Unable to Get Phone ID
I am unable to get my Honor 8 phone ID which I require to 'unlock' the bootloader as the phone will NOT start up into Android. It boots to the point where it asks for the Region, then Language, then WiFi, etc and then it goes back to the beginning, THUS Region, Language, WiFi, etc. but it never boots into Android as a result I am not able to check the Phone ID or to enable anything like USB debugging, etc.
What I have done to get to this point:
The phone updated > it seems like the update was unsuccessful as it got stuck in a loop where it would ONLY boot to the Huawei eRecovery.
Then I read a post to 'roll-back' to the earliest version (FRD-AL10...135) which I did and then from the SD Card installed the stock firmware (update.app) by using the Pwr+Volme UP+Volume Down buttons. It succeeded to install the stock firmware and ever since then I am stuck at the Region, Language, WiFi, Terms Agreement, etc - BUT it never gets past the selection - it just loops over and over.
I have again installed the stock firmware as above, but it fails to start and continuously gets stuck at the Region, Language, etc selections.
Could anyone please provide help if possible.
All the other posts I read, I need the 'bootloader' to be unlocked, BUT I am unable to get the Phone ID to get the UNLOCK code.
I have also read some posts which suggests I use 'adb' and 'fastboot' to 'recover' the phone to stock firmware, BUT I constantly get an error - "FAILED - Remote: Command not allowed".
So at this point I am not sure how to go any further.
PS: I have also had the phone to my local Huawei Service Centre, but they refuse to help me with the Honor 8 as I did not buy it in S-Africa.

It is impossible to determine which firmware the phone had before it broke as I imported the phone from China, and I did not have a reason to unlock the phone before it broke, hence the reason I did not have a need for the Product ID when the phone functioned properly, it is only after it broke that I had to have access to all this information in an attempt to get it back to a functioning state. That being said, the phone worked perfectly for a week until it did an OTA 'update', when the phone restarted I was presented with all kinds of trouble.
I have since been able to start the phone up in Android after I had to buy DC-Unlocker credits to get the phone to boot properly. UN-locking the phone via DC-Unlocker, unlocked the FRP and only thereafter I was able to unlock the bootloader and root the phone, and get access to USB debugging settings, etc.
I was given a Huawei Mediapad T5 model AGS2-L09 with a broken display. I easily replaced the display, but the tablet is locked with a pin. I know how to bypass the frp, but I’m facing a strange issue. Factory reset through the recovery fails and is never completed. I also tried the eRecovery option, but it also results in error. Bootloader is locked, so I assume the tablet is not rooted and is with stock firmware. When I pull the device info through fastboot I’m getting a strange firmware version 8.0.0.371(OCEC431). If I’m not mistaken OCEC431 is the wifi model AGS2-W09. I also tried the dload method with OCEC432 firmware, but I’m getting an error saying that the firmware is not correct for this model. What can I do to fix the tablet?
Did you get any solution to your problem? I have a similar problem, after factory reset, I can't log in with my google account, it always gives an error.
p40 lite(jny-lx1) phone accidentally entered bootloop(restart) mode after huawei id operation. c432 10.0.0.200 emui 12 software is available on the phone. even though taking a security backup after the sigma huawei id operation, it gives an error while restoring this backup and the operation cannot be completed. I tried c432 emui 12 different software again but the problem did not improve.
Although I install the software by selecting 6 files, there is no change. Even though I install software with OTG, there is no change. Although I installed a "chip damage repair" backup from a different phone, the reboot continues after the "huawei" text at the beginning.
phone was on and working. There was no huawei id on the phone. I accidentally started the "huawei id" process. I didn't want to stop the process because it started. When the process is complete, the phone has entered the continuous reboot mode. I tried different software and chip fix but it doesn't work. The bootloop( restart) continues. do you have an idea?
I'm waiting for your help.
Hi, i have had for many years this phone and if something went really bad and really didn't have the hassle to open the back of the phone to restore it from test point, i would always go to erecovery and let the phone handle the entire process. But now i'm unable to connect to Erecovery services, every time i try it shows me "Getting package info failed"
I have tried the following:
Reflash the board with testpoint
dload method (which always fails with files and with hisuite proxy)
lock the bootloader
change dns as one thread on the honor 6x forum said
i formatted via original recovery
Nothing seems to work
Is anyone having the same problem i have? Does anyone knows the fix to the problem?
I'm having the same issue on my BLN-L24 (I had no issues until I tried to use a custom ROM without deleting fingerprints... oops), any help?
