Stucked at flashing rom .- cant find any working solution on forums/google/friends - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

Hello, i am totaly stucked pls need help. first things first bought poco f2 pro like 1 week ago and yesterday i tried to install xiaomi eu rom, ofc there were errors, and it wasnt possible to go back to stock rom,(i am so stupid i didnt create backup but i was so sure with myself because i was also doing this proces with poco f1 )
SO WHAT I TRIED:
1. flashing newest rom with miflash 20200314 and also older version ( first time it worked , then i had confidence in this "repair process" will work forever and it was mistake)
after i flashed that stock rom then i tried to install miuieu again and again failed in installing so i tried to use miflash for flashing again but i got 2 errors first was antiroolback which ai fixed with editing script with notepad ( deleted antirollab rows and saved) next one was CRClist which i didnt find any working solution
2. adb sideloading vendor V12.0.4.0.QJKIDXM GLOBAL + firmware V12.2.1.0.RJKMIXM GLOBAL + rom dont work got some errors or wasnt booting properly
3. tried to root with twrp 3.4.2b LR twrp by wzsx150 which ofc didnt work because i dont have acces to system
4. adb sideloading rom
5. formated data 30x wiped all rapaired partitions
what i didnt try
flashing beta android 11 i think ( which i could find because only 1 workingin i found wasnt working
Not sure if i skipped something / did somehting wrong i would appreciate to someone really skilled to use TEAMVIEWER so you can connect on me and we can together figure it out because i am out of ideas, trying to repair this phone like 20 hours and still not working. Thx!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO not sure with this is supe r8+ GB big and also firmwave etc when i wiped all and formated data also

Twrp, currently cannot restore backups .
I guess from the post that the phone is a global version?
Try to flash the rom that was on your phone when you bought it with Miflash(option CLEANALL).
if it doesn't work try V11.0.2.0.QJKMIXM. if version global.

Miflash indicates an antiroolback error, because the version you are trying to flash is not the correct one.

stable

right now i am downloading V11.0.2.0.QJKMIXM version Type: Fastboot

There is no problem with the stable, you must have made a mistake somewhere.
MIflash is the only way to get your phone back.

Struck at Error:7 twrp "this package requires firmware from miui 9.5.14"

So I was initially on pixel experience 9.0 plus for my redmi note 7 pro and then decided to flash MIUI V11.0.5.0.PFHINXM via TWRP recovery. After flashing, the phone booted normally. Then I switched the rom to Pixel Experience 10. I didn't like the rom so thought of coming back to 9.0-pixel-experience but when I tried to do so, I got the error Error:7 twrp "this package requires firmware from miui 9.5.14" update your firmware. I tried updating the firmware too by flashing firmware from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/violet/ but nothing seemed to work. Later I tried flashing pixel experience 10 and got the error. Now I am not able to flash any other rom other than Miui. Can someone help me to fix it, please?
ps: I have already tried flashing factory images of latest miui roms and that has not solved the problems.
which recovery are you using

check with orangefox
I have tried switching recoveries too. Nothing seem to work.

I have tried changing the recovery too. Same error.
try flashing stable fastboot rom with option flash all.
then flash orangefox recovery with fastboot and then try.
flashing fastboot rom will undo anything happened to any partition
Seemed like it would have worked

I already tried flashing the latest Fastboot image and then tried flashing again. It still doesn't work.
are you formatting data before flashing??
when you format data there is no residue left of previous roms.
try format data then flash fastboot rom with "flash all" and then install recovery, try orangefox .

I first erased everything from wipe and then even removed system,data,cache from advance wipe and then flashed. Whenever I try to flash any rom, it fails at the manifest check and gives the above said error. I even tried flashing the latest firmware. Nothing seem to work for me and now I am stuck at Miui?.

i guess the rom file you are trying to install is either corrupted or checking for something.
could you upload updater-script file from meta-inf/com/google/Android folder from the rom you are trying to flash which is giving this error.
Please find the screenshot attached.

