I want to root my device but I've got no experience doing it, and I don't want to brick it or something so please help
Hi Mujahid, you need to follow the below steps to root your device:
Install Samsung USB Driver on your PC
Download root package on your PC
switch off your Device
Boot your device into download mode
Launch Odin Tool
Connect your device to PC (your device should be into download mode).
browse and add Root.tar files
finally hit the start button to begin the rooting process.

You can google to download these files or browse on XDA Developers forum for your specific device model.

tried all method for rooting but didnt get sucess my lg have gingerbird 2.3.4 i cant root it in any way always giving error are you root?

I rooted my LG-C660 by LG Esteem:
1.- You need to install the phone USB drivers (They are usually in the SD Card when they are new).
2.- If your pc has Windows 7, restart it, press f8 when starting and choose the "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" option. Your pc will load normally. (If you don't have windows 7 just skip this step).
3.- When the computer is ready, put the phone in USB depuration mode (Settings-> apps -> Development). Connect it to the USB port and be sure your computer recognize it well.
4.- Download LG Esteem. I can't post the URL but go to google and paste this "LG_Esteem_Root.zip mediafire" , you will find it in the first link.
5.- Unzip and run "Run.bat". The program will start. Just follow the on-screen instructions and after seconds it will be rebooted. After this, your phone it's going to be rooted and you will find the Superuser app.
Try it, hope it helps you.

It helped my friend's phone removing some stock apps that he never uses. The next step will be the solution to the lack of ram, but that will be another story. A new custom rom maybe...or a new phone.

Download latest framaroot.apk version from here .

How to Root using the recovery method
Requirements
SP flash tools
Mtk VCOM drivers (preloader drivers)
ADB driver
USB Cable
Mtk6572 Scatter
Recovery of your choice
SuperSu zip
Android phone of course
Working brain
Download the SP flash tools and Mtk VCOM drivers and extract them to desktop.
Install the Mtk VCOM drivers.
Download the scatter file and place also on the desktop.
Download the SuperSu.zip and place it on the sdcard or internal storage.
Download the recovery of your choice and place it on your desktop
Open the folder with SP flash tools and run flash_tool as administrator
Select the scatter file by clicking on scatter loading
Check the recovery check box and click on location and select the recovery of your choice.
Turn off your phone.
Connect the usb cable to the computer but don't connect the phone as yet.
Click on the download button on the SP flash tool and then connect your phone to the computer.
Wait for it to flash and then reboot into recovery using adb commands once the phone has booted up.
Once the phone is in recovery select install zip from sdcard and locate the SuperSU.zip.
Reboot and there you go root access
To Enable USB Debugging.
1. Go to settings and about phone
2. Tap the build number 7 times to enable development mode.
3. Go back and then go in development mode.
4. Enable USB debugging.
I have Lenovo A6000 and I want to root it to increase the internal RAM but if I did so does the phone still get future updates from Lenovo ?

You will not receive updates, you have to update it for yourself
here's the rooting guide
If you have PC follow these:
Try to download "kingo android" in your pc
Make sure you have the right drivers for your phone
then connect your device to pc via USB cable
open kingo android and start
If you dont have a pc and you have recovery mode in your device follow these:
search this: root (your device name) .zip file
and if you are successful put that zip file on root folder(the folder you see when you open your built-in file manager)
switch your phone to recovery mode
volume up, volume down, and menu button are the controls
navigate it to "apply update from sd card"
then choose your the zip file
If you dont have a pc and dont have a recovery mode follow these:
download "framaroot" "rootmaster" all apk

Hi, i rooted my device h955 with rootedsystem.img EasyRoot method
And i find a problem and want to unroot so i use the option full unroot from supersu uninstall it and factory reset
After open i saw supersu and open it and don't work so uninstall again and want to flash a stock firmware with lg flash tool 2014 but i can't because i connect USB from pc to phone and it.s on slowly charge and can't change it from notification , tried with USB debugging mode ON/OFF didn't work and can't do anything if USB can't connect, what can i do?? please help me

Creation and Installation of Custom Recovery is quite easy for Mediatek users In this thread I'll not be explaining how to flash but will tell you the method to create so Come with me :
REQUIREMENTS :
ROOTED MEDIATEK PHONE
USB DEBUGGING ENABLED
BUSY BOX INSTALLED
USB VCOM DRIVER INSTALLED
MTK DROID TOOL INSTALLED
STEPS :
Connect*your Android device to the computer .
make sure all driver is installed and*USB Debugging in enabled.
Open MTK Droid Tools.exe*(run as administrator) and wait for a few seconds it will show you all the information about your Device.
Click on*ROOT*button (right bottom side) and Give the Root permission and other adb permission(if asked) in your phone.Go to*root, backup, recovery tab,* click on "To Use Boot From Phone".
Follow the instructions on the screen.
At last, allow it to install recovery automatically on your phone. your phone will be booted into recovery mode automatically.
