Check your apps, see if any of them have large caches. Cache storage counts as system. Things like Photos can get pretty big.

this never happened before I recently changed my ROM. I tried wiping the dalvik but that was no help. Do I need to wipe the cache also? Could anyone help me out?
I've gotten that when I've accidentally restored an app's data without the app itself, then tried to install the app. Go into /data/app and delete the app's corresponding data folder. That might work.

Thank you so much this fixed everything!!!

[Q] Internal Storage Issues

I recently bought a 16gb microSD and moved all my music to it. This freed up some space in my internal storage. I then rooted my GS3 and started flashing a few different ROMS. When I checked out my storage, this is what I saw. Imagine it's because of partitions or something of that nature, but how do I only have just over 2 GB available with relatively little space being used, and how might I free up some of that space?

I backed everything up, booted into recovery, formatted the internal sd, rebooted, and I've got my storage back. 11+ gb. Thanks,

100+GB of cache!?!?!?

Anyone else seeing 100+gb of cache in Smart Cleaning and/or ccleaner?

What are you using? Any car program...or games? That's a crazy amount of space being used. Can't you open it up and see where it's coming from?
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Free mobile app
No. I flashed stock and started over. If it starts again I'll let everyone know.
No need to buy a SD card when you can just to a cleanup and get 100gb of space! LOL

Looking to buy a Honor 6, a question regarding SD

Hey, i am looking to buy this week a Honor 6, just a question to whoever can answer. Is it possible to have in the unrooted version of the phone, a game or an app fully on SD? As in my Z2 you can't (at least in the unrooted version). I am asking this to see if it's crucial to find a 32GB version of the phone, or a 16GB will be ok too.
Ty in advance
The stock app manager allows you to move an app to SD, see:

No idea whether it moves all of the files though.

Ty for the reply,
But it moves everything or just a portion of the size? In Z2 there is a button like this, but when i have a game 2GB, it doesn't move it all together, but just a portion.

Need help cleaning space

So, I have had the moto g7 power for a year now and something I've noticed is that the system space has been increasing, I've cleaned the caches of everything I could and compressed my photos but the system size has increased from 12 gbs to 18 gbs. Anyone know how to fix this without resetting the phone?
