite is working like charm. Even with the back screen two additional buttons is like a cheat.
Things which I could not solve until now:
- Outlook cant import o365 mail hosted by GoDaddy.
- It seems that, a lot of applications rely on google services for the push notifications. If the app (let say Viber) is not running, you may not have popup notification on the lock screen. (If anyone knows how to solve that I'll be happy)
So, that's all. At the end you can live with the phone. I'm happy with it.
I hope that answers your question. If you have other questions - let me know

How about updating/syncing contacts? I mean after retrieving them and i added a new contact entry. How do i update/sync that contact into google?
And for photos? Do i have to manually backup to pc or cloud since there's no google photos and no google drive?
Any other concerns i might have forgotten?
Edit:
Link to this thread you mentioned?
I used aptoide - the only google apps that seems to work is Google Chrome Browser and gmaps. youtube did not work through aptoide as didn't all the other google apps i tried. I placed a youtube home page using the chrome broswer on the desktop. Whatsapp apk i downloaded from their official website and installed working fine. When I downloaded whatsapp through aptoide and the chinese market app it won't work and keeps saying date and time is not right even though it is - maybe because its not chinese date and time?
For Contacts i opened my pc with chrome broswer and downloaded the contacts VCARD which you can do and placed in root folder of Nubia X - picked all my contacts up - I'm not sure how to sync though to google accounts as you cant add a google account through the phone unless you root as per other posts.
Pretty silly how they just didn't let you install gapps without root - i buy a lot of chinese phones and its the standard now even if google isnt preinstalled - its been a long time since I've seen a phone that doesn't let you install gapps yourself if you want too even though they dont support it. I'm finding it hard to use the phone and it will probably end up in a drawer for a few months until the international rom is released with google. Its annoying, even switching the phone off the voice assistant starts in Chinese and i want to get rid of this.
I've deleted practically all the bloatware, yet can't get music player to detect music i placed in the music folder.
Should have done my reading before hand but oh well... I got it for less than £495 from geekbuying 128gb version but should have waited out for the international rom version
Most of my good apps I downloaded through the Amazon App Store which is also working so I have 3 markets on my phone at the moment.
It’s no secret that Huawei’s latest flagship phones does not support Google Apps. At launch, there was a way to sideload the GMS and Google Play Services, but that was quickly taken down. That leaves us in a weird place. We have this flagship Android phone but a limited app store, the Huawei AppGallery, and no Google apps or services.
We wouldn’t really know this we use require GMS to download or to use. That doesn’t mean there aren’t work-arounds for Google’s own services or some other apps. Below are some of the 10 most popular apps and services and how we managed to get them working on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro without GMS or Google services installed.
Watch the Video Here
APK Pure
Since we don’t have Google apps, that means no Google Play Store. Going around and searching for each new app update and apk as they are released is annoying to say the least. APK Pure is an app store that essentially replaces the Google Play Store. It’s a better service to use than downloading APKs directly because it supports installing split APKs. This means apps like Spotify can be installed through APK Pure even if you can’t sideload the APK normally. It will even handle installing updates!
To install APK Pure, all you need to do is sideload the APK Pure app. Once installed, you can search for and install any apps you please. It makes for a very good replacement to the Google Play Store.
You can install APK Pure pretty easily
Download the APK linked below
Install it.
Enjoy your new App Store.
APK Pure
Telegram
Telegram is one of the apps that doesn’t require GMS at all. You can sideload it and use it normally. The only downside of not having GMS installed is the lack of location services. Many apps, including Telegram, require GMS for finding and sharing your location in an app. Telegram, being one of those apps, won’t have access to your location without GMS. This isn’t a huge deal as every other feature works perfectly. To install this app, you can install it through APK Pure or download it through APK Mirror and install the APK yourself.
Installing Telegram is actually really simple.
Open APK Pure
Search for “Telegram”
Select Telegram and hit “Install”
Enjoy your honestly amazing messaging client
Telegram on APK Pure
Gmail
Gmail is a bit of a special case. For Gmail, there is no app that will work. Other email apps like Outlook work, but Gmail doesn’t. That doesn’t stop the web version from working. You can easily just go to the Gmail website and have full access to Gmail and your email. It isn’t as great as the app, but in a situation like this, it’s the best you can get and it’s good enough for the basics.
