Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

that's very nice, I was about to try it. Last time there was a problem with recovery and decryption, but I have heard that it was solved before twrp sorted it out.
what about recovery - does it decrypt data or do we have to use some special version?
Hi is it possible that we have a complete guidelines how to install this please? It has been a while sine I last have done this and need some help.
Very smooth and battery life seems to be good. Only annoying thing is that seedvault backup is constantly complaining about not being able to run a backup, even when you chose google as your backup provider.

Hi,
After flashing this ROM the folder names that I see in TWRP are encrypted and I'm not able to flash other ROM from recovery.
Is anyone facing similar issue? Maybe someone knows what can be done?

Thanks for the reply.
Meaning the standard twrp can't read the folders because it's Android 12?
Where can I find the modified recovery?
After flashing this rom, the bluetooth headset cannot use aptx adaptive. I have tried several A12 roms, but the A11 can be used. Is it not supported or what is the reason?

The latest build, which is the first one right now on this thread has some kind of bug for the sim card.
But this should be fixed in the next build because in the last build he gave us (which is not listed on this thread) sim card worked.
So you could wait for the next build for a fix.
Ill wait for next updatw then. Only few small questions for you. Except that only other supposed bug is camera recording right? Second question i install this rom with flashing it via twrp? Root addon same via twrp? Flash gapps via twrp? Which caches and those kind of things should be deleted?

Camera recording and maybe, just maybe your phone will not boot sometimes, just take the battery out and boot it again.
I am not sure if Stricted managed to fix that yet.
Install the Rom just like any other Rom with additional stuff afterwards like Gapps and Root .
Latest TWRP only!!
For Gapps you will have to use Unofficial because there is still no official Opengapps for 8.1.
Read the first page's post of mine, i posted a link to Unofficial gapps that work with this ROM.
For wiping: Cache, Dalvik, System, Data.
It is important to wipe all of this or you won't be able to boot.
"Data" partition does not include files like photos and music, those files are stored in the "Internal Storage" Partition.
You don't need to wipe Interal Storage
This ROM is still in testing phase so keep that in mind and report any issues if you like. It's been barely a month since Stricted started working on it.

If you can't flash it using recovery. i recommend using adb sideload for this purpose
It's been some years since I have flashed a custom rom. Do you still need to do the wipes? Or, Do you just flash over existing? currently on stock. Can you flash from external SD? I assume that would be needed if wiping is necessary.
i Just jumped right in on this. I'm getting an invalid zip file format error.
Any suggestions?
Try to re-download the zip if still getting the error. Try sideloading it from your pc

Nope.
NFC is working?
Please take note that ALL ROMs compiled for this device, Redmi 9C (angelica)/(garden) are having issues in calls. Low volume on calls (you can barely hear nor say anything)
Hi. Could you confirm how looks selinux status, offline charing and teathering?
Have you tried solve problem with issues related to calls? Is it related to some configuration ?
best regards,
Please tell me how to remove the navigation bar that appears after opening the keyboard?

not a rom bug, install g visual mod from magisk repository and configure it to immersive mode
I think it is not a rom bug, but I flashed the Open Gapps and it does not let me allow access to SMS in google play services
I would appreciate any help

Wow! It's perfect... I test on Redmi 9C angelica with stock 12.0.10 and PBRP recovery... I found me Hotspot, Wifi, Bluetooh perfect but the fingerprint to allow access on apps login like Bitwarden not found, it's strange but no open dialog to login with fingerprint. Help!...

Hello friend, Well, VoLTE I found me perfect.. . Better than MIUI I am in a place with little signal and I notice better functionality. I have tested a little but not completely, I notice a lot of lag in some applications for example when scrolling and the fingerprint problem

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Can this be sideloaded with the unofficial versions of lineage os 19.1?
This is great, thank you very much! And we don't need a clean flash, do we? Just firmware update and version upgrade and this is it?
@LuK1337 - thank you for keeping op7p alive! just wondered if you could confirm the inbaked firmware version (if any), that comes with 19.1 as so we know if new firmwares become available we will know the baseline for future upgrades?
Is anyone facing a slow wifi speed's. I following upgrade instructions (18.1 to 19.1). I am with last android 11 firmware 11.0.9.1 my device is GM1913. Can i upgrade firmware from Global version GM1911 ?

Does this support TWRP flashing/installation?

I've been using MindTheGapps and haven't had any issues. Even when I was using OpenGapps, I'd never install anything more than the nano package to get the minimum required Googleness. I'd then choose the Google apps I wanted individually instead of having them forced on me in a Gapps package.
Thanks for your moments and advice. Last time installed fresh I used Nik gapps and it never took me into the Google setup and it made the phone pretty much unusable.

I used to use OpenGapps, but they haven't been able to keep up with a stable Android 12 version (understandable; the team is only down to a few people now, and maybe just one guy). I use MindTheGapps because it's recommended by the LOS team, plus it's a bare-bones minimal package that only supplies core Google functionality, which I prefer nowadays. Last time I used NikGapps (a while back), it left things in something of an unstable state, so I've stayed away from it. (No knock on those who use it with no problems; this is just my own personal experience.)
I appreciate that observation.
