I'm not able to open the Android camera app anymore. WIth Edxposed disabled it works. So I'm wondering if anyone on Android 11 Nov update with Edxposed has camera working. If so, could you kindly tell me your setup (ie. Edxposed version, etc.)?
Edit: It looks like the Camera update from Nov 17 is what broke this. After uninstalling the update it works.
I have the same problem - how did you uninstall the update?
EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out ?
Uninstalling the update down to 7.3.021 is an okay fix... but is there any way to update it to something more recent without installing 8.1.011 from the Play Store which is definitely broken with EdXposed?
I tried the APK Mirror installer with a split APK, but get a "verification did not succeed" error. This is with USB/ADB verification disabled.
I tried an old 7.6 APK with MiXplorer trying to install with root and it also didn't work.
I don't think I use the camera enough to even know the difference between 7.x and 8.x... I guess I'm just curious.
Anyone found a solution for this? Only stock version is working.
Apparently if you clear the cache/data of Google Play Services, the APK Mirror Installer will have better luck installing other versions.

For pass the dread "verification did not succeed" message, clear your Google Play framework data. You will need to resetting some personalization settings (you will know when it happens) but install of 8.x camera app will work.
I had the same issue with edxposed and google camera 8.1, but all of a sudden it started working today. Not really sure what I did that made it work.
I was playing around with edxposed back and forth. Originally had Riru v21.2 installed (where camera 8.1 didn't work), so I installed Riru v23 over it. Rebooted but camera still didn't work. Went back to v21.2 or v21.3 and then went back to v23. I may have done a few more uninstaling/reinstalling and now camera 8.1 opens without crashing.
With camera 8.1 working, I have the following installed: magisk manager 21101, riru v23, riru-edxposed v0.5.0.6 (sandhook), edxposed manager 4.5.7. But the odd thing is that I've had the same apps/modules installed when camera was not working.
What I noticed different this time is that Edxposed manager says "Edxposed Framework is not installed" whereas before it would say something like, "installed but not active." That made we think that edxposed wasn't installed or active, so i tested with 2 xposed modules (fingerface and disableflagsecure) and they both work... so I'm pretty sure edxposed is active.
I also cleared the cache and storage on the camera app but I don't think that did anything.

I tried it but it didn't work, it only works with v 21.3 but the modules stopped working. Hopefully a solution comes out.

I tried updating Google Camera to 8.1, immediately didn't work as expected.
Added to Exposed blacklist, rebooted... still didn't work.
Added to Exposed Compat list, rebooted... still didn't work.
Downgraded to 7.1, works again.
Before installing 8.1, I added Camera to Exposed blacklist. Just for safe measure also added to magisk hide. Rebooted, installed 8.1 and it worked.
Don't know if all steps are necessary but not gonna tweak anything since I don't know how sensitive it is.
Added to Magisk Hide, Xposed Blacklist, Xposed Compat list, rebooted; installed 8.1.101.x... force closes immediately.
thx, it worked for me. I did it after I already installed 8.1

I did this except add to magiskhide and it worked.. uninstalled updates. Compatibility list camera app, rebooted then open it. After update back to 8.1. and opened camera..works great again
What fixed the problem for me was downloading the latest canary YAHFA build in exposed manager. And flashing it in Magisk. I already had configured the compatibility settings for the camera module.

