Hello all,
Trying to manually update an X3 PRO, but I keep running into errors.
Looking a bit deeper, there seems to be something fishy about the phone's configuration. On one hand, the phone seems to be the global version (model M2102J20SG), on the other hand the software seems to be the EU version - V13.0.4.0.SJUEUXM (and I see here that it's beta??? - https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/vayu/)

I have not messed with the phone in any way, all updates until now were installed OTA, no manual/fishy updates.
I tried manually installing V14.0.2.0.TJUEUXM and V14.0.1.0.TJUEUXM and I get an error "Sorry, flash to this stable version is not allowed".
V14.0.3.0.TJUMIXM gives me the "Couldn't verify update package. Update via USB instead"
So I'm stumped. Any help here?
Another odd fact is that when clicking the *Download latest package" from the phone I always get this error:
Same problem!! Anything? Help?!

Sorry but no can do pal... Was to lazy to get out of the bed and turn on my pc to copy the OTA file b4 the update so I just took a screenshot, updated and posted here the screen
No updates yet for me.
However from the changelist from the screenshot it doesn't look like it's changing anything but an issue for Orange Poland's cellular network
FW version: 4.14.401.1 (78MB)
Android version 4.4.2 with Sense 6
Update zip name: OTA_M4_UL_K44_SENSE60_MR_HTC_Europe_4.14.401.1-4.09.401.3_release_387447.zip
You can download the OTA update zip from here.
So I saw a post a little bit ago suggesting that you could run Fiddler and choose "Update error recovery" in LG Bridge to find the link to your phones KDZ. I have not been able to find a download for my particular KDZ online so I thought I would try this out. I successfully found the link, but noticed it's a newer firmware than what I currently have! I am currently using RS98710a 5.1.1 and the download is for RS98711a. I canceled the download and tried the normal "Software Update" option in LG Bridge and sure enough there's an update available.

Possibly a MM update, or just bug fixes?
Download - RS98711a: http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FWC95LB552EKADPC0233TXM/RS98711a_02_0309.kdz
Looks like it's just bug fixes and patches. I've successfully updated to RS98711a and I'm still on 5.1.1

What about MM for this model. All updates are lollipop. Where is MM kdz please???
FRD-L04, B392, rooted w/ Magisk v16.0
I go to the system updates tab in settings, download the update (B395, but pushing updates from Firmware Finder has the same effect) and tap update. It goes to the EMUI recovery mode (used to have TWRP, replaced it for updating purposes), and almost immediately goes to 5%, where it stops and says "Software install failed" with "Failed to check the update files. Please download the update again." I then reboot, EMUI usually complains about a failed update and prompts me to do it again, and if I try to do so the process repeats.
This issue has existed for a while now and I just haven't really cared enough to fix it, but with Oreo starting to come out, I'd very much like to be able to actually receive the update. If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Not my phone or my picture, but this is the same screen I get (source of this image is from a different context):

Worked flawlessly. I now feel like a moron for not trying that earlier. Thanks
Hi everyone.
I would like to get some help (i'll try to describe with my bad english xD)
I bought it less than a year and i downgrade it because i installed the GMS, some apps didn't worked and i format my phone and use it without GMS (everything good at this time), i was waiting for the EMUI11 Update but I have not received the update yet. I've read some post and they said that i have to downgrade to my base firmware to get the "normal" updates but how do i know what's my base firmware version?
This is a little information of my device:
Huawei P40 Pro
Base Software Version: ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131
Cust Software V: ELS-N04-CUST 10.1.0.7 (C605)
I hope somebody can help me with this
Regards.

Thank you very much @popoyaya I'll try, with that way and see what happens.

I guess you will need to download and flash another firmware then. Are you sure you flashed the correct version for your region before?
Hi all, just wandering if you have any suggestion to update my phones firmware. I tried to download the 2 firmware from website (https://rog.asus.com/phones/rog-phone-5-model/helpdesk_bios/) but both seem to dont work.
Current version: see image

Will flashing the latest Android 13 image and just restoring to factory settings work? I currently have the last version of Android 11.
