Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

I flashed lineage 16 over the top of my oos 10.3 installation, so on that basis i dont think it makes a difference.

Can we know why is the pocket mode disabled? Coz it breaks doze? It so, can we enable it somehow using magisk or xposed? I'm really missing it!

Flash OOS 10 on both slots. That's a minimum requirement before flashing any Android 10 Custom ROMs. Then flash using the instructions provided in OP. You'll be good to go!

From what I know the dualboot twrp can not yet decrypt android 11, so it is not possible to run it in a dual boot.
I had the same issue cause I tried to install dual boot withA11 and OxygenOS beta 18, and neither one of them work.
So I installed last stock stable OOS and is working in dualboot.

The Linage 18.0 was fine running without any Gapps on until I install this Gapps. It's froze and now I have to reflash it. OP, can you included Gapps in your package like Kang, and other Android 11 ROMs? That way, we wouldn't be confused where to download the Gapps for Android 11

Which package did you flash? Could you try the core package to see if that's working for you? Since it has the minimum apps required to run the playstore and any other google app won't conflict

Reflash it again and now working

Guys,
Its working perfectly, you're experiencing freeze because you're on trebuchet launcher and NikGapps ships pixel launcher that contains overlay that's conflicting with Trebuchet.
You can either skip installating PixelLauncher using nikgapps.config or go to settings -> default apps and set Pixel Launcher as default.

I am unable to boot this ROM on castor_windy. ROM will flash fine but I get the red LED flashing when I try to boot.

I upgraded to 18.1 from Lineage 17.1 after formatting in TWRP and flashing the recommended rom and gapps. Has anyone tried to root? Magisk 20.4 (which to my understanding is the only compatible root with Z2 stuff now) refused to flash in TWRP, so I then tried the latest magisk. Now I am stuck in a bootloop of the Sony Boot screen. I've attempted to reflash TWRP 3.4 and although it flashes successfully, the sony bootloop remains. Maybe time for a factory reset. Its been so long i don't even know where those recovery images are anymore.
EDIT: I forgot to thank @qsnc for support on this. Pretty unbelievable that this tablet is still kicking. Much appreciated.
EDIT2: Flashing the stock boot image from the rom has me booting again. Would still like some input on root possibilities from anyone out there.

@bacon612: Getting Magisk to work is a bit tricky on this device. Look at the bottom of the following discussion on github, it worked for me: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/issues/3636

Installation is possible, coming from AICP 15.0. I've done all wipes, but after restart only a blinking red led comes up.
Whats the problem? To have a working system back i flashed the boot.img from 15.0 and the recovery from twrp. Than I restored my backup....

I have flash magisk 21.4 does all the installation without errors in the reboot I do not have root permissions. Hope it can fix this bug. Thanks I apologize for the bad English.

Hi, the standard package of Magisk will not work. Check the GitHub link in Post #7, you will find a modified Magisk 22.1 package for Sony devices there.

Thanks for the advice. Reading everything no one speaks for xperia tablet castor_windy Lineage 18.1. I did some tests but with negative results. I also tried to rename magisk 22.1 in zip then flash with twrp 3.4.0 sc1 does all the installation without errors in restarting the tablet is as before without root precautions. It's a good fast rom and I wouldn't want to go back to 17.1 How can I solve? Thank you

Hi qsnc, I have just flashed the new ROM on my "windy" device and everything works fine. I am typing from a bluetooth keiyboard and I am using a bluetooth mouse. No issues with the installation. I will further test the image during the week.

Windy user here! On this build and the previous one, NFC and Android Beam are constantly and repeatedly switching on and off. Otherwise, I haven't noticed or experienced any other issues. Thanks.

Thank you, not using Bluetooth anyway.

TWRP won't boot after installing this room. I re-flashed TWRP and it gets stuck with a black screen. How do I flash Magisk and th Bluetooth patch? The rom runs lovely ignoring that really great job. The only way I found to boot into TWRP again is by flashing the stock rom again, and that's not the idea.

I am hopeful for more DeGoogled roms to come soon

Alll Android 12 Custom Roms broke TWRP, to install magisk you need to pacht it up and install it in fastboot, bluetooth patch is install by Magisk as module, I guess

Thanks, I have just patched magisk into my device and installed the Bluetooth patch. Although I found a couple more bugs. 1. Wifi sometimes disconnects and it doesn't matter if you turn it off then on, you have to restart the phone. 2.Bluetooth controllers pretty much won't work, only USB C controllers.

Instructions :
Download the latest build (without (Vanilla) or with gapps (GMS)), latest Firmware maybe other gapps (Mind or Nik) or Magsik
Reboot to fastboot
Flash latest recovery
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest Firmware, build, gapps, Magisk
Reboot
In case of problems, please do a clean installation. Back up your data in Android before. Reboot to recovery and wipe/format /data and /system. After that, install the image and other software and reboot.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

that's very nice, I was about to try it. Last time there was a problem with recovery and decryption, but I have heard that it was solved before twrp sorted it out.
what about recovery - does it decrypt data or do we have to use some special version?

Hi is it possible that we have a complete guidelines how to install this please? It has been a while sine I last have done this and need some help.

Very smooth and battery life seems to be good. Only annoying thing is that seedvault backup is constantly complaining about not being able to run a backup, even when you chose google as your backup provider.

Does gpay work correctly?

use magisk module universal safetyfix , hide magisk and use whitelist - works for me even for revolut

In my case, I can use bank's apps with this rom, but I cant use gpay even using magisk modules

Finally i can use bank's apps, but i can play pubg new state, anyone knows how can i hide root to the game

After flashing this ROM the folder names that I see in TWRP are encrypted and I'm not able to flash other ROM from recovery.
Is anyone facing similar issue? Maybe someone knows what can be done?

there is a modified recovery from Arian. Standard twrp doesn't decrypt data on Android 12

Meaning the standard twrp can't read the folders because it's Android 12?
Where can I find the modified recovery?

After flashing this rom, the bluetooth headset cannot use aptx adaptive. I have tried several A12 roms, but the A11 can be used. Is it not supported or what is the reason?
