Network traffic monitor - Google Pixel 2 Questions & Answers

hi
i would like to monitor all the inbound traffic in and out of my phone.
does anyone have a tool I could use for this?
thanks

glasswire

Glaswire does not provide any details.
Is there an app which provides a log of any DNS/IP query at that level of logging?
Need to know what one of these apps is actually sending to who and what servers.
Have not been able to find anything which does not require root

Android proxy for use in testing

Hey all -
I apologize if this has been covered previously, but searches in the android forums here didn't produce results.
Is there a solution for viewing encrypted network traffic on Android? My colleagues and I use Charles Proxy to watch and alter encrypted traffic on iOS devices with relative ease, without having to involve an entire team of people to run some simple tests when we need to. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that solution works for Android, even if you have a proxy option in the device network configuration.
Does anyone have suggestions or links to existing documentation which would provide a solution to this testing scenario - or perhaps suggest a different approach, preferably one which would not involve coordinating with folks at another site?
Thanks for reading,
Sean

[Q] Bluetooth Network Project

Hello,
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for a Bluetooth Networking Project I'd like to do.
The ultimate goal:
- Having some sort of bluetooth app with root privileges, which, when walking past someone, would allow some sort of passive communication without the users authorisation nor involvement.
This is similar to the idea on the 3DS called "SpotPass":
(I would have posted the link, but I'm not allowed to)
I do not have much experience on the subject, but suppose it would involve having root permissions to access the bluetooth module, being able to broadcast a message (to other users of this application).
I'm not sure if this might involve creating a completely different driver.
The reason is actually to create a short-distanced-passive-communication application useful for getting short messages or announcements across, with the low power consumption of bluetooth (vs wifi).
If this kind of communication if not possible, could someone please explain why, or at least give me some sort of link with the reason.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Android Remote Statistics App

Hey guys,
Forgive me if this is not the proper forum location to post this.
I have a question about an android system information app. My company is looking at using a very locked down smartphone in the retail stores as a SIP phone over WiFi. Essentially these phones would only be good for wifi calling through our network. I have been able to lock the phone down pretty good but I am having a little bit of trouble finding an app that will monitor the phone and report statistics back to us (through a web browser or email). Basically we would need to remotely check the usage/stats but we don't really want to use something like airdroid or teamviewer as this would disrupt the users usage. Any ideas on a good app? I haven't been able to find anything and I know you guys are digital wizards..
Thanks in advance guys!

There also many network monitor apps on Play store.
Not sure about the feature you are looking for, such as blocking selected android devices from accessing the wifi network.
You may have to use the admin console of the wifi router (or the app of the wifi router's manufacturer) to achieve this.
You can try to ask in the General discussion > Networking forum.
Thank you
Thank you.

I'll look at the links you wrote.

If you don't find what you are looking for, just ask in the network forum I linked in my previous answer.