Btw every rom has that updater line that I have highlighted. If I remove the assert function from the updater, the rom will get flashed but I just want to know why the issue is happening.

its for checking, so you cannot flash the rom over a very old version of the stock rom which makes flashed rom not work properly or not booting at all.
they build roms over a specific version on which they test to have it working fine during all phases.
so thats why developers have it to keep a check over version of the rom you are installing upon. so that it has no conflicts between integration in future for running the rom.
moreover i see the version of your rom is old and may have a new version ,so try to have an updated version of the rom which may flash fine.
I tried flashing the lastest today's built of mokee and still the same error

you need to install that patch first.
This ought to be firmware bug. try fw 9.9.3 or the global 11.0.5.0 fw. Might work.....

Hey! thanks for helping with your solutions. My issue was solved by flashing the latest INDIAN MIUI FIRMWARE. I can now easily flash any rom without any problems. Thanks
Please, can you explain the process, because even I'm getting firmware update error while flashing PE10 even after flashing latest Indian firmware before flashing Custom ROM, Tried Official TWRP, Peter TWRP booth. This started after update of MIUI-11, There was no such issue with MIUI10.

How to verify flashed firmware version (when on custom ROM)?

I just flashed a custom ROM (Pixel Experience A11) originally starting from MIUI Global 12.0.4
Then I flashed the Global 12.0.7 firmware via TWRP (found here https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/surya/).
However, I forgot to check version numbers of anything before flashing, so I don't know what to look for to verify the new firmware is flashed properly?
Thanks!
@uddinf you could also switch to Orange Fox recovery, after you reboot to recovery on startup screen you will see several info about your device including actual fw number...

interesting, I reread your original post and found that you only flashed fw (without vendor), i suggest you read this post, where are at the beginning links to the whole fw+vendor (mind you it's big around 2 GB archive needed to be flashed before flashing custom ROM)...
I suppose that is the reason why is it not showing fw version. If you will flash that and will still not show fw version, then we'll have a new mystery here... Hm, just flash that fw+vendor archive, reboot recovery and check the info screen again and report here, thanks...

I appreciate all the input
Correct, I did not flash vendor so that is likely my problem.
I will follow your post and flash the MIUI.eu archive
One question though, you say "needed to be flashed before flashing custom ROM"...
Does that mean I have to go back to original ROM via Miflash first or do I just flash the 2gb archive from your post straight away via orange fox?

yep, you can flash it directly in , but since it's a whole usable ROM, it will also overwrite your currently flashed ROM, so if you want to use customized MIUI, don't flash anything else and just boot it, or flash whatever custom ROM you want to use directly after + necessary steps like GAPPS and after boot magisk...

HELP STUCK IN TWRP, can't boot into android OS

I tried to root my phone (SAMSUNG GALAXY J7 PRIME SM-G610F) running Android 8.1 Oreo.
I was using ODIN and succesfully flash TWRP recovery unto my phone.
Next, i wanted to install magisk manager. In order to do so, I wiped data,cache, and Dalvik according to some root tutorial out there.

I swiped right and got this lines of error..
I do not know what went wrong here... but my gut told me something wasn't right,
I went back to install menu in TWRP and I can't seem to find the magisk zip I was looking for. It's all empty
Now I'm very confused here, and i rushed to reboot my phone.. Only to find out that my phone can't boot into the Android OS. It went straight to TWRP. I've rebooted for like 5-7 times but nothing changes.
Now I can't use my phone because of this..
Can anyone explain to me what just happened? Is there any way to get my phone back from this??

