Update Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (SCH-I815) to Android 4.1 - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm trying to update my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (SCH-I815) to Android 4.1 or higher so that I can run a particular app. All the instructions I've found are from around 2012 and most of the links are broken. Can anyone provide me with or point me in the right direction of instructions for doing so. I'm relatively tech savvy (or at least I thought so), but have never rooted a device or done anything like this before.
Thanks in advance!

galaxy tab 7 plus

Hello, is the galaxy tab 7 plus wifi only version going to get cyanogenmod 9 android 4.x? I read somewhere before it is but i don't see anything happening so maybe i read wrong. This is a very nice device but looks like its being passed up. It looks like alot going on for the new larger sized samsung tabs and other devices.

Samsung has announced that it will be getting ICS (android 4.0.x), but I haven't heard/seen anything concerning CM9. On the other hand, if ICS from samsung shows up (and they post the source as they are supposed to do), and CM9 shows up for other tablets (as well as other exynos-based devices), it should be trivial to do the port (and I might even take that on myself.)

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 But it's a demo version, HELP

Hello!
My friends told me you guys could help me here, so here my story/question:
I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 from my work and I can keep it 2 months. I need to promote these phones.
Samsung gave me a free "demo version" of the Samsung Galaxy S4. I can do almost everything with it except calling.
How can I remove the "demo version" and use it for these 2 months as my own phone ?
Thanks!
I have one to,
Already try root/CWM didnt work...and i have put a "normal" rom (last one) and wifi stop working.
Im trying now to find a place with the devo version rom, but can’t find it
To make phone call it’s impossible because doesn’t have the hardware to make it.
i have the same problem. no way to fix it.

[Help] Any files on the Note SCH-i925***

Good day,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 SCH-i925 Verizon running 4.1.2 Jellybean (2013) I have been doing research into the development of unlocking the bootloader for this device, and I came across the CASUAL method created by Adam Outler, but it so happens that all of the download links are broken. If anyone could point me in the right direction to downloading CASUAL for the SCH-i925 tablet that would be a huge help, or even if you have the files. I bought this tablet for school and don't like Jellybeans functionality, rather a lack of.
Thank you,

Unfortunately CASUAL for this tablet is unavailable. I too have this tablet and would love to update it. The creator of this program asked whenever he created it for everyone just let it stay on the original file sharing server. As per his request the link died and now it is inaccessible.
You're best bet is to ask around see if someone has the file still, not probable, and ask them to share it.

Need tutorial on Samsung Galaxy J337V.04, Version 8.0

Question: Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial, specifically one that covers "settings" for this phone?
Samsung Galaxy J337V.04 Version 8.0
I searched the web, and all I find is Samsung S9. Talk about "left behind"

This may help others, I hope! I went to Samsung Site and was given a link to my "older" Samsung Galaxy, but it also has other phone simulators. This is awesome if you need to find step by step to your phone settings:
This link is a few step into the simulator but you can find what you need in the left-hand Menu Denise

Verizon - Galaxy Tab E 9.6 (SM-T567V) Root and Custom OS Question

I have an older Galaxy Tab E SM-T567V that I have handed down to my 7 year old. It is running Nougat 7.1.1. It no longer has an active SIM, Wi-Fi only. Over the years I have occasionally checked around to see if anyone found a way to flash custom operating systems and/or root this model. Most info I find is years old and at that time the consensus seemed to be that it couldn't be done. Now that it has been almost 5 years since the release of this model I thought for sure someone would have found a way. I have not had any luck in my search for this information. Does anyone know if a solution to this was ever found and if so would you please point me in the right direction? I see all of these amazing custom OS's that I would love to try but i seem to have the only android device it can't be done.
Any help or information is greatly appreciated!
You can't unlock Verizon devices. Only Verizon can do it and they won't do it even if the third cold war will start if they don't unlock this device.
