Hello, before UI3.0, when I cut or modify a photo, the Gallery App creates a NEW photo and leave the old one at the same place. But not now.
Where is the old photo now after modifing?
Not in the Trash...
Sorry for my english.
Tnx
now you have to specify to save a copy u under ... when editing. otherwise it just saves over the original

Okay before you get all up in arms, not for dirty photos. I figure I could download photovault, but I'd really rather not, as it's not too huge of a deal.
Basically, I have a bunch of icons on my phone for use on my desktop, but I don't particularly like when I have to pick a photo for a contact or for a frame, having to scroll through my hundred or so icons.
I guess what I'm asking is has anyone found a way to hide certain folders from the gallery? Or, does anyone know how to make an icon pack, for dxtop, better home?
: )
Thanks
rename the folder to have a . in front of the name. This hides files in linux.

Yea, it should have been "blk". jk, but yea, just add a . the beginning of the folder.
When I tried to rename my folder, Vista wouldn't let me. It said, "must have a valid filename" or something like that...
any help?
Download a file manager off the market, i rpefer astro and just rename it through your phone

LOL! Yeah, most us folks in the south are still a little sensitive about that and with good reason.
Only one issue with the period method. Ironically your phone will be a little *****y. When you do this, existing icons will be hidden from gallery and still work. Just remember to put NEW icons in download or some other folder to set them, then move them to the hidden folder. Icon and other picture selection screens use the gallery program to display that image selection screen. In other words, if you put new pictures directly in a hidden folder, you cant set them as icons.
There are also some apps on the Market that will create a protected area for pictures that can't be seen by the Pictures app. And yeah, I assume this would be used for your porn collection rather than your icons.

The "stock" photo editor that comes with the One is actually the Google+ photo editor.

By far the best editor is Photo Editor
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iudesk.android.photo.editor
I have been using it for 3 months and still discover some of its capabilities.
It is really easy to use though, you can start doing basic editing very quickly.
It also has batch functions where you can edit (eg: resize, change format, replace colors with presets, add watermarsks, etc) a whole bunch of photos in just a few clicks.
Find in Google Play:
Photo Gallery & Editor
But I dont know how to move a photo in the Gallery from one album to a different album in android 7. When I long press the photo, there is no option to copy or move. When I click the 3 vertical dots, there is a move option, then it asks me to select which album I want to move. I dont want to move an album, I want to move a photo. I have the V20...
Can anyone let me know what i'm doing wrong? This should be so simple.

On LG, its called File Manager... and is that the only way? i mean, you used to be able to simply do it from the Gallery without having to open any alternative apps. This is my first LG, I've always used the gallery to moved photos with Samsung Note 2-7.
Which device are you using, there are so many, file/pic manager apps out there, Aviary is my personal favorite. You should give them a try.

Hi guys, can anyone tell me what does the setting located immediately under the QR scan setting? All this inside Camera app settings. In English should say something like "Save the original picture too" (I have my phone in Spanish). I have this activated, but no idea what it suppose to do. Thanks!
Hmm for example u edited a photo I think it will save the original photo just if u mess up.

I understand, so it seems more like a gallery setting than a camera one. I will try this to be sure. Thanks
