Oppo Find X2 Pro XDA Forum Location - OPPO Find X2 Pro Questions & Answers

Hey quick question, why is the Find X2 Pro forum located in the "General Development" section of XDA, instead of under the "Oppo" category?

Cool. Just curious.

For sure, it's difficult to find the X2 Pro forum, the logic would be to go to OPPO section, but it's not there. I had to bookmark the link to the forum to stop searching.

Hi @FarSight87 and @ScratMan38
Thank you for your inquiry and using our report system to draw our attention to this. The scattering of same-branded devices between their brand specific section and general development is something that lies in a few historic administration tool changes that XDA has gone through. Sadly it is not as simple as merely moving one section to another as this may break a great deal of bookmarks and search results where hundreds, if not thousands of our members depend on.
In case of OPPO you'll notice a remarkable difference (with the exception of OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G) between both sections: different capitalization

I'm sure there are plenty more variables and our recent move to the new XenForo platform will likely be one of them.
I'm not sure why anyone would say it's difficult to find the X2 Pro forum. Simply searching for 'x2 pro' using the search function at the top of every page (without even setting any options) shows this device as third result:

It's not "difficult", but annoying. My first action when looking for info on a phone is clicking on its brand section. And as it doesn't appear in the Oppo section, I didn't understand, and finally had to use the search field.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply.
I'm just gonna go and Google XenForo now.

Cool beans! One of our Gods Admins has taken on the challenge and has appointed your device as a test case. This device has now been moved to its brand category. Can you guys help me by checking if your bookmarks and any links you have laying around (eg. browser history) still works? Please report any irregularities here. Also get back to me if it's all running smooth. Thanks!

My bookmarks still seems to work.
Links to watched threads are also working.
Thanks (Gods) to the Admins

All working correctly as far as I can tell

many people asked to open redmi k30pro /poco f2 pro forum, but no one care!!!
Yes, please open Poco F2 Pro Forum !
Please open Poco f2 pro/redmi k30 pro forum.
we have forum for devices not even out yet but no k30 pro forum which is popular device thats been out for months. Has no forum crazy
Oppo is probably chucking sponsor money at them as the devices are all over XDA. Pages upon pages of requests for the k30 pro/Poco f2 pro and get poor excuses all the time, yet Oppo phones have a section within XDA before they're even launched. Seems a bit iffy that a top end device can't get a spot on XDA.

No, did you really search anything.?
There's definitely POCO X3 PRO with NFC.
That means you got both only POCO X3 PRO (bhima).
This question is so easy to be solved if you ask the people/company who sold you your phones.

You know what, never assume something which u don't know.
I have one vayu and another Bhima. Don't be so silly backing up your statement brother.
Neither the vayu has nfc nor bhima has, I've checked it hence posted.
And one thing if u are here to blame someone then please stop replying to my post.
Thank you

How you check it is the problem.
I have vayu global, I got NFC.
You said have vayu Indian, you got no NFC.
This issue is region related.
I checked the Indian Poco X3 pro spec. No NFC shown in the spec, so this is your region problem.
https://www.poco.in/specs-x3-pro
Change your country setting to United States, and language to English. Reboot and see if you get NFC.
So far I've only seen one person saying Vayu has no NFC.
I post a picture from POCO global to proof there's NFC in Poco X3 pro. Where's your proof?
Ask the person/company who sold the phones to you to answer your question if you think I'm just here to blame someone.
Did I anywhere said that I'm facing a problem, I'm just asking a question what's the difference as I didn't find any difference.
Please read the post carefully and comment.

You find no difference doesn't mean there's no difference.
Someone else told the difference, which I posted in my first reply, and this is not even my word.
If you want to negate his word, go negate him wrong, not me.
The reason why I reply is because you said "Poco X3 Pro has no NFC". This is definitely wrong.

Can't u understand English? I asked what's the difference and for that u have replied google it.
But I haven't mentioned anywhere that there is no difference.
Don't change the words.

I gave you the answer with the link. Did you go in and read what kamild_ said? Did you even press it?
It links to the post with the answer he said.
Don't change the word, did I tell you to "Google" it?
Did you try searching "in this forum?"
In fact there is difference, but you said you "didn't find any difference." = You find no difference.
"there is no difference" = In fact there is difference.
And now you are agreeing with me that there is difference, but you find no difference, how ??
Please read the post carefully , i have mentioned I didn't find any difference but I never said there is no difference.
And you said search before posting means google it out brother.
Don't try to justify your actions and stating that u are correct.
Be polite to other when someone ask a question.

You didn't find any difference = You find no difference.
Yes, you never said "there is no difference",
but "you cannot find it" bro.
If you are negating this, that means you find difference. What difference you find?
search before posting means google it out ??
Search your pocket for your key before posting means Google out your key?
Search = google?
Not yandex, yahoo, baidu, bing, duckduckgo, wikipedia, XDA, etc. ??
You ask the question, I answered you with links and proofs.
You said no, I'm wrong, but you never proof me wrong and saying I'm impolite.
I'm not customer service, it's good enough as long as I don't post illegal or indecent words and not even insult words.
Who's impolite when someone ask but the other side never answering?
I answered yours, so it's not me.
Where's the answer to my question that "POCO X3 pro" has no NFC?
Sorry I can't explain to a person who's eyes are completely closed.
And even it's waste to argue with people like you.

Thanks for your self introduction.
Don't be so silly brother, you didn't even backing yourself.
The vayu has NFC
Send me your Poco X3 pro (vayu) if there's Poco X3 pro that has NFC.
You might have a faulty one or got tricked lol.
Have you finished?
Both of you?
after flashing the fastboot ROM, my device, which was earlier detected as vayu in that MIUI debloat tool, a jar file, (MIUI ADB and fastboot tool), is now detected as bhima, in the same tool and when I go to debloat it via CMD! Can anybody tell me why it is so? And is there any fix for this?
