use at your own risk
based on stock kernel
rootable with SuperSU v2.52 ("classic" root, no systemless)
forceencrypt disabled
DOWNLOAD
(old versions in download tab)
for devs, here's what I've changed:
ramdisk/sepolicy: replaced
ramdisk/fstab.bullhead: changed "forceencrypt" to "encryptable"
ramdisk/fstab.bullhead: removed "verify=/dev/block/platform/soc.0/f9824900.sdhci/by-name/metadata" x 2 to prevent "your device is corrupt" boot red alert
Thanks @Chainfire, @osm0sis

At 99% no. The device will boot with the orange alert ("can't verify") if can help.
I think I have to start from systemless version from Chainfire but:
• I don't have Android Pay in my country (don't need and can't test)
• if you root usually you want to modify the system in a way or in other and you will lose the integrity anyway for what I've read

I think if you start from systemless it should be fine? I don't think your kernel changes should affect the system partition, which is all SafetyNet checks for.
will this work on MDB08L?
don't know, but why don't update to last version?
this project will become useless soon

The new automated kernel patcher for 6.0 firmwares (and 5.1.1 firmwares?) is almost ready. Hopefully a new release tomorrow.

Can i flash this and decrypt, then flash elementalx while keeping decryption?
if you want to go with elementalx, why you need this one?
thread updated with mmb29k version.
chainfire's auto-patcher (supersu 2.60) is out, but I choose to mantain this mod because I want to be (100%?) sure that my device never boot with a forceencrypt kernel resulting in automatically encode my data
Thanks. It's hard for me to follow the SuperSU thread. Most of it is talk of systemless root which I don't really care about since I like to use adblockers and delete all sorts of system apps. With this I know I can just use the old classic root method which is really easy.

This is totally irrelevant. Systemless root is just as capable as the old rooting method. You should try following the thread then perhaps you would have picked up that systemless root is just like normal root.
You may encounter very few apps that wont work because of poor coding where the developer has hardcoded where to look for the su binary.
Seems to work fine for me, this is exactly what i searched, stock kernel, but without encryption! Thank you!
What command for flash this kernel?
bootloader, recovery, boot, system, vendor ??
Sorry for stupid question.
fastboot flash boot "name of kernel".img

You're quick. Thank you.
What's the procedure to flash mhc19j with this modified boot.bin but keep user files?
I have emui 3.0 on KitKat and have tried several build.prop edits and still can't disable it. I'm wanting to install a later version of xposed without disable reside hook since it's disabled app settings module. Can anyone help me out on this one.
Dear All,
I knew that MM has a feature called RRO which use can use layers to change UI. Is there any way to install layers manager without root since our MM no way to root now.
On android 7.0 so I can't use XPosed. Currently need something along the lines of FakeGApps for microg. Alternatively, any viable way I can enable Signature Spoofing would be fine.
The only options you have, to my knowledge are as follow :
By patching your current rom with ,Haystackl, Needle or Tingel;
by using a signatur spoofing enabled Rom like Carbon Rom or Lineage OS with microg.
By far the most easy methode for signatur spoofing is the microgpatcher.
Im new in this do have to install custom rom to use this modules to change the look of my system
