Hello, I have got this problem with my galaxy s7. My main hardware problem is that I cannot use usb port to transfer data or to make any change to my phone due to the hardware failure. So it's inaccessible to flash a recovery or rom through usb connector. After installing a different custom rom before 3-4 months, tried to install also migiksk to hide root priveledge for using web banking apps and etc. My problem is that i cant find any zip to install because of TWRP problem "internal storage 0mb". What do you recommend me to do without to be needed to use any usb cable?

Hi, please excuse me if this question seems redundant, but I've tried all of the solutions found elsewhere and nothing seems to work.
I'm on a rooted Verizon Galaxy S3 running CM10.0 and I can not get UMS mode to work for the life of me. I have a 64gb card formatted FAT32, but I've also tried with a 32gb card, and neither will work. Both cards work with an SD card reader.
When I click UMS mode and plug in, nothing happens either on my phone or on my computer. The USB debugging icon doesn't even pop up (and yes, Debugging is checked).
Previously I was running Synergy r77 (ICS-based build) and using SGS3 Easy UMS, which was working, but then this wouldn't work once I upgraded to 125 (JB-based), hence the switch to CM to try and get UMS back.
I tried the UMS code in Terminal Emulator. I tried the USB Switcher app. I tried SGS3 Easy UMS. I tried switching in Settings > Storage > USB. I tried deleting all data, wiping the cache and the dalvik, and reinstalling the ROM, all to no avail.
I can connect in MTP.
Anyone got any ideas? I'm willing to try just about anything.
Thanks!

I feel your pain. Unfortunately I do not believe there is a way around this at this time. After trying for days, I decided to use AirDroid instead, it's not a fix by any means, but it does allow you to access and transfer content to your device very easily and it's free in Play Store. Wish I could have been of more help!
Thanks for the suggestion. I've been using AirDroid for transferring to internal storage, but I need to be able to use USB Mass Storage with Songbird on my Mac.
A few months ago I reformatted the internal SD card with CWM (under Mounts and Storage) to get rid of a battery drain problem. I don't know that I've tried putting the phone into UMS since then. Is it possible that maybe this caused my issue?
If so how do I properly reformat the internal SD to get things working how they should be? I'm running CWM and have all of my ROM zips, along with nandroid and Titanium Backups on my external SD that I can access if need be. I just don't want to start formatting /system, /sdcard, etc and find myself bricked without CWM.
Thanks again for any help!
Update: Formatted /system in CWM, data wiped, cleaned cache and dalvik and then reflashed CM10 using a nightly that was more recent than the stable release. Both mass storage and MTP seem to be working now. I think it was a bug in the version that I had flashed, or maybe something in /system got messed up from me not cleaning it in between switching ROMs. Either way, problem solved!
Hello friends, I am facing a problem with USB Mass storage. Please find the case as below.
Previously when I used to connect my phone with my laptop, it used to show a pop-up notification on either I wish to enable USB mass storage mode or just wish to have my phone on charging only. USB debugging was also working like a charm during those days.
Now, from last two days (suddenly) none of the computers (i have tried on almost 10 different laptops) is recognizing my phone. Though this is the problem, it gets charged over USB without any problems.
Could someone of you please help with your expert knowledge??? I have tried downloading certain applications from Play Store also but no luck at all.
In furtherance to this, please note that I clicked on "format/emmc" while installing one of the custom ROMs through CWM recovery before two days and i suspect that this could have caused a problem.
Please help.

