Hello there. I have a T-Mobile Oneplus 7 Pro that I converted to international via this guide. After using that for a few months I decided it was time to root and flash LineageOS. Still following the original guide linked, I attempted to perform root and TWRP. Once I had oem unlocked the device, and after trying to boot boot_patched.img, I am stuck in fastboot mode. Choosing START, Recovery Mode, Poweroff, and Reboot Bootloader, all send me back to the fastboot page with those options listed. Trying to reboot via fastboot on a command line does the same, so does trying to boot boot_stock.img. I will list additional information below.
Oneplus 7 Pro
T-Mobile(converted to international)
256GB
Running Android Q preview 3
I do belive this is only happening because I was running this unstable preview.
Any information/tips/guides/links helps.

you have 3 options to choose from. 1. in fastboot mode just change to other slot "fastboot --set-active=a" or b. 2. in fastboot mode flash a fastboot rom like https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-7-pro-t3931424 3. the get me out of f***** mode msm tool here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/op7pro-collection-unbrick-tools-t3956595. make a choose and remember, NEVER delete system, vender, and efs. that will lead to very bad times.

Hey guys new to xda and rooting, I've rooted in the past but on older easier phones. I'm trying to flash twrp on my op6t and when I run fastboot boot twrp.img the phone changes to fastboot screen and stays there untill I force restart. I am using abd 1.43 and I am running Android 10.3.7 T-Mobile converted to international oem unlock. I've tried newest official twrp.img and I've tried an unofficial one I found linked in another thread that was said to work better with Android 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
It's been a long time sin e I've rooted a phone. I was Excited to have the opportunity to with the one plus 7 pro, however, I cannot find anything on how to root the 1917 version. I bought this one off of Swappa thinking it would be the easier one to root, but it appears I was wrong. Is there a way to root 1917 on Android 11??

Rooting procedure for me
Have a working adb and fastboot installed on pc
Turn on Dev settings in phone
Tick oem unlock and adb in dev settings
Reboot phone into bootloader
Issue fastboot cmd from computer to unlock bootloader. Wipes everything,, ( Fastboot oem unlock)
Reboot ,,enter dev settings again, tick adb
Reboot into bootloader
I myself prefer installing a patched boot image by way of fastboot cmd ,no messing with twrp , but you can boot into twrp (nebrassy twrp) then either install twrp, reboot then install magisk via twrp install or twrp adb sideload
This is just my way , I may have missed a few small details I would make sure u have a working plan B ( a working msm recovery)to fall back on incase stuff goes south,
Hth,,
Have you tried following these steps? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-android-9-10-7-7pro-unlock-twrp-root-and-update.3940368/
Hello community,
I kind of ruined my phone into this CrashDump Mode state. Which prevents me from using my phone at all. I'm pretty sure it is 'bricked.
I hope someone could give me some guidance to fix my phone again.
What do I want:
I wish to have the original OxygenOS back on my phone (stock).
What caused the problem:
My goal was to root my phone by unlocking the bootloader, installing Magisk and flashing the ROM from Magisk. Unfortunately, after doing all of this successfully there were some issues. One of them being slow restarts. It could take up to 20 minutes for the phone to start. Other than that it made the phone quite unusable as the media sound didn't work neither did the wifi and microphone. Making me unable to listen to anything but also couldn't make calls. For that reason I decided to unroot the phone again. I used the in-app Magisk full uninstall button to do so. After doing this, the phone didn't boot anymore. It was stuck at the boot loader unlock warning screen. So I figured I had to flash my latest version of OxygenOS on the phone. I grabbed a guide to do this manually on the XDA forums. However, this was a guide for Android 10 I believe. So it didn't seem to flash all the image files I saw listed after doing the payload extractor. This resulted in my phone booting up to the CrashDump Mode. As there were no guides for the version 11.0.5.1, I decided to use a tool listed here on the forums: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ck-twrp-factory-image-stock-recovery.3358711/ However, this is only for version 10 instead of 11. This also didn't seem to work.
Steps done:
Unlocked bootloader:
- Basically by just using: "fastboot oem unlock"
This went successfully.
Rooted the phone:
- Installed Magisk and my boot.img on my phone.
- Created an .img with Magisk.
- Ported the created .img to my pc.
- rooted the phone with fastboot by flashing the .img on my phone for boot_a and boot_b
This went successfully, the phone was rooted.
Unrooting and stock recovery:
- Used the uninstall button within the Magisk app on the phone.
- Tried to manually flash the OxygenOS version 11.0.5.1 on my phone. Note: only a few images were then as they were the only ones listed in a guide.
- Tried the tool listed above.
This all failed.

This is how I go back to stock
You can use MSM tool to revert OOS, or you can try this step:
1. Reboot twrp/lineage recovery, format data. Reboot bootloader
2. Fastboot boot into TWRP FBEv2
3. Sideload official TWRP 3.5.2.9-0 installer (found on TWRP website). Reboot recovery
4. Copy OOS 11.zip to internal storage or otg drive. Flash OOS 11.zip. Reboot recovery again
5. Format data in OOS stock recovery & Reboot
6. After boot into OOS 11, just local upgrade rom .zip again, you will have OOS on both slots
In your case skip to number 2 and after booting to TWRP then format data then install twrp

Hey,
Thanks for your reply! I currently don’t have twrp on my phone but I could look at it. Do you have a link for MSM tool as download and possibly a guide?

You actually boot into TWRP it does not have to be installed,, you install it once you boot into it plus you would probably need a otg because you do not have a OS . Here's a link to the Msm tools

There are several great write ups on how to use and install msm tool right here in the op7p forum I will see what I can find and post later

Hi, this is my first post in XDA, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.
I recently got a Redmi Note 11 and today I was going to install KomodoOS in it. I did as follows:
First thing I did was to unlock the bootloader, which seems to have worked fine (I can see the open lock icon alongside the Mi logo when it powers on).
I then flashed TWRP (from here https://www.getdroidtips.com/twrp-recovery-redmi-note-11/). When I first tried the command fastboot flash recovery_a twrp.img, I got an error telling me that recovery_a_a doesn't exist, same for recovery_b (which gave me error that partition recovery_b_a didn't exist). I found on Google I could boot into twrp (fastboot boot twrp.img) and then flash twrp itself (Advanced->Flash recovery), which I did and got no error messages. I booted up the system just normal, rebooted into recovery by issuing adb reboot recovery and it got me back into TWRP. So it seems it was installed successfully.
Lastly, while the phone was on TWRP I copied the rom file into the root directory with adb push komodo-version.zip komodo.zip, clicked on Install, selected komodo.zip then confirmed the installation. It took a few minutes (file is 1.3GB) and it completed with a few errors, but at the top there was the message Install successful.
Then I wiped Dalvik and rebooted the system, but now I'm stuck at a bootloop where it goes to the "No command" screen and reboots. I tried holding volume up+power and volume up while reconnecting the USB but to no avail, can't seem to get out of the loop. Also tried spamming adb devices and fastboot devices on pc but can't connect to the phone.
I'm now a bit desperate, since there's (surprisingly?) not much about this phone out there, and I don't know anything that could be done. Is there still hope?

In Shaomi "No Command" error means system partition has been destroyed. You most likely need to Reflash MIUI using >Mi Flash Tool<.
So your issue is that you cant boot into TWRP? Also, have you tried Power + Vol(-) to get into Fastboot mode. You can also try PC softwares like >Reiboot-For-Android.exe< to boot to recovery or bootloader.
>If you have TWRP no need to use ADB push, just use USB OTG to flash ZIP<
