Question Which charger to use for 65w charging??(Since asus 65w charger is unavailable in indian)

I am unable to find a good adapter for asus rog phone 5 hyper charge 65
Same question!
If anyone has any recommendations, Please drop it here ..
There is no other charger that can charge our phones at 65w. Asus have proprietary coding/hardware that makes so that only their chargers work.
Using gan charger 65 from xiaomi. But dont know if its ideal for rog phone.
I use a Lenovo 65W laptop charger sometimes. It doesn't hyper charge at 65W like the ASUS one does, but as far as charging speed difference between them, I'd say the Lenovo one is ~15 mins slower to full charge compared to the Asus one.

I was also looking for the same. I found one that looks promising as all input and output parameters are exactly the same. I have ordered it already, will test it and update here if anyone is interested

Any luck mate? Is the portronics 65W charger working. Interested to know and planning to buy it, if it's working....Tks
No it didn't worked. The wattage is exactly same like the Asus 65W charger but just wasted my money. I also found another one but I am reluctant to buy it as there is no assurance it will work on the ROG 5 or not!

Don't bother buying the one I suggested above. It doesn't work either! Asus must have added something that detects the use of OEM charger only. I am not even getting fast charge on this one.
The last charger you tested only has the PD protocol on the USB-C socket, except, from Firmware .151 to the latest .226, PD / PPS are buggy. ASUS finally acknowledged it and promised a fix soon!!!. This charger should work in 18w using the USB socket and you may have a good surprise with the next Firmware with the USB-C socket.
It is likely that there is a specific dialog added to the QC 5 protocol because only the ASUS 65W charger allows this charge, at best it charges in 30W in this protocol with this charger for example:

You tried at Asus, It is currently unavailable but is regularly replenished

No fixes for PD/PPS load in .229 firmware being deployed
I didn't exactly knew the specifics of the charging solutions. Thanks for that! Just checked the output of both chargers and it was the same so I thought they might work. Let's wait for the next update from Asus and hope they fix it.
The xiTix one is not even charging at 30W, otherwise it wouldn't have been a complete waste for me. I will wait for sometime otherwise will give it to someone.

Hello, 2 news
The .229 firmware fixes the bugs with PD / PPS chargers well but only on the side USB-C port, I did the test with 3 different chargers.
Go to Battery, constant charge and enable there, you should have 2 other power charges (stable and ultra stable) downstairs to extend battery life when you don't need fast charging.
Otherwise, the ASUS 65w charger is again available on Asus Store in US version from France!!

Hey! Actually the Asus 65W charger is not available in India, that is the only reason I was looking for alternate options. I will check the xitix one and will update here.
I am on A12 firmware and can confirm that side port has better input current (double that that of) than the bottom one for PD charging for fast charging. But it is charging at similar rate as hypercharge 30 i feel (even with 65w pd charger)

Hi, any luck with 65w charging in rog phone indian version ?
