Verizon - Galaxy Tab E 9.6 (SM-T567V) Root and Custom OS Question - General Questions and Answers

I have an older Galaxy Tab E SM-T567V that I have handed down to my 7 year old. It is running Nougat 7.1.1. It no longer has an active SIM, Wi-Fi only. Over the years I have occasionally checked around to see if anyone found a way to flash custom operating systems and/or root this model. Most info I find is years old and at that time the consensus seemed to be that it couldn't be done. Now that it has been almost 5 years since the release of this model I thought for sure someone would have found a way. I have not had any luck in my search for this information. Does anyone know if a solution to this was ever found and if so would you please point me in the right direction? I see all of these amazing custom OS's that I would love to try but i seem to have the only android device it can't be done.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated!

You can't unlock Verizon devices. Only Verizon can do it and they won't do it even if the third cold war will start if they don't unlock this device.

[Completed] How can I make my GPS work as it used to be before switching to CM 12.1

I have a Samsung Note 3 (SM-N900P) on Android 5.1.1. I removed the stock OS that the phone came with and installed CM 12.1 (CM12.1-20160807-NIGHTLY-hltespr) Ever since I installed CM, I started having a lot of issues with my GPS both with google maps and with other apps that require usage of GPS services like PokemonGo for example. On this particular issue the carrier is a bit irrelevant, because the Note 3 I own used to be with Sprint, but then I switched to AT&T and I use a Moto E to tether the Note 3 (plus I didn't have money at the time to get the same phone but from AT&T). I've tried looking for relevant topics on how to "configure" the GPS, but i havent seen anyone so far with a similar situation as mine.

Update Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (SCH-I815) to Android 4.1

Hi, I'm trying to update my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (SCH-I815) to Android 4.1 or higher so that I can run a particular app. All the instructions I've found are from around 2012 and most of the links are broken. Can anyone provide me with or point me in the right direction of instructions for doing so. I'm relatively tech savvy (or at least I thought so), but have never rooted a device or done anything like this before.
Thanks in advance!

newbie question

So i've never rooted a phone before, all i've done is activate the developeralternative and set 1 on bakground processes cause it's so slow. Still like the phone, don't wanna change.
However now comes the question. A lot of important apps like bank apps and such says my android version will not work anymore in the latest update.
Will the android version "get upgraded" if i root the phone? Sorry for being completely stupid.
I saw before lots of different download packages for S2 plus but i have no clue what to get, i have the samsung galaxy s2 plus 19105 version.
Thanks!
:bump: anyone??? Or do i need to get a new phone?
Better buy a new phone. The development is dead

[Help] Any files on the Note SCH-i925***

Good day,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 SCH-i925 Verizon running 4.1.2 Jellybean (2013) I have been doing research into the development of unlocking the bootloader for this device, and I came across the CASUAL method created by Adam Outler, but it so happens that all of the download links are broken. If anyone could point me in the right direction to downloading CASUAL for the SCH-i925 tablet that would be a huge help, or even if you have the files. I bought this tablet for school and don't like Jellybeans functionality, rather a lack of.
Thank you,

Unfortunately CASUAL for this tablet is unavailable. I too have this tablet and would love to update it. The creator of this program asked whenever he created it for everyone just let it stay on the original file sharing server. As per his request the link died and now it is inaccessible.
You're best bet is to ask around see if someone has the file still, not probable, and ask them to share it.
