Not showing notifications on WearOS smartwach - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

Hey, guys does anyone else have this problem, my Fossil Sport wont show notifications that I recive on my phone, I have tried setting WearOS app so that MIUI doesn't stop it because of Battery management and my notifications are all set to show ?

I have been using Poco X3 NFC for a week and had been facing the issue of notifications although my Galaxy Active 2 was connected with the bluetooth.
I tried a lot of methods and it seems that the issue has been fixed from last 3 days.
1 - Please switch off battery optimization for all the apps related to your watch and the xiaomi frameworks (you have to do this everytime you restart your phone as the battery optimization automatically changes its settings upon restart)
2- Switch on all the notifications for all the apps for all the times
3- Allow all permissions to the wearable related apps
4- (Most important step which I believe is the key) Go to Settings, write Access Notifications. You will see Wearable and Xiaomi Framework sort of thing. Please allow these both. Once you will allow these both options, hopefully the notifications will start to show. If the notifications switch off, then please deactivate this option and reactive it along with the wearable's own application notification settings (put off and then on)
Mid range phones are interesting buy but they are full of bugs. I have recently shifted to Poco X3 NFC from Note 8.

thanks, hope it works.
just bought POCO X3 NFC I had noticed problems with notifications and therefore I had deactivated energy saving on wearos and nova launcher apps, giving them administration rights. now it is something like 10 days that I can no longer receive notifications on my huawei watch 2 smartwatch and my favourite launcher (Nova).
I reset my watch to factory values and it worked for just over a day, after which it went silent again, it no longer displays my notifications.
Now I will follow your advice, actually the framework did not have access to notifications. we hope well

Applications don't work anymore in sleep mode on Huawei P8

Hello,
I have an unrooted Huawei P8. Emui 3.1 - Software version B350. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
I noticed a strange behaviour when my phone goes into sleep and I can not find anything on the net about this problem.
There is some time I have installed an application "SMSReminder" which notifies me every 5 minutes when I received a SMS that I have not read yet. What I have noticed is when the phone is idle for some time, the application apparently has no more priority to do the reminders though when I unlock the screen, the notification occurs immediately because the App still running on. I thought that here was to be the app that was buggy and I gave up.
Unless I installed another application "Keycut" for managing a smartbutton inserted into the jack (which can manage functions like switching on torch without unlocking the phone, or turn off the wifi). And I have exactly the same behavior. While all the priorities are activated in the notifications and the app is allowed to operate when the phone is in standby, after a while, the smartbouton no longer works. As if the phone was in deep sleep and could not be unlocked only by a call, the button "Power ON" or receiving new SMS.
Concerning the battery management, I work in "smart" mode, but I tried the "High Performance" mode and it have the same behaviour.
There is a menu to select the apps you want to leave during the sleep of the phone. They remain well functioning but no longer react during the sleep.
I therefore appeal for your help to find out if there is a solution and if anyone has encountered this behavior.
thank you in advance
I also have the same issue, would love a fix

Google assistant reminders don't work.