Gmail Website
Skype
Skype is one of the older and most loved chat platforms. I’ve had it for years and it’s easy to use and honestly just great. Luckily, not having Google isn’t going to stop you from being able to speak to your friends and family on Skype. Everything in the app works perfectly fine without the need for GMS.
To install Skype, it’s simple, just use APK Pure.
Open APK Pure
Search for “Skype”
Select Skype and click “Install”
Enjoy Skyping your friends and family
WhatsApp
WhatsApp is probably one of the most popular chatting apps worldwide. There are over 1 billion people on WhatsApp. WhatsApp can’t just leave you in the dark if you don’t have Google services, so they don’t require it. That’s right, you can use WhatsApp on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro without it. It works perfectly with no features missing.
Installing is as easy as pie as well.
Open APK Pure
Search for “WhatsApp”
Select WhatsApp and install it
Enjoy messaging your friends “What’s up” on WhatsApp
Facebook
Last but not least, Facebook. Facebook doesn’t require Google Services what-so-ever. You can just sign into your account and it will work perfectly. This is because Facebook designs their apps to work on any device, no matter the services installed. All you need to do is sideload the apps and it will work perfectly.
Installing Facebook is also super easy to install
Open APK Pure
Search for “Facebook”
Select Facebook and click “install”
Facebook is now installed and works, sign in and catch up with your friends.
Facebook on APK Pure
Twitter
Twitter, like Instagram, doesn’t require any PWAs or require GMS. All you need to do is side load the app and it works! Just like Telegram, it won’t be able to find your location. This generally isn’t an issue though, you can just type in a location to find it. Installing this is just as simple as the others, all you need to do is sideload the APK and it will work.
You can easily install Twitter with a few clicks
Go to APK Pure
Search for “Twitter”
Select Twitter and click “install”
Enjoy tweeting!
Twitter on APK Pure
Instagram
Instagram is one of the most popular social media apps I’ve ever used. Luckily, it works perfectly without GMS. Unlike Telegram, every feature in the app works. All you need to do is side load the app. You can install this through APK Mirror or APK Pure.
Installing Instagram is something you can do in a snap
Go to APK Pure
Search for “Instagram”
Select Instagram
Click Install
Take and post all the selfies your heart desires
Instagram on APK Pure
LinkedIn
LinkedIn actually works really well without GMS. Everything about the app works so you can check in on your contacts really easily. The only thing that won’t work is signing in with Google, but that’s not a huge deal since you can just sign in using your email. Everything else about the app works.
Installing LinkedIn is just like installing most other apps.
Go to APK Pure
Search for “LinkedIn”
Select LinkedIn and click “Install”
Enjoy connecting with your connections
LinkedIn on APK Pure
Spotify
Spotify is one of the great apps that doesn’t require GMS what-so-ever. All you will need to do is install the APK through APK Pure. Spotify does use split APKs which means you won’t be able to sideload just once APK like many other apps. Once installed, it will function normally. You can sign in using Facebook or your Spotify account, everything works.
To install Spotify, it’s really simple.
Open the APK Pure app store
Search for “Spotify”
Select Spotify and click “Install”
Follow the prompts to install Spotify
Enjoy your music!
Spotify on APK Pure
YouTube
YouTube is by far the largest video media site on the internet. It has almost every video you would ever want to watch. It has so much and can entertain you for hours on end. Sadly, YouTube requires GMS as it is a Google app. Luckily, there are alternatives.
The first alternative is just using the YouTube website. You can go to YouTube.com on the Huawei Browser and have full access to your account. It will also allow you to sign into your account and view all your recommended videos.
The next way to get it working is using YouTube Vanced and MicroG. Luckily, neither of these apps require root. Installing is pretty simple as well.
Download the MicroG and YouTube Vanced APKs
Install both MicroG and YouTube Vanced
You can now sign into your Google account and view all your recommended videos and subscriptions
YouTube Vanced and MicroG APKs
Google Photos
Google Photos is the absolute best service Google has ever released. It allows you to store all your photos in a high quality formats. This is an amazing service, but sadly, it will crash without GMS installed. That means you won’t be able to use the Google Photos app. Instead, you can use the website. The Google Photos website allows you to view every picture you’ve taken and synced with Google Photos along with allowing you to upload photos to Google Photos.
