Battery Issue with new version of NexusBeam [17Jan]

Hi there, I wanted to post this under the nexusbeam thread but my postcount doesn't allow me to do this...
Anyway, I've been on NexusBeam 4.1.0 for a while now with Speedy-4 and I upgraded to NexusBeam 4.2.3. After flashing I calibrated the battery using battery calibration this morning. Since then the battery has gone from 100% to 0% in 3 hours. My battery life with the previous version was about 28hrs with heavy usage.
I am using a i9023 device. I believe its a ROM issue? I have used Speedy-4 before with the old ROM with no issues.
Another finding of note is that my Browser is using 53% of battery and there is no mention of screen using battery. I already forcestopped and killed the browser but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
Will go back to my old NANDROID if this issue can't be fixed which sucks cuz I love the speed of the new version
Did you flash over 4.2.3 over 4.1.0 or did you do a full wipe and install 4.2.3? If you didn't already do so, you should do a full wipe and a fresh install of NexusBeam 4.2.3.
I've been on 4.2.3 since it came out (using Speedy-3 kernel however, I got random reboots with Speedy-4) and I've had fantastic battery life and no issues with the browser battery drain that you describe.
I recommend a full wipe and fresh install.
Yep, I forgot to mention. It was a fresh install. Wiped everything even used davlik-wiper

resurrection remix ics 4.1

Flashed remix 4.1 last night and nearly everything seems excellent as per usual but 2 issues only, every time i reboot the data keeps turning on or the data can turn on without me knowing? which kernel is the best for battery life for this rom, i'm using siyah v3 icr4+ and the battery is draining like hell!

[Q] Losing Info @ Reboot

I recently used Miui ROM and I got a bit bored with the ROM so decided to try one of the ICS ROM's for a change. I did a nandroid backup of Miui and needed to change my HBOOT to accommodate the ICS ROM so did a full format and wipe and changed my HBOOT to stock. Once I installed the ICS Rom I found the battery life was appalling (lost over 30% at night) so reinstalled my Miui nandroid backup.
I then found if I rebooted the phone that all my login details for things like Twitter and FB and I had to re-login after reboot, and other saved info in other apps and games had disappeared. It's as if the memory had been wiped during reboot.
I assumed it was due to me changing to an incompatible HBOOT or that the new partition sizes had caused the issue. However, I then found a more decent version of ICS and flashed that and this works really smoothly and with good battery life. BUT...I've just rebooted the phone and found I had to login again to FB and Twitter.
Can anyone tell me what could be causing this? (HBOOT used now is stock HBOOT).

Downgrade to stock ICS from Custom Rom Jelly bean

Hi, currently I have the rom CleamRom 6 and want to return again to the stock version of ICS, the reason is that the battery life has decreased significantly since upgrade to JB and I want to go back to ICS.
The base version is I535VRLHE, download odin firmware 3.7 and 4.0.4 of I535VRALF2 samsung-updates page., but not if by this is enough to do it or if it's right.
thanks

That should do it! Especially if you have the stock ICS firmware.
I feel that my battery has increased with the upgrade from ICS to JB, and increased more from JB to CleanROM 6 RC2.
Do you have betterbattery stats? Did you do a full/triple wipe before flashing? My first flash of CleanROM was terrible battery life, but I triple wiped the system/cache/dalvik in TWRP. Then flashed the new CR6 and have had great battery life. Usually gets me through the whole day with some left over.
For example as of this post
My phone is at 46% 11hr41min on battery 58% screen drain 26% cell standby 16% device idle 2% android system. I have had 4G on all day, and done some reddit/video/music for an hour or so.

Battery meter missing/non-existent

So over the past few weeks I've been extremely flash happy. I've practically flashed every ROM in the dev section besides the JB roms that have broken radios. The latest ROM I flashed to was MIUI V4, it was super SUPER laggy and sluggish so I decided to go back to my all time favorite ROM of eaglesblood 4.0.4 AOSP. I flashed the rom, my favorite kernel (trinity g2x ics OC), new baseband fix and ICS Gapps package. Everything went fine at first boot except for the fact that I had no battery meter. It was gone. When I went into settings > battery it said my battery percentage was 999%. I figured it must have been something I did to the ROM zip as I modded battery icons in eaglesblood a few weeks prior may have had a corrupt file or something. So did a fresh download of the ROM. Flashed everything again, in the exact order and had the same problem. From there, I went back to my trusty nandroid backup of vanilla CM7 and my battery meter is working just fine. I cannot find a solution on the internet to what would make my battery icon, stats and overall detection completely disappear. Any ideas?