This is all I had to do on my Pixel 4a 5G also. Thanks!
For anyone wondering, in EdExposed, if I go to XHide and hide camera it works. Hope this helps!
Hide camera in black list.
Latest version of exposed, riru, and riruedxposed June 21 update stock rooted. Working flawlessly
LSPosed is a better choice
EdXposed has not been updated for too long
Anyone found a solution? I can't get it to work hiding gcam on xposed blacklist and magiskhide
Hey guys
I've been using Microsoft Teams on my on my rooted phone using Magisk Hide for a while and it suddenly stopped working (saying my phone was rooted).
I then updated Magisk Manager & Magisk (22.0) but then Safetynet didn't pass anymore. I fixed it using safetynet-fix module as suggested here.
However since then I can't manage to use Teams, it still detects my phone is rooted. Magisk Hide is activated on the Teams app and companyportal app
Any help ?
Thanks

Maybe try an older version of Magisk(Miui 12.02 android 10).
Uninstall your actually version.

hey man, had the same problem and solved it yesterday after a lot of tries
I'm using the Magisk v21.2.zip and the Magisk 22 (manager). I uninstalled the Teams and the Company Portal app, made Magisk appear with another name (you can do it in the settings, I just put "Manager"), installed those apps again, used Magisk Hide and then it finally worked

If anyone needs :
Uninstall Magisk using the Manager
Uninstall Teams & Company Portal
Download Magisk 21.2 on the official Github
Flash it using TWRP
Install the Magisk manager
Rename it in the app settings
Install Teams & Company Portal and use Magisk Hide
Good afternoon,
Excellent tip! I was using version 22.0 and it didn't work.
I tested with Magisk 20.4, it also works.
Thanks

Well after like a day or two it just moans about root access and you still have to do uninstall both and reinstall - So it's either that or remove root - It seemed to work but it's not for long 2 days of usage tops
For me, I managed to fix it somehow by uninstalling some root apps (TitaniumBackup, Swift Backup, Tasker, etc) and deleting my twrp folder in my root storage and removing CP/Teams and then restarting and then re-installing CP/Teams and then unchecking MagiskHide on these apps (it was already-reselected) and then re-enabling MagiskHide. I think ultimately it was this last step (re-toggling MagiskHide on/off) that fixed it. Previously, after re-installing CP/Teams, MagiskHide (and all sliders) was already enabled and I just figured it was working, but it might not have been.
EDIT - nevermind, it still gave me the error after some time.
Still not working for me on my OnePlus 9 Pro. Removed all files/folder with root/kernel/boot naming from root storage. Deleted MS Teams and Portal app and reinstalled them. Reenabled in Magisk Hide but the Portal tool still detects root. Any other solutions?
Edit:
It worked now. In Magisk Hide I had to select all services from the Portal app and not just the main one.
I did some testing and the latest Microsoft Teams (V1416/1.0.0.2021114201) works with company portal app with up to this version:
Intune Company Portal - 2021-05-12 - v5.0.5147.0
Anything newer eventually leads to 'non-compliant device' error, even with the latest magisk hide fixes.
You can get it on apkpure.
same problems here, even though some months have passed after this thread,
teams requested that I go over and install this intune company portal app,
the problem occurred in 2 (of my 3) devices, all rooted, the 2 that had the problem are rooted with magisk,
no problems on the 3rd one rooted with super su,
anyway, I've spent many hours trying to make it work,
I changed package name of magisk, I updated it,
I uninstalled edxposed and switched to lsposed, etc,
nothing worked,
only thing that worked for me was to roll back to an old teams version,
back to august of 2020,
I downloaded from apkmirror
Would it not be possible to just keep everything the way it is and only unroot the phone?
Or does unrooting mean you have to go back to stock rom...?
of course it would be possible,
I'm not using a custom rom (miui actually) but you wouldn't have to go back to stock anyway,
anyway, I wouldn't want to lose root only for some app that I use on a laptop or work desktop
most of the time, it's useful for the notifications though..