Alternatively, you can use the Huawei Gallery app. The Huawei Gallery app allows you to sync data with Google as well. Using stock apps on your phone is always better than alternatives, so syncing with Huawei Gallery with Google data could really be your best bet.
If you aren’t into Huawei’s Gallery and want to use Google Photos, you can use the Google Photos website. It is really simple, all you need to do is sign into the mobile website through the Huawei Browser app. It has a great and easy to use UI along with the ability to upload photos.
Google Photos Website
Google Maps
Believe it or not, Google Maps is one of the few Google apps that actually works on EMUI 10 without Google apps. The full app doesn’t work, but the main and most important ones do. You are able to search for locations and navigate to the location. You can’t sign into your account or use previous locations through location history, but the main, and most important, parts of the app works.
To install Google Maps, its actually really simple.
Open the APK Pure app store
Search for “Google Maps”
Select Google Maps and click “Install”
Enjoy Google Maps!
Google Maps on APK Mirror || Google Maps on APK Pure
Look, Google services are a huge part of Android, but that doesn’t mean you need them. It’s not going to be a perfect experience using a Huawei Mate 30 Pro without Google apps, but it works and most important services you might be interested in running on the phone should work well. There will be an outlier here and there, but most of the time it will be fine.
I bought my Mate 30 Pro, the Chinese LIO-AL00 variant, before the Google app ban and I was disappointed to see it was. As I used the phone without Google apps, I realized that they are less and less necessary if you are willing to work around it. The hardware and cameras are just so good, it’s worth the trade-off of ease of use for that amazing hardware and camera.
Original Article
In fact, you can try this app :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-30/how-to/hey-gugs-app-install-gms-huawei-mate-30-t4039275
I agree, I did sideloaded GMS on my Mate 30 pro but looking into more detail I realize that 95% of the apps I use can be obtained using different app stores eliminating the need of google spy services. I believe its just a matter of time and there will be enough alternatives outside of GMS.
I find it funny that Huawei got blocked from using google but sideloading GMS is still possible. Ok, the initial link got taken down but in essence the same procedure remains and once you have GMS installed on your phone it all works normal. Updates, buying apps trough play store and even most banking apps work. It would be perfect possible for google to block our phones if they really wanted. If my phone provider can see which phone I am using without me telling them I am sure google can see this also. Its just not in their interest of really blocking our phones, maybe there are not enough of us around for them to justify taking action but then again it would be just a matter of programming software. I will root my Galaxy Note 9 to remove or "freeze" most of the google crap I don't really use but honestly I like the fact that there are android devices out there without google. If not for the (build in) stylus I would not have bought the Note 9.

But what about the paid Google apps (like premium version of AccuBattery) or game-add ons?
I think they might not work because of no GMS:crying:

As Already confirmed in other topics by myself and others, paid google apps are working. Bought several apps on google play store on the Mate 30pro, payment passed no problem and apps all working. What I cannot confirm as I don't use this is google pay in stores, that has been confirmed not to be working.

For all of these apps (esp the paid ones) to work, I must install the GMS workaround by LzPlay first right?
What I meant by WhatsApp live location is the location sharing feature that you can use for 15 minutes/1 hour/8 hours, to share your current location to other users...
Since it seems to use Google Maps, I worry that WhatsApp works except for that one feature...:crying:

I did not try the paid google apps without GMS on my phone but it seems logic that they would not work without having GMS on it. You could install the APK file but most likely that would be than an unpaid/trail version from the app containing in app purchase and adds.
If wattsapp live is coupled to google maps than you need GMS on your phone for it to work.
I have managed to install the GMS following this Spanish method and everything has gone perfectly, all the apps that require GMS work right -> video
But notifications work for you? After I used this same method, though I don't get the Google store constant popups, I don't get any notifications for anything whatsoever anymore...
According to your method, I have successfully installed youtube
I managed to get all the GMS services working properly but google ar core still does not work
Hello guys.
The forum for this device was a bit quiet so i figured I'd jump in.
My P50 Pro should arrive here in the states in a couple days. Ordered the CN model from WondaMobile.
Currently using a P40 pro without any Google hacks. Other than micro G to make notifications work on a few apps. Along with YouTube vanced.
