Hello everyone!.
I noticed that MIUI Optimization forcibly closes the Apps even there are already excluded from Battery optimization. On the other hand turning MIUI Optimization off will cause bad shape of Icons and and "App Info" layout. Does any one have an idea to fix this issue?
PS: My MIUI is 12.0.7 Global and unrooted

Exclude app from "clear all" on Recent Apps screen after 2016-03-15 OTA update?
On the 2016-03-15 OTA update they added the "clear all" button to the Recent Apps screen. Unfortunately it also kills the Alarm Clock Xtreme process and the alarm no longer works.
Is there a way to exclude certain apps from being killed?

Same thing here! especially with whats app, i do a close all or swipe and it closes the foreground and background task, i just want foreground to be off. This cause me to not receive me notification UNTIL i open the app, i have no issues with this on my lg or galaxy. On the Blu there's a press and hold option on the recent apps, but when you hold it it just goes back to the previous screen. Am I missing something here? Ive had nothing but hell with the phone and especially with the 504 error, which they fixed, but that took WAY too long. And dont let me get started with customer support!
Update - Started seeing issue with 3rd party keyboards, i prefer swiftkey as my go to. And when i swipe the app close, after i have set my keyboard it constantly defaults. this was not present on the previous update. I thought the 504 error was bad but this cuts the cake. Very very frustrating!!! My workaround was to disable every keyboard even system to allow it to run. I guess the recent apps is broke, need to be corrected!

I have posted it before on another thread after install it . you can hold on clear buttom it i'll open process white list add any thing want to not close.
Me too i Started seeing issue with 3rd party keyboards, i always use swiftkey. But the dam keyboard set constantly to defaults after the update. Even worst some time the key board set to touchpal that i unable to get rid off, this was not present on the previous update.

I've got the problem that some of my apps running, for example familionet (a location sharing app in which someone can request your location), stop running in background. As I saw a possible solution somewhere, I tried opening up settings - battery - the specific app and turn on manual for all the options instead of automatically manage battery settings, but this doesn't seem to work.
Is this a known problem? Is there any solution for this problem? The Huawai P20 Lite is currently running Oreo 8.0, not rooted.

After wishing a good day, i need to ask about how to keep some service runing after pressing clear all from stock recent apps
So the problem here is after cleaning apps from stock recent apps some service crashes and cant restart again till reopening the app

Why not just stop using the "clear all" option, instead?
It is hard to say what might be causing this issue because you haven't provided any details about what kind of things you have added/changed/installed on your device. Are you rooted? Are you using apps that kill services to conserve RAM? Have you enabled any battery saver options? Are you using apps that keep background apps and services in a state of doze, sleep or deepsleep?
Details, we need details to understand what you've changed or added that could be causing this.
It might have something to do with other settings that you have setup on your device, settings such as the "don't keep activities" setting or some other setting or maybe it's some other app(s) that you have installed.

Yes iam rooted and using aosp extended custom rom android 9, so the problem i was facing was in parallel space app 64 support service that it crashes causing 2nd whats app notification error after using clear all from recent apps,, but after i have tried too many i found the solution for this issue is to exit from 2nd whats app using back button not home button so after using clear all from recent apps it still working and notifications works normally on realtime

Some crucial apps getting it's optimisation changed from [not optimised] to [optimised] -- other way too, as it is remembering some settings from past.
Alarm Clock [3rd party]
Syncthing [3rd party]
etc
Some 3rd party apps stay in [not optimised] mode, some change at some point and I do not know when exactly it happens. Most likely on reboot.
Pain in the ass to manage important apps that suppose to run.
Is that know problem?
Can I disable it completely?

Is anyone facing issues with the latest Google application.
Since the last two updates come on the Google application on my OnePlus 7 pro has been draining a lot of battery and making the phone slow. The latest update from 8th October fixed the issue of battery drainage. But there is persistent problem of the phone not waking up from the lock screen. Also it continues to be slow. Feel like there is something wrong with the Google Assistant application bundled in with the Google app.
For me the last update didn't solved nothig. Google contiue to drain battery. Uninstalling the updates of Google app fixes the issue but unchecking the "enable auto update" dont work. I have to keep uninstalling it.