I have a OP7 with unlocked bootloader, magisk, build 10.3.0.GM57AA.
I heavily use the google assistant reminders, but I can't get them to work on the OP7. Reminders notifications come several minutes/hours after the programmed time. I had no problem with my previous phones, one of which I still use and it never misses a reminder notification (thus confirming that is not a problem of the Google app, but of the OP7 software). I tried different solutions:
- Disable adaptive battery and all other battery-related optimizations. Didn't work.
- Uninstall the system app Google and reinstall it as a user app. This, for whatever reason, breaks the ''OK google'' voice recognition so is not a viable solution.
- Modify the magisk module ''OxygenOS gmail battery fix'' from David Sn, to work with the Google app instead of the Gmail App. I can confirm that the Google package (com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox) is correctly whitelisted from Doze after installing the module (I checked with the command ''dumpsys deviceidle" with a terminal emulator). This way the reminders notifications come immediately after I unlock the screen, but they still don't work when the screen is off.
- Manually add com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox to the .xml files that control the Doze whitelisted apps (/system/etc/sysconfig and /system/product/etc/sysconfig). Didn't work.
- Use the Nova Launcher activity trick to make system apps appear in the ''Battery optimization'' menu (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79613520&postcount=8) but it didn't worked (I can't get system apps to show in that menu). [Side note: why the hell Oneplus decided to hide system apps in the battery optimization menu????????]
The only way I managed to get the reminders notifications when the phone is idle is to completely disable Doze with "dumpsys deviceidle disable" command. This way all the notifications work perfectly but obviously there is an abnormal battery drain when the phone is idle. I'm about to give up and switch to another reminder app or to a custom rom, but this piss me off because this is theoretically a top-range smartphone and it is ridiculos that such a basic function don't work, especially considering that this is an almost stock software and that this issue was reported a long time ago on the Oneplus Community forum by multiple users.
Please if you have any advice/solution share it with me.

MIUI 12 bugs for F2 Pro

Let's talk about bug's on the stock MIUI 12 Rom for the Poco F2 Pro (not xiaomi.eu).
First of all app permissions are useless. I block apps like Gearbest to not run in backgroud = I get ads from Gearbest app every day in notification center. I put VPN on autostart, run in background, keep the connection in VPN settings and disable MIUI battery safer for that VPN app = it kills the app sometimes over the day and at night it kills the app instantly after I lock the screen, every time.
WiFi 6 is broken as well. Calls over VoWiFi are broken and sometimes the speed drops down for no reason. WiFi 4 n works perfectly.
Sometimes no icon in status bar, like VPN icon when it's connected, VoLTE I never saw (but it works) and even Google calander is shown the icon in status bar but nothing in notification center (2 times for now).
Haven't noticed any issues myself.
You use VPN and got WiFi6?
Device is awake all the time.
Same, causing overnight battery drain
I lose 1% per 1h at night.
Lose 3% in 8.5 hours (overnight); 0.35% per hour.
Battery stats doesn't work properly
- Dark mode is awful in apps like messenger, messages were white with white text or animations of someone typing were not fully transparent but just white I had to enable dark mode inside app and add app to ignore list for system one.
- Always on Display. I dont understand how schedule works, I set it to 7am-11pm but AOD shows up all the time.

Stand by is fine, drops a maximum of 2-3% for me. But once we start using, miui 12 have terrible battery optimization
for me seems like i get more battery drain, but havent checked yet, but comming from a day of downloading apps back on miui 11 and later update to miui 12 seems like my battery toke a hit..
I was thinking about making a separate "rant" thread about MIUI 12 on the F2 Pro, but since you're all here I might as well share my frustration.
Coming from years of both Samsung One UI and Stock android, I have one big and two small issues with MIUI 12.
Every other android vendor on the planet (probably) has 4 sound modes: Ring, Vibrate and Silent and DND. You would think that there is no need to change that, but Xiaomi apparently had a different opinion.
- Okay, ring works as expected, but the only time my phone is on Ring is when it's in the setup and I can't change it to Vibrate.
- There is no actual Vibrate, there is this Silent thing, which sets the Ring volume to 0 (so.. vibrate) and offers to mute all media sounds...
- Then there is DND which mutes all notifications, doesn't offer to mute media sounds (like Samsung does), restricts visual popups for notification but doesn't stop the screen from lighting up when you get a notification and the phone is locked like WHAT?! I'm out here trying to sleep and this huge 6.7" screen is lighting up like it's a flashlight?
EDIT: they fixed it ?
Speaking of flashlight, and I know this isn't a grand issue, if you're using the new Control Center, you can rearrange the quick tiles at the bottom, but not the 4 at the top. Why? I would love to be able to switch the Mobile Data and WiFi but no.
I love this phone and it's battery. Easily lasts 2 days. But whose idea was it that the battery stats will show only the last 24 hours instead of since last full charge, like everyone else? ?*
12.0.2.0 fix almost nothing.