It does work, and you do not need to reinstall or delete anything - just select the Portal app in Magisk Hide, select it again to display its services, and check all the services.
I'm using Teams on different Magisk rooted Androids, also MIUI 12.5.12.0. Why should that be an issue?

in my opinion, this is the solution.
it works for me
I've managed to hide root from the apps themselves by installing the Universal SafetyNet Fix and enabling Zygisk (Beta) and Enforce DenyList and adding the apps to the DenyList and I can use all the apps but now Play Store won't let me update Netflix or Revolut, as it says they're no longer compatible with my device.
I've now hidden the Magisk app, which hasn't helped, and I'm trying to install the Shamiko module from Telegram but if I choose "Normal Android Way" Magisk just closes and if I choose "File Way" it says "Unzip error". This isn't specific to the Shamiko zip though, it happens if I try to reinstall the Universal SafetyNet Fix zip.
I'm using the latest Magisk v24.1, although I notice that on the Home screen it says "Zygisk: No" even though it's enabled. The only other modules installed are Busybox, Call Recorder and Systemless Hosts.
EDIT: Nevermind. I found that this only happens when trying to install using ES File Explorer. If I use the default File Manager it works OK.
EDIT2: So I followed the steps here, from "Setup Fingerprint", setting it to Poco X3 NFC Global - Android 11, and cleared the data&cache for Play Store and Play Services and rebooted, and now the Play Store doesn't even show Netflix or Revolut, either in the list of installed apps or when I search for them. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-11-lineageos-official-surya-karna.4202533/post-84100067
EDIT3: I disabled "Enforce DenyList" and enabled the Shamiko (v0.4.3) module instead and rebooted and cleared the Play Store and Play Services cache again and now I'm back to where I was before, with Netflix and Revolut showing in the installed apps list (but not when I search for them) and unable to update as it says they're no longer compatible with my device.
EDIT4: Updated Universal SafetyNet Fix to v2.2.1 and used adb props to Force Basic Key attestation to surya (default value, was M200....). No change. Checking Safety Net with Root Checker says it fails.
Magisk 24.1, enabled Zygisk, enabled DenyList, added all Google apps to the DenyList. Renamed the Magisk package name.
Flashed kdrag0n's Universal SafetyNet fix, installed MagiskHide Props, enabled the surya fingerprint and forced basic attestation. All on LineageOS 18.1. Works fine, no issues so far. Didn't even need to clear data or cache for any apps, just rebooted the phone.

I'm using MIUI but I've literally done all of that and I still can't update Netflix or Revolut.
As explained by Lughnasadh here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/magisk-module-universal-safetynet-fix-1-1-0.4217823/post-86463103 we can't actually add Google Play Services to the DenyList, as doing so breaks USNF and it unticks automatically on reboot anyway. So I think all we can add to the list is Google Play Store.

I seem to have fixed this now by changing the device fingerprint from POCO X3 NFC Global to POCO X3 NFC Europe.
I have issues after the playstore updates. I can delete all data and at old version device is certified. But it updates itself and it's problem then on. Anyway to stop the playstore self update?
You could try Magisk's Detach module -- online repo is deprecated, but it is still around if you search for it...
I've had same issue about Revolut, I think Nerflix uses similar spies. but telling story short: I downloaded Revolut from ApkPure and cheched it on DenyList, reboot aaaaasaaaaaand it's all done, Revolut is getting updates and works as usuaully
I'm trying to bypass the SafetyNet chore by using MagiskHide and tools like this one.
I have yet to have success.
I have read lots of information about the topic, but most seems irrelevant and obsolete.
I use a custom ROM with Root enabled.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction of solving this issue?
Thank you.

Of course, I have that installed and working according to tutorials, already...
Still, not working.
"Fixed" it by appending `LEGACY_MIFARE_READER=1` to `/system/vendor/etc/libnfc-nci.conf`.
However, this breaks my SIM service. Not sure, how those features are related, but here we are.
Another reboot seems to have fixed the SIM service issue.
Is this really it? Is the NFC problem really fixed after such a long time?
I cannot believe it.
I will test this for some time, just to be sure....
Did you force basic attestation in props?
I'm using ArrowOS 12 (ArrowOS 11 before that) and never had problems with SafetyNet.
Using latest Magisk, Zygisk and DenyList enabled. As for modules, I use GPay SQLite Fix and Universal SafetyNet fix. No other fixes or modules were necessary
if it's for banking apps, just check "Google services" on DenyList (first of all click the dots on right upper corner and check system apps). I was fighting that some time ago.
there's no need to install modules or do anything else, just check all apps U need on DenyList but the main app to deny is still "Google Services"