Buddy,
Formatting EMMC is just like formatting SD card and EMMC is Internal SD card.
Do one thing backup all your data and then reboot in recovery and there you will find the options:-
Mount & Storage --> Mount USB Storage.
First connect your phone to USB and to the laptop then do the above said if its connected then its working and you only have to clear the defaults of the USB application.
If its not working then try other rom with proper guidance of flashing given by the OP.
Hit Thanks Instead of Saying It.....
Can anybody please help me?
I know Im an idiot for not backuping important data (regularly), but **** happened (still not quite sure how) and I got all the data from my internal storage erased. Now, I know that it can be easily restored (to some extent) via connecting the phone as a mass storage through USB, but the problem is that my USB port is broken. And I know that there are some apps for data recovery on Play Store, but they all require a rooted device and my is not. And again to root it I need a working USB port (my phone Huawei U9200 cant be rooted via apps such as Framaroot or Towelroot). And the problem with fixing and changing the USB port is that it is connected to the same board everything is connected to, SIM card, camera, audio jack, probably everything is on the single piece of board, so changing that would be quite expensive (and Im not sure if I can do it myself, and currently Im living in Finland where everything is 5x overpriced).
So my question is what now? Are there any other ways yo recover the deleted data from internal storage? Like via FTP or Bluetooth maybe? Or is it possible maybe to directly access phone flash memory (eg. to disconnect it from the board and mount on a pc somehow)?
Please somebody help me...
This will be a long post as i have tried many solutions and i am really stuck. After xda search and google searches, i still have not found an appropriate guide/answer to my problem. Any help is much appreciated!
Ok so to the background:
I have a sm-n920t (tmobile note 5), unlocked, with twrp touch, skyhigh kernel, and teksodus hybrid rom for n5. Doesnt have sd card slot!
(this is the device im having issues with)
I also have a zte awe n800, rooted, nothing else custom. Has sd card slot with 7gb card!
I currently have no pc on hand
I also have a usb otg cable, a micro sd card reader (to use sd with n5), and a UNFORMATTED usb flash drive with about 4gb
My problem:
I frequently flash roms to my n5 (last stable: twrp touch 2.8.7.1 by manhit, skyhigh kernel, tekxodus n5 hybrid). Upon attempting to flashing a new release of tekxodus, i accidentally erased EVERYTHING. As in when preflash wiping, i checked all boxes (including system and data). So at this point i have a n5 in twrp with no OS. The copy of my rom was on the device. I have copies, but not on the device. So basically the phone doesnt have anything except the skyhigh kernel, recovery, and bootloader. Again (because i saw this alot) i have no sd slot on the n5, no nandroid backup, and no copy of rom on device
Ok so now on to
What i have tried (in order):
Searching ENTIRE n5 filesystem (using twrp file manager) for rom/nandroid
Adb push (when i had a pc) RESULT cannot find device, no matter what state phone/pc was in (restart, safe mode, admin, etc.)
Adb sideload (via twrp when i had a pc) RESULT same as above
Odin flash (when i had a pc) RESULT reflashed kernel successfully, could not find rom in tar.md5, would not flash a custom tarball or custom tar.md5 (odin force closes, typical for flash error)
Mtp via pc RESULT pc wont recognize pphone
Usb otg (via mirco sd adapter with my sd card with my rom stored on it) RESULT n5 would not mount/read sd card
Usb otg(via usb flash drive) RESULT wouldnt mount on n5, zte awe doesnt support otg, friends s6 edge load flash via otg fine. I know the drive is not formatted using ext4, which i hear n5 otg uses
What i want to avoid:
Flashing stock rom via Odin
Ive been stuck on this for 2 weeks now, any help guidance of anything is so greatly appreciated
I did the same thing. I had to flash the team win recovery then odin to stock.
U should download a new custom rom via PC and copy that ROM to ur otg flash drive.
If twrp can read that external otg flash drive then just flash that ROM to ur phone
If you have a copy of the rom on your USB drive just get to a PC and flash CWM as it has OTG support and you can flash from the USB drive.
Hi there,
So I have my good old OnePlus One, but its got a few issues and I wanna fix them.
The problems are that apps suddenly crash. Facebook Messenger and YouTube (only when casting) are the main two. I assume this is caused by dirty flashing between versions of CM13. The other issue is that the phone will lose all mobile data connections randomly and the only way to bring it back is to reboot the phone, aeroplane mode or 3/4G toggling doesn't fix the issue. My guess is that maybe the modem is incorrect?
I want to do a full reflash of CM13 by Jgcap, its the current ROM I'm using. I also want to format the partitions to F2FS because the ROM supports it and I've wanted to move to F2FS a few times but something usually goes wrong.
I'm using the official 3.0.2-0 TWRP but I cannot get it to mount ADB/USB at all, the PC detects that a 'Google Nexus ADB Interface' device has been connected but doesn't come up with any storages. Changing which partition which is mounted has no effect. So if I did format the partitions to F2FS, I wouldn't be able to put the ROM back onto the internal storage as the PC isn't seeing any storage devices.
My plan is to do a clean reflash of the CM13 and have the correct partitions formatted to F2FS, but because of the above issues, I cannot change the file system to F2FS because in any file system, the PC cannot see any storage devices when I mount TWRP and connect the USB.
It seems I have some issues with the USB driver. Even when I'm just in windows and normally connecting the phone when its in android, the USB seems to not work first time. If I connect my phone, it will show as 'A0001' in Device Manager but with an exclamation mark next to it. If I then unplug and replug the phone in, it will then work fine without issues. This has been the case with this phone since I got it, the above workaround means I can connect the phone to the PC for file transfer but it is annoying!
So I guess my questions are, how can I reinstall all types of correct USB drivers for the phone? and also which TWRP version should I use for the ADB/TWRP file transfer to put a ROM on the phone after formatting to F2FS? Flashing the firmware, ROM and Gapps etc, I have no issue with.
Sorry If this is hard to read, piecing it all together is frustrating.
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
