Hi, I just switched recently from my Note 10 Plus (on Android 11) to a Note 20 Ultra (also on Android 11) and in both cases I am experiencing two issues:
1.) Screen randomly freezing no sensitiveness to gestures...device automatically refreshing the home screen and everything is working fine again
2.) gestures in general to me appear less sensitive
Anybody else experiencing this issue? As this happened on both devices since I switched to UI3.0 I am suspecting it is a general Samsung issue.
are you using 3rd party launcher? it could be an app running causing issues

Hi all,
after upgrading to Lollipop, I have been experiencing a few "glitches" with the screen orientation a couple of times. Even though I've been holding my phone pretty straight upwards, the screen suddenly starts to rotate to landscape mode. Is there a way to recalibrate the gyroscopes (if they are responsible for that)? EDIT: OK, seems that it is actually the accelerometer...
The phone is stock unrooted, only thing is that I am running Nova launcher, could that be an issue? Has anybody else seen this?
Anyone having the same issue and have found a solution?
Phone suddenly stuck at some instances even with non-extensive usage.
Yesterday I was only using Facebook app. When messenger bubble pop up, my phone suddenly spiked. Moved once and then it got stuck already. You'll notice that it's not Facebook app only that's not functioning since nav. buttons are also stuck. You can't go press home and clear recent apps/hibernate apps. Power and volume buttons are also not functional.
So I assume the main system crashed. I only did a long press on power button to restart.
I installed Franco kernel r73, and thought that issue would only occur with stock kernel.
However, it occurred again today, I was viewing photos in Stock Photos app. I haven't started viewing the first 10 images yet, so memory should not be consuming that much. I turned on the auto rotate to view the image larger. When I turned the phone landscape, it reacted like it's about to rotate. And suddenly it got stuck. This time, power button is functional. It turns the screen on and off but it still turns to the same stuck screen, not the lock screen.
I've been experiencing this since 5.0.1. and almost everyday since I updated to 5.1.
I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue on my unit since mine is already about 1 year and a half old. I don't want to buy another phone yet!
Or is this a common issue nowadays due to Lollipop upgrade. If so, then could you provide temporary fix before they update this on 5.1.1.

I've seen this behavior on my Nexus 5 only on 5.1, and I'm pretty sure, it was introduced with that specific lollibug version. It's really annoying, that you have to reboot the phone every two or three days to avoid the freezes.
There's already in issue for that, it has got the ID 161032.
Since upgrading to Nougat from MM on a couple of devices (Nexus 5 & Oneplus 3T) using the exact same apps and setup I've had most of my apps randomly force closing or not launching after 24 hours.
From my understanding the Doze feature on Nougat might be the cause and hence I've updated the apps when an update was available. But the problem persists. A reboot or app re install solves the issue but it comes back again.
I'm now back on Lineage 13 on the N5 with absolutely no issues.

this issue is related to Xposed.
I've been having strange issues with memory management using the XZP. I use Spotify, YouTube and Shuttle+ for playing media in the background, and several times a day the app just closes without warning. This happens with the screen off most of the time, but occasionally it happens with the screen on as well.
The thing that confuses me the most about this, is that this has happened with various ROMs I've used on the phone, not just one. I've had the issue with stock Oreo, unchanged AOSP and CarbonROM (which is AOSP-based). I believe the only software I've used without the issue cropping up is the original Nougat software that came with the phone when I bought it.
Anyone else had any similar problems? Or is there a fix i just haven't tried yet?
Hi folks. Love the phone but when I'm scrolling down a weboage or Tumblr my phone will suddenly scroll a long way, or scroll back up the page when I was going down previously. Done it since new. I am running the same apps as on my Note 8 and that phone didn't exhibit this scrolling issue.
Any ideas and does anyone else have this problem? I have wiped the cache partiton.