I'll update this post once i get the device in. I'm really excited though. I'm still semi new to Huawei devices and I can't believe I've been missing out this whole time.
Anyone else have any experiences importing the Chinese model in? I've imported and used China model Xiaomi phones on CN ROM without issues in the past. My P40 pro is a global model though. Id imagine it's as simple as setting to English and deleting Chinese bloat.
You'll be now a target for secret services !!! )
A new traitor ... ) Hahaha ...
On Huawei phone(s) is not so much bloatware, maybe just few preinstalled sugestions for apps; on global models, I don't know about CN models ...
I bought Huawei (global) models since the Ascend P6 (P6, P7, P9, P10 lite, Mate10 pro, P40 pro, Mate40 pro).
Is not such a big deal without GMS, we can live without it very good. Since the ban, I bought P40 pro (I had installed GMS on it from the start) and Mate40 pro (nothing about GMS here).
Yes, we have few limitations without GMS, but I think we can live with them like so.
MicroG, YouTube vanced, Curve or iCard for banking apps substitute ... is not ideal, but we can go further.
Well guys. I'm going to a longer write up when I get some time. But here are just a few quick thoughts
Camera specifically pictures are great.
I banged my head for a while trying to get microG to stay active in background for my notifications on apps from Aurora store.
Micro G + Aurora and really don't miss Google very much. Apart from Google photos which is going to be a process b
I also purchased a Matebook 14s, Free buds pro and Watch 3.
Matebook and phone integration is honestly superior to Apples in my opinion. Freebuds switches between the two incredibly intuitively and fast.
That's about all for my initial thoughts for now.
I ran into a really weird issue. I had micro G installed for push notifications initially it kept dying in the background despite battery optimization being turned off as well as being locked in the drawer.
I noticed the "app launch" setting wouldn't allow me to manage micoG core manually and let it autostart etc. It literally didn't appear even when selecting show system process.
I installed, uninstalled over and over. I tried different forks etc
One time I added stock MicroG via repo on Fdroid and BAM it showed up in the app launch settings to control it manually and allow autostart. IT WORKED FLAWLESSSLY. Stable notifications from that point forward.
Well I screwed around and factory reset my phone for another reason. Now I cannot get MicroG core to show up under app launch to allow it to be manually managed. Therefore it keeps dying in the background. Does anyone have any clue how I made it work the first time around? and why it won't show up to manage manually anymore in the "app launch" setting??
Alright guys I banged my head on this wall for a LONG time but I've done it. I've got stable 95% working GMS on this p50 pro kirin chip model. No micro G BS. Full GMS.
I basically used Average Logs guide on youtube to install Googlefier and the Chinese looking Google install app. BUT after that I stopped following his guide and just followed the actual Googlefier steps.
Playstore opens, and lets me download everything. LOTS of apps give a play protect warning but goes away and lets you open the app. Then you can disable Google Play Protect notifications in the notification settings for each individual app. Once you disable it most apps work complete fine, although some are bit turbulent and slow getting started for the first time you launch them. Some of them have some quirky behavior as well.
But the following APPs are working for me, to the point where they either function completely normally or 95% normally.
Google App
Youtube (wants you to update play services to Cast videos to my Google Home which I don't want to do in fear of breaking my set up)
Youtube Music
Youtube TV
Google Voice
Google Photos
Gmail (although it pesters you a bit a pop in app that can be dismissed and functions fine)
Google Chrome
Google Messages works fine (I've almost got RCS working as well but it seems hung up at connecting)
Google Dialer.
Google Drive
Google Maps signed in works but has a consistent occasional play protect warning that doesn't hinder use.
I cannot get Google TV app to open at all
Google Home seems like a complete no go.
Google Assistant will open and let you tinker a bit but can't respond to queries nor reach the server.
Overall I'm pretty happy. Phone is great. Notifications are completely stable. and most google apps work without issue.
Let's hope the next harmonyOS update doesn't break it. Also disable autoupdates on Google Play services because I think a newer version will break it.
hi. can you please tell me if your system haptics are working fine?
i mean on the dialer when you press numbers, do you have vibration feedback or only sound?
and on which firmware version are you?
thanks

the same here. no option to turn it on. i think is some kind bug. on my p40 pro with haptics on on dialer there was vibration
To update my thread, even though it's a ghost town. Sad because this is a great device.