How To Guide Chinese rom to Global rom tutorial

Warning: doing this may void warranty. proceed at your own risk, I do not take responsibility for you bricking your phone.
This is a tutorial on how to manually update a red magic 7pro Chinese rom to Global rom. (tested-working)
This should work the other way around as well (global to chinese). (untested)
This should also work on other model red magic phones. (untested)
Software needed:
7zip - https://www.7-zip.org/
Step 1: download latest global rom from red magic
https://help.redmagic.gg/hc/en-us/articles/6360319907865-REDMAGIC-7-Pro
Step 2: Right click on the downloaded global rom and open with 7zip
after opening in 7zip you will have to edit the payload_properties.txt file
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
double click the payload_properties.txt file to open it in notepad
Now you will have to remove the _un
once you remove the _un you have to click file/save.
it should look like this after saving the file.
Now close the file and it will ask you to update the .zip file. click OK
Step 3: Now copy the updated .zip rom to the root drive of your phone.
Step 4: on your phone go into the settings/system update/
click the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and click local update.
Select the new global rom you just put in your root directory and install.
Step 5: Do not click the reboot after the update is finished. Instead hold down power button and power off.
once the device is powered off hold the volume up and power to boot into recovery.
Wipe / factory data reset.
reboot to new rom.
Couple of notes:
if you do click the reboot after installing the rom, i think everything will be ok. you will just have to power off the phone and reboot into recovery (power button/volume up) as stated above to wipe.
I think this will work for any version of the rom (global/jap/chinese/uk) as long as you edit to the correct country code in the payload_properties.txt file
Thanks for the tutorial CUKIO34.
I will loose root after wiping data and factory reset ?

Hello !
Here a mirror link for the firmware (v414): https://mega.nz/file/Lpgl2DoB#rANR7S_k35xfgm4gr4mp1mJsG-wFdpggx6m124s4MuI

To those trying to Switch from CN Rom to Global ROM, please re-consider. I just tried it yesterday and it was successful but very unstable. my phone just bricked FYI
The flashing went smoothly but after wiping data, the device is bootlooping...
I've been using the global rom now for 10 days with no issues. Are you guys using method of pressing the power button + volume up to enter recovery to wipe?
I'm using the 3.14 USA global rom.
Someone posted a link to the Europe 4.14.

once you reach recovery wipe data and factory reset. It should boot into the new rom if you loaded it correctly.
for my case it doesnt show wipe data and factory, it boots back to fastboot mode each time i reboot.
i ran the boot.img from cmd via fastboot already still no luck.
Let me know if i missed out any steps. my usb debugging is disabled and i cant inject any zip through ADB
My device had been bricked for one month after trying this tutorial. Fortunately I was able to bring it back to life. I just converted the Payload file of the CN Rom into .img files. Then I flashed my device in fastboot mode using the commands that I put in a .bat file. Feel free to DL the folder and try if you are in the same mess I used to be.https://mega.nz/file/tFQUzAzT#_SWNRdVyxIueOl__V4Jxh_P-3IKufw52LMalhTr1b3Q

It’s work for Redmagic 7 or only 7 pro ?

OxygenOS C.36 out but DON'T INSTALL THIS UPDATE FOR NOW!

I got a KB2003 - ONeplus 8T EU
Oxygen Updater told me today there's an update avaliable, version C.36.
I donloaded it via the app and updated manually.
Phone did not boot up.
I was able to boot into recovery once where it said the system is corrupt.
I managed to enter fastboot mode. It was recognised on my PC by fastboot but no fastboot command are not accepted. I couldn't even turn it off again.
About 2 hours passed.
Then I managed to turn it off and it booted up like nothing happened, but I cannot download the data from it. Nothing is showing up in my browser via cable connection.
I am not feeling safe anymore ... I think I will roll back to C.35 if possible ASAP.
You need to keep an eye on https://community.oneplus.com/wap/circleDetail?id=1034260458221338626
C.36 is an IN only version at the moment of OOS 12
Update: since I first wrote this post there have been reports of C.36 being available now for both EU and NA.
Thanks.
Can I download C.35 and install simply install it?
The C36 is rolling out to other versions now. See https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/updates-thread.4188149/
I've just received the KB2005 (NA/global) version when I checked in Settings>About device. Normally the EU version takes longer to roll out.
I don't think the system updater will let you downgrade to C35, but you can try.
After 1 night everything seems to work well. I did not try to Rollback or did anything.
Fastboot is back.
Still do not understand the issue. LOL
I updated it earlier. Now it's stuck on reboot loop :/

Yeah, I was able to fix the boot loop temporarily and was able to boot once. It gave me enough time to retrieve all the important data

long as you know how to recover from brick with msm tool. but steps i use is oxygen updater to download full ota. (not incremental update) .put the 3gb zip on pc. use payload dumper to dump the zip (only for boot.img) take boot put on phone use magisk Canary to patch that boot. put boot on pc, reboot to recovery and fastboot boot magisk.img. once phone boots use magisk to directly patch boot and its rooted
