We have a popup window available for S Memo by double-taping S Pen. But, is it possible to change this to an S Note popup like on the Note 2?
I doubt the existing S-Note application supports this float note sort of feature.. We would need the S-note apk from Samsung Galaxy Note II

Really want someone to port it. Don't want to waste money on a new device where, besides the better S Planner and S Note, I don't think it much better than its original.

It's only a matter of time, only wait for the Note 2 to become available .

IMO in new note there is hardware part which like a small push button inside SPen holder so when we remove the SPen that indicates that pen is removed from the phone. By this way only its possible for new note to recognize spen is removed and using this method and accelerometer it identifies spen is left behind, so im afraid that we the Note1 people will get this feature with jellybean.

S Memo Lite is different from S Note Popup. S Note Popup lets you move the box around the screen.
Just found a thread in N7000 forum with the app extracted from Note3: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2444504. Checked, it works on N5100.
Awesome. Works on the N5110 also.
Is there a difference between this version a the SketchbookPro for Note available on Samsung Apps?

could be the same - I have no idea - due to my exceptional and outstanding lack of any graphical skills the app is already uninstalled, just thought I'll share it, seeing quite an interest in graphic apps here...

functionally they seem to be the same. there are some ui differences that can speed up usage (or slow you down depending on your usage needs). the dropdowns are a bit smaller and more "pen frielndly" , but they've also moved some of the tools into a dropdown. either would be fine as i don't see the changes are "magical" and not really essential, but i think the samsung version is a bit more style.
ive seen other note 20 ultra on youtube and their keyboard isnt like mine. note 10+ samsung keyboard is version 5.0.30.5 and note 20 ultra is version 5.1.00.69, can i just downgrade?
Oh snap. I don't like the new one at all.
In keyboard there may be ways to modify it.
Settings - General Management - Language and input - On-screen Keyboard - Samsung Keyboard - Style and layout - Keyboard Themes. Ready to go, play around and see what the best for you.

You can access it with the gear icon on the keyboard.
You may be able to dail it in.
Or use APKexport to grab the old keyboard apk off the 10+ and transfer it.
I feel your pain; I hate using foriegn keyboards and pads. I like the stock 10+ keypad...
I use GBoard, but just just swapped back to Samsung Keyboard to see what you were talking about. My Samsung keyboard on my Note 20 Ultra looks like your Note 10+ keyboard.

Maybe his initial settings were different?
The loaded theme effects the keyboard too.

It must some setting he changed. Here is my Note 10+ keyboard. The theme colors are different only because its the Star Wars Edition. The layout is identical to my Note 20 Ultra.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how the OP got his keyboard like that. I've gone through all my settings and can't find out how to add the "123" button he has.

There was a Microsoft Keyboard installed on my unlocked Note 20 Ultra from Samsung, just wondering if that might be the Microsoft keyboard. I deleted mine so can't check.

I think I've seen that before... don't want to see again on my note.
It's possible if it's a carrier variant they mucked with the software or settings.
Or it learned a new trick on it's own.
My Edge tab just learned to jump from left to right... whatever, put it back.

No I just checked and the Microsoft Keyboard doesn't look like that. It looks like he is using the Samsung Keyboard.

He could try using the reset option in the keyboard settings or clearing the app data if that fails.
As always clearing the system cache can work miracles...
Not sure how it got there

Note 10+ is 5.0.30.3
Note 20 Ultra is 5.1.00.69
Both are US Unlocked Snapdragons using the English QWERTY layout.

Your note 20 ultra version is same as mine, so maybe its a exynos thing then? Most youtuber are most likely using snapdragon version.

As much as I doubt the processor would affect it, that does seem to be the only difference between our units. So that may be it, just not sure WHY that would affect it.

Are you on snapdragon or exynos? My note 10+ is fine, but note 20 ultra has that 123 button and the alternative is different too.

I can't find S Note in the Samsung store.. i totally rely on S Note for work. Samsung Note is not as capable. I've had to side load it, but why is it not available for Note 20 Ultra.

Yes that's what i did.. I'd just rather not have to. The extra features that you can download in S Note settings won't download now aswell.. it keeps saying not compatible with my device. It's so annoying of Samsung.

It's the older S Note by Samsung, not the current Samsung Notes. It's alot more useful.

There's no way i can see when cropping an image, or doing it free hand, crop any part the S Pen touches. And there is no shape menu. I like using the shapes in the Other menu in S Note when your add an image.. it's just alot more flexible and useful with S Note.

Yes it's more than annoying. Had to pain stakingly cut and paste all the memos I had on my S4+ to another format.
Never again will I trust this type of Sammy apk.
I use colornote now, still playing with it or I'll create a word document instead.
I miss the ease of rich text docs in Windows...

I'll check it out.. the integration with the Note Phones, the S Pen and S Note is such a good formula.. these companies have to be constantly changing things, trying to maximise profit and customer retention... Ruining efficient work flows, trying to create the next big thing... and even when they create the next big thing: they can't let it be good for long. Only Apple seems to keep things on an even level.. but their way of doing things is just not the best way in the first place.

ColorNote stores them as encrypted word docs apparently.
At least you have easy access to the folder to transfer them. It also maintains an internet connection which I don't like...
Anyone found anything better?

Not to sound ironic but my faith in Google apps is very limited.
I remember the Picasso nightmare...
This is my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, and my question is:
Is this thread for my tablet as well? I didn't find a thread that match my model.
hmmm.....have 4/64 and 6/128 5G versions and both have only one front camera
Other than that, would say yes. But as there are some HW differences, obviously some things would not relate to some models. Then again, considering the trend of having 84385 variants of the same crap, would be ridiculous to have 8484 subforums for each and every one of them of them.

When you say 2 cameras, do you mean the 2 levels of zoom you see in the camera app ? That's just digital zoom,
Its the Inware System Information App, that say i have 2 front cameras. I have found out that this information is false. This Inware app give false information about the camera.
