Did it work for you

Hidden TMO Band service menu.

All the digging I have been doing working on the unlock I came accross this service menu.I have not seen it poasted anywhere yet online. I don't know if this can help yet in anyway to get sim unlock but it does let you unlock different LTE bands and many more. Try it out on stock rom. *#*#866#*#*
And it's not even a 5g model
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm very cool find!!!!!
Indeed.
Now, what can we unlock safely?

There is no 5G radio in the device. The software for it, if there was a 5G radio, is built in to Android.
I cant get into the app with that code
it doesnt load anything
The code will only work on stock T-Mobile rom. And NO it will not activate 5g if there is no hardware.
Here more info I pulled

Can I flash 9R's OOS on 8T?

Does anyone try it?
Why would you try this?
You can go ahead and try it, and see what happens. Just MSM back if it breaks.

I want to change 8t's 865 cpu to 9r's 870,9r's board seems same as 8t.
Uh, it's just a better binned SD865, but it's technically different hardware... Perhaps you just want to overclock your device?

Sure, konabess app only overclock gpu,but it seems have no method to overclock cpu.
I used to flash the Redmi K20Pro Premium Edition (855Plus) to K20Pro (855) and it works perfect, so I think the 865's is the same as 870.

Well, you can certainly give it a try. Certain partitions might be named differently, so watch out for that.