Enabled DenyList, checked Google Play Services and it stays checked. Checking Google Services Framework gets reverted each time I visit DenyList. There is no "Google services".
I found `*.gservices` as a sub-category of Google Services Framework. Disabled. Rebooted several times, after trying out multiple possibilities, but none did work. One time, even basic attestation was broken, which needed another reboot to fix.
no, sorry for my rush, it was about Google Play Services. I have never "denied" Google Services Framework.
what I would do is uninstall modules like "safetynet fix" and reboot to twrp, there's a fix for zygisk, install that one.
then reboot to system, clear all the data of an disobedient app, then go to Magisk DenyList and look for the app, check all services and search for Google Play Services again (I have to check it aftet every reboot somehow).
I just have had similar issue an hour ago with Revolut app because I crashed my system and had to dirty flash what swiped Magisk.
just be patient, it's not hard or complicated work

Check the app or what services? What exactly?
ok, then..
if You go in TWRP to "advanced" and then to "magisk" (sorry if the name isn't correct, I don't focus on names of options) and there are options like "install magisk 24..." or "uninstall magisk 24...", under that there are fixes, so You should find it, it's under "SafetyNet Fix". You need Zygisk, so get fix for Zygisk.
I was about the app that's not working, if You click on the bar with the name it will show its services. in standard Magisk denies only the main service of an app, but some apps require checking all of them.

I did not dare to go into TWRP, because I am not absolutely sure if data or storage encryption works perfectly fine with TWRP on Android 11. I don't want to boot into TWRP and have everything encrypted and therefore unusable.
I did so many flashes and some of them had this problem, but I cannot remember if it was because of a failed flash or because it actually did not work.
I also do not want to remove encryption in Android Security Settings every single time I visit TWRP.
Posts like the following also sound very concerning.
[FIXED] How to remove data encryption in TWRP
Users of TWRP 3.1 on Doogee Mix (including myself) faced the mammoth problem of an encrypted storage after unlocking the bootloader and flashing the custom recovery. This problem is not peculiar to the Doogee Mix, any other device with TWRP 3.1+...
forum.xda-developers.com
there's no need to remove encryption, nothing abiut that.

Sure, wanted to do that, anyway, but forgot about it.
Hi all,
I just installed LineageOS on my g100, and now a few apps are refusing to run - in particular netflix and my bank app (Fidelity). Also the TMNT game crashed at launch.
I went through https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/discussion-magisk-the-age-of-zygisk.4393877/ and installed Magisk, MagiskHide Props Config, and Universal SafetyNet Fix and now YASNAC gives me a pass for both Basic integrity and CTS profile match. TMNT works now!
However, I still can't install netflix or log into my bank app. I'm thinking that while I got a valid CTS profile, it's probably not the correct one for this device.
I think that what I need is for someone to run this command on an up-to-date stock firmware device:
Code:
getprop ro.build.fingerprint
Would anyone here be willing to do that for me?
---
Edit: I missed the section on adjusting prop values the first time through. Now my device is claiming to be a Pixel 6 and Fidelity works!
Netflix still won't install from the play store, but I sideloaded the apk and now it's working too!
It would still be nice to have the proper CTS profile/fingerprint if anyone gets a chance, though.
Try installing LineageOS, but from an older version, and try using other GApps
Not sure if you saw my edit, I've got everything working now. The phone is pretending to be a pixel 6.

That is the latest firmware. In the playstore, settings, about it must say Device certified, if it doesn't delete the play store data and make changes. For me even with that saying device certified, Netflix didn't appear until the next day.
