Hey fellas,
is anybody else having the problem of not being able to install HiSuite v. 11.0.0.360 on their Windows PC?
/ does anybody know how to fix this.
I downloaded the HiSuite setup directly from Huawei's corresponding page.
Doesn't matter how many times I try to start the setup, nothing happens.
This has been a problem for me ever since v 10.0.0.550, so Im currently forced to use v 10.0.0.510.
sorry if this is not the right part of the forum for this, didn't know where else to post this
~Ikaros
Keep trying to install 10.0.0.550, you will succeed in the end.
you need to install vc_redist x86 first.

Nothing, there is no way, it just lets me install the HiSuite_10.0.0.510_OVE, nor the 550, nor the 11.0.0.360. Any suggestion why it doesn't allow you to install them?

okay its my fault for accidentally deleting it but I need the sdk tools. i redownloaded it but instead of a sdk folder there is just a sdk doc file. i read it and downloaded everything through the sdk manager and the tools are still not there. im lost and i looked through the guides and didnt see anything there. so what do I do now?
http://http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Then run the Setup exe
im on a mac...guess i should have said that first but i found it...its just not in the sdk directory anymore...and thats wut i was looking for specifically...the sdk tools now ~/Android/tools
duh...simple answer...just overlooked it trying to get ready for work...lol

Since Asus didn't provide a Mac version of PC Suite, I have to use Parallel Desktop to install the PC Suite in my Windows 7... however when I downloaded the installer from asus website, it was failed to download the PC Suite due to "Unknown Network Error"
that really frustrated me a lot and then I sent an email to Asus Support...just try to see if they could provide me a package on the pc suite...then i received a very disappointed news from them :
I am afraid, there is no official package at this moment.

Just tried it and I get the same. (Win 7 64bit)
Ive tried it on Win7 64bit as well as on Vista. No luck no both
Tried Win 7 32 and 64 bit and tried on an old 32bit XP machine same error. File seems to be same one that has been around for a few weeks so possible error on their end and error code is misleading.

yea, most probably it is unable to establish connection to the dl server. I guess we'll just have to hold on till Asus sort it out
I tried an older 1.6 version but that gave the same error.
Try to install manually from:
Asus Sync:
dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/TF101/Utility/setup_1.0.40.exe
MyDesktop_SplashTop:
dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/TF101/Utility/SplashtopRemote_Win_v1.3.7.2.EXE
Tried calling tech support. Person I got had no idea what I was talking about. Wanted to know if why I was calling about a PC to the EEEpad number. Explained what PC suite does and she told me they do not support 3rd party software. I told her it was ASUS software downloaded from their site and asked for next level of support. Said hold on then hung up???

yes it will work. on your TF go to Mycloud, and start MyDesktop.
Same error for me too - you are certainly not alone.

Thanks! I will try it!
Eee Pad PC Suite actually contains Asus Sync, Asus Webstorage and Splashtop which can be downloaded from my previous post, and for Webstorage from: www {dot} asuswebstorage {dot} com/client_download
It seems like the error is caused by Asus Webstorage's wrong URL in the installation file.
wow it suddenly came up with so many victims on the same issue
thanks hwidjaja, I think I have got the full package of PC Suite now?
webstorage, pc sync and splashtop..?
I'm trying to us Nachoroot.
A prerequisite is setting up ADB by installing Android SDK. However, SDK won't install until I install Java JDK.
I d/led JDK for windows 64 and it when I try to run it, a little permission screen pops up and I click, "Yes". But after that, I get nothing.
I tried the 86x version and nothing.
I tried running at as admin and still nothing.
What should I do guys?
try restarting as there may be other programs trying to update. if that doesn't work download the java sdk 6 instead of 7u2
a wsome ver 6 worked. If ur ever in vancouver letmeknow. Ill buy u a beer as a thanks.

Intel x86 is a general cpu structure, which means 32Bit CPU. You can also use it with other vendor's 32bit CPUs

I will try to keep this short. I am unable to install the Android SDK Tools on this Windows 7 64bit machine. I have installed these tools countless times and never once had an issue. What gives???
When I extract the contents of the android sdk folder, there is NO exe file. Just windows batch files which I can not get to do ANYTHING via command line, run as admin, etc etc etc.
W T F????
Search and get "tools_r25.2.5-windows.zip" from the internet, this one works for me.