I was able to get RCS Chat working today with the Google Messages app.
Two days ago I was an IDIOT and cleared all data on Google Play services trying to get Google Home to work (Despite the fact I barely use it instead I use HASS)
Somehow it ended up updating my Play services which broke everything. I then redid the Googlefier method and it completely installed GMS without any issues. THIS Time however it completely installed GMS with ZERO play protect pop ups. Which sounds great right? Completely stable GMS right?
Well the problem is now notifications were completely broken. I'd rather have have the 90% working GMS AND push notifications than 100% working without PUSH.
So after tinkering for a bit I got it back to the way I had it prior to. Most Google apps work completely fine after the first play certified warning. Then you can silence those. And push notifications work fine. It's something to do with the Google Framework Services step on Googlefier. You have to actually mess up the proper instructions. Not sure what specifically at this point.
Thanks for the various updates. I have been using a P50 Pro since September and am really happy with it. However, to me, the various options for installing GMS are a bit like trying to crack a nut with a sledgehammer. And even after all of the installation etc. you have to freeze play service which effectively turns off app updates, so that seems to take away most of the benefit of all that hard work?
The simplest option (for me at least) was to use GSpace and just clone any apps that I needed (really just Google Photos and a few others that use the maps api) into the GSpace area. You can even create homescreen shortcuts. You can also achieve the same with Vmos.
Everything else works just fine within Harmony OS and no problem with any notifications for all other apps like WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram etc. Curve works well in Harmony OS as an alternative to Google Pay. Various app updates via APK Pure.
But no matter how you approach it, it's still a great phone!
hi
did any one of you received firmware updates ever? and which country you have set in the phone?
i see that in china new firmware is rolling out.
HarmonyOS 2.0.1.195 SP5 update
I set up the phone in Europe. and have had a few updates (maybe 2 or 3?) Currently on HarmonyOS 2.0.0.235 but presume the update you refer to will roll out over the coming week or so.
Thanks for the thread here. My question: I do not know if I installed micro G correctly. Main problem for now is that I use a gmail account for my contacts and calendar. The synchronization does not work for me. That mean, I get my contacts only by importing them to my smartphone. Should this work with micro G? I also can not find a good tutorial eg on Youtube or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Got my P50 pro today; in itself completely thrilled.
Thanks for your help!
hi. anyone received this new firmare update?
@Flying Fox: you have to import your contacts on the Huawei ID.
If you have an old Huawei with GMS it's easy, you can login with your Huawei ID on it, import your contacts from gmail account to your Huawei ID, then you can login with your Huawei ID on the new phone and sync your contacts.
Be sure you will add the new contacts into your Huawei ID (on your new phone).
If you don't have an old Huawei to do that, you can save contacts on the old phone as vCars, export that file on the new phone, then import contacts from vCard file on the Huawei ID.

Thank you very much for your help. The problem is that appointments and new contacts are not synchronized. I think therefore rather to create a new email account, eg outlook or protonmail.
However, I think that micro g does not work for me. Currently I am trying to transfer my signal account (from my Oneplus 6 pro). This also does not seem to work. Or can it be that this does not work at all.... ? Thx!!
btw, does anyone know a tutorial for installing micro g that works under emui 12.01? On youtube I found a very good one in german, only it doesn't seem to work for me...
You can uninstall all you have about vanced and microG.
Then, on vancedapp.com, you can find Vanced manager. Install it, open it and find there YouTube vanced and Vanced microG.
Install both without open them.
Then, into phone settings - apps -apps - microG settings, you can turn off Cloud messaging first, then turm off Cloud device registration. Open YouTube vanced and login with your account.
Now you must have usable YouTube vanced and microG.
On Mate40 pro, without GMS aswell, I use Yahoo mail for gmail and yahoo accounts, and Business calendar pro for events.
Try that way ...
LE: you have contacts imported on Huawei ID allready and doesn't sync ? (and in the phonebook set to show your Huawei ID contacts)

Thank you very much. However, I did not mean youtube vanced, but the installation of microG (i.e. GmsCore and MicroG Framework) for the functionality of various apps, push notifications and account synchronization. Thanks anyway!!!
Full GMS working now
no problem