Pretty much this. Checking using AccuBattery, the device only entered deep sleep for 5 min for the whole day. Thinking rooting the phone to force device enter doze.
12.0.2.0 and I can forget about audio over bluetooth... this is so disgusting, never seen such a bugged phone.
I'm using the POCO F2 Pro Global Version with the MIUI 12 and I have this issue with Twitter.
Push Notifications are enabled in the app, and when I received the number 9 Notification, the new coming Notification will erased the last one.
It limits to 9 Notifications only.
Any solution please?

That's odd I don't have issues with Bluetooth audio on qc35 and wf-1000xm3 and envaya mini haven't noticed any issues.
There are other bugs like video tools styles being blank etc crushed colours on lockscren probably others but I haven't noticed any Bluetooth issues
The update I presume was mainly a security update.

I had no problems, now I can forget to listen music over bluetooth. I try to connect the same TWS with my Mate 20X and no issues, connect again with Poco F2 Pro and same problems. Also reboot the device and pair it again.
Security update is about 80MB, not 400MB. They change also the VoWiFi logo but VoLTE still not fixed (don't show the icon).

What issues are you having with connecting or pairing or looking for headsets or dropped connections when streaming?
Also I've said it's mainly a security update given they've jumped a bit from the initial preparations of miui 12 also some apps got updated along the way.
Can't check VoLTE as my operator doesn't support it.

Sync (data?) OFF when screen is off

* Often when I work the mobile is at my desk but I still comunicate by sending SMS and using Whatsapp in my webbrowser. Works fine with Samsung and Huawei but with my new Mi10 Ultra id does not work. Connection is lost and I have to tuch some key on the phone to light up the screen and then it syncronizes.
I have set permissions for the apps to allow both autostart and not affected by the battery saver in the system.
I have also set the "data usage" for the apps to allow background data.
...but still, background data for SMS and whatsapp IS deactivated until I light up the screen.
Has anyone run into this problem? Is there any general (mayor) switch for this that I have missed?
This happens to me with Gmail. Sometimes they come in on the lockscreen and sometimes I have to turn the phone on for them to appear. I still have this problem on my Samsung S20 Ultra but I learned to live with it since I never figured out what the problem was. I have no such problems with my SMS or WhatsApp though. Everything else for me seems to be coming through.

Hi there. I pretty much have the same problem with this phone. If it's not permissions nor background data, it's the power saving feature, which is the most aggressive I've seen yet.
I was talking with someone about this in another thread, but I was instructed to turn off battery saver. It got better for a day, but it kind of returned back the way it was. I think you could try and play around with the power saving settings for the apps you want immediate notifications from, which I haven't had time to do. Please let me know how it goes for you and I'll find time to play with it this weekend.

Poco X3 notifications work not good, quick...

I expect when I get a mail, a messenger message or whatsapp message a quick notification from the phone.
But that doesn't work... although I have put them out of battery save and always on....
Sometimes the notifcation comes, sometimes it doesn't.....
Have you the same problems? and is there a solution?
My phone is on battery saver all the time because I don't want unnecessary notifications from built in MIUI apps.
Even still all my notifications of the apps I use arrive on time (WhatsApp etc).
Check the settings of each individual app and ensure they aren't being killed or denied access. (I know you stated that you kept them on always on so I assume you have tried everything but here's just some generic advice.)
1: Settings * Manage Apps * MIUI Battery Saver.
2: Settings * Special App Access * Battery Optimization. (Type special in the settings search box) add the apps you use frequently there.
Disclaimer : What you're experiencing isn't normal behavior. Even though I have removed all my social apps from the "Special App Acces - Battery" section... I still get my WhatsApp notifications on time. My phone is on battery saver even if it's on 100%.
Is your phone disconnecting from network after screen off? Is cache being cleared after screen off? Check in security app (battery section).
I know I'm not of help, but I just want to know what you've tried and what you haven't because it's not mentioned in the post.
