Is update 11.0.6.0.8 on oxygen updater? - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

I just downgraded this weekend due to the lagging video problem with the previous update and today saw posts online about a hot fix. Since I'm at at the previous stable build I can't see if the newest update is there without taking the 11.0.6.7 update first.

If you're looking for the global ROM, then no... OnePlus has been crazy slow to release any full firmware file for the global ROM for some reason...being much quicker to release EU firmware. I think we'll be waiting for some time.

The screenshot attached shows the most recent global ROM update Oxygen Updater has available.

My device was converted from T-Mobile to Global 11.0.5.6 and got the official OTA to 11.0.6.8 a few days ago, without Oxygen Updater. Re-locked bootloader and no root, if that matters.

[Download] LG V10 RS987 Update Available - RS98711a

So I saw a post a little bit ago suggesting that you could run Fiddler and choose "Update error recovery" in LG Bridge to find the link to your phones KDZ. I have not been able to find a download for my particular KDZ online so I thought I would try this out. I successfully found the link, but noticed it's a newer firmware than what I currently have! I am currently using RS98710a 5.1.1 and the download is for RS98711a. I canceled the download and tried the normal "Software Update" option in LG Bridge and sure enough there's an update available.

Possibly a MM update, or just bug fixes?
Download - RS98711a: http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FWC95LB552EKADPC0233TXM/RS98711a_02_0309.kdz
Looks like it's just bug fixes and patches. I've successfully updated to RS98711a and I'm still on 5.1.1

Downgrading to android 9 - is it possible?

I've got the android 10 beta update, but i need to downgrade back to 9, because an app, which i use for work isn't working under the new system. I've downloaded, the oficial android 9 build from oneplus's site, and was about to use the local upgrade function, but it shows this message.

. I'd like to avoid to install custom recovery and custom rom, if possible.
Thanks!

the fastest way back with data loss is to msm the phone back to 9.
Go in the oneplus community beta thread and you will find the correct rom to downgrade.
you can but i twill wiped all of ur data. go to the oxygenos android q beta's thread on oneplus community. there's an instruction there.
It is basically a downgrade package which is installed using local upgrade.
Doesnt Format everything on TWRP and then the PIE works?
Whats the difficulty?

[Q] Has anyone got a small new update?

Few moments ago I got patch 5 to improve 3rd party apps compatability as described by the updater...
I attached the before and after. I wonder if this update will impact system performance as we know phone makers are sly and want us to keep changing phones [emoji19]
Any ideas what is coocked behind the scene?

I didn't have SIM card in the phone for 9 months and did not receive any OTA (checked also from HiSuite)
Now, put my SIM in and almost immediately received that patch05 for b252 - and no problem (fingerprint, everything ok)
But I'm not receiving OTA for b275, checked also from HiSuite

Will flashing the latest Android 13 image and just restoring to factory settings work? I currently have the last version of Android 11.

Question MIUI Update problems

Hello all,
Trying to manually update an X3 PRO, but I keep running into errors.
Looking a bit deeper, there seems to be something fishy about the phone's configuration. On one hand, the phone seems to be the global version (model M2102J20SG), on the other hand the software seems to be the EU version - V13.0.4.0.SJUEUXM (and I see here that it's beta??? - https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/vayu/)

I have not messed with the phone in any way, all updates until now were installed OTA, no manual/fishy updates.
I tried manually installing V14.0.2.0.TJUEUXM and V14.0.1.0.TJUEUXM and I get an error "Sorry, flash to this stable version is not allowed".
V14.0.3.0.TJUMIXM gives me the "Couldn't verify update package. Update via USB instead"
So I'm stumped. Any help here?
Another odd fact is that when clicking the *Download latest package" from the phone I always get this error:
