Hello Everyone!
It's been a while since i surf in here, just wanted to give a tutorial about how to install Xposed Framework in this Redmi Note 5, check this out ( do with your own risk! backup is a must, tested in the latest Pixel Experience ROM)
Before you proceed, you need to have Magisk installed and make sure its working in your device. Now lets install Xposed.
First Step:
- Download EdXposed Installer.apk and EdXposed Magisk zip module Here
- Download RiruCore Magisk zip Module Here
Second Step:
- First, install the EdXposed Installer first.
- Then, Flash the RiruCore magisk module.
- Lastly, Flash the EdXposed Magisk module then reboot.
Third Step:
- Open the EdXposed app and see if the status is green, that means the xposed framework is now working on your device, and you can proceed to download and install xposed module you want. (Note: this is still in beta, so that means not all Xposed Module will work 100%, install with caution or you can check in Here to see the list of what working and what not so far.)
-Enjoy.
Sorry if some of you already know on how to do this, i just wanted to share it with you guys, since i haven't see any of similar thread like this.
Have a good day, hope this one helps :good:
needy guide
Thanks for that...
But..

Tried this on my whyred running Pixel Experience Pie ROM. Worked as expected. Of the modules I tested, some are working fine, some aren't. GravityBox developer is working on a Pie release, waiting for that!
No Xposed Installer.APK in FP.
This is better instructions:
Try type in Google
Install Xposed Framework & Modules on Android 9.0 Pie naldotech

What do you mean no apk?
You're right. My fault. I just looked at version v0.2.9.9_beta2 and not on the older one below it.
and how do you uninstall now?

Just uninstall the magisk module first, then uninstall the xposed app
error en redmi note 4
I have tried in several ways and it does not install
it is a redmi note 4 with android 9 and miui 11
(EdXposedManager-4.5.5-45510-org.meowcat.edxposed.manager-release.apk
magisk-EdXposed-v0.2.9.6_beta-release.zip
magisk-riru-core-v11.zip
After updating I tried to flash TWRP to install magisk, but it failed. Then I found magisk patched boot image on xda and flashed it. Root works fine but the problem is my magisk modules are not working. I removed them and then again installed them but they doesn't seem to work.
Is it just me having this problem?
What to do?
No official TWRP for Android 10 yet. Android 10 just came out and a lot of developers have yet to update their modules. I would avoid TWRP and magisk for now
Magisk 20 works fine
Just be smart and don't use modules like audio mods and stuff for now
Things like FDE are updated, Vanced works, font changers will probably work, move certificates, call recorder, etc.
Hello,
I have Oneplus 7 rooted with TWRP and Magisk.
I'd like to find a way to enable HID feature on the stock kernel
without the need to install Nethunter.
I couldn't find a custom kernel with HID enabled.
Any resources on how to do it? or at least how to build my own custom kernel?
I wanted to install MIUI Notes app because it's so good as a notes app better than Google's for me. When I tried installing MIUI Notes app it said "App not installed".
System applications just can't install. Only do the Magisk module

Just download the magisk module for the MIUI framework? Will it affect my custom rom?
Sorry noob question
can I download magisk module and other modules on stock rom(without custom rom) ? If yes what are the cons of it ?
If you have bootloader open you can... Cons only if you don't know what you're doing. Obviously, to have magisk working you need to modify the boot.img file. Put the original boot file on the device install magisk APK, open magisk and go to install choose modify file point to boot and it will create a file with the modification pass to the PC and flash after that you will have root and functionality of the modules

Yes u can flash whatever modules you want, but beware if u install a wrong module (modules that tweak build prop) it will most likely give you bootloop and cause ur device to soft bricks. But theres a anti bootloop module if you search on google
