Hi there, got my Fold 2 yesterday and living it so far.
When I first installed action with my previous backup from old phone, the layout on the front and inside screen was fine! (albeit small icons). Now however, whatever icon grid layout I choose, the icons on the front screen are squished and app drawer is bonkers.
I have tried reinstalling the backup, restarting the app etc to no avail.
Not trying to have two different layouts for the front and inner screen, just trying to get it to look OK.
Any help on what grid layout I should be using?
You cant use much more than 5 and not run into issues depending on your layout. I'd decide the grid you want first and then go into the options and adjust the icon size so they fit. That may in turn have you deciding to change the grid again. Fiddle with it until you find a good balance. I use 5 because that's as small as I can go on the front screen without occasionally tapping the wrong icon because they're so shrunk and close together. I'm old, a younger person might make 6 or more work. You're going to have to fiddle with it and find your own groove.
Sure wish Lacy would update the app, a lot more folding, rollable, stuff coming...

at the moment i'm currently using HandyShortcuts or shortcutmanager with everything turned off, but every soft reset it loses its settings
surely there must be an addon to add a few blank lines?
(also is there any theme creator that you can make the lines between the addons transparent)
cheers people
my one (link in my sig) adds almost a whole screen of blank if you do not set up the shortcuts. You can put the other today items before it if you want them on screen or after it if you want them to scroll off. The only down side is that if you use another today item at the same time as my one you will get the scroll bar, some people don't like to see it.
You say you want to make some transparent space, the reason you can't do it with some theme is that it is never transparant. When we make it seem transparent, in reality we just ask the today screen/os to keep re-drawing the background picture thats already there. Check out my options dialog, it has the same background as the today screen. Thats because that window is also "asking" for that image to get drawn.
Scary bear has one free. I've made one which is quite useful, but unreleased for now until VJToggleToday comes out...

I just wondered if there is anyway we can adjust the system font size and icons in the menu's as I have always thought they were too large when compared to other phones?

Desire:
Example, when you press the power button you get the little menu for airplane mode, silent etc, on the HTC Desire the fonts are much smaller and it even has nicer icons, can we add this?
Same as the main system menus, the HTC's have smaller fonts with really nice colorful icons, we just have black and white icons,
I know its not a huge thing but I always wondered so thought I'd ask!
In CyanogenMod 7 there is an app called Spare Parts where you can tweak that.

Click to collapse
I've tried spare parts and it lets you change fonts although it resets on reboot, it also doesn't let you change icons?
Hello everyone.
I am currently working on a new home screen for my SGNote. My intention was to make a custom wallpaper from scratch, using the icons, fonts and images I desire and then adding hotspots for shortcuts using blank png images.
I ran into a little problem though, let me explain. I know that you can create "placeholder" images using blank.png image files, but as far as I know these files and hotspots can only conform to the different grid sizes, what I mean is that they can only scale horizontally or vertically within the aspect ratio of the grid. I hope I make myself clear, as it is kind of hard to explain through written word.
In any case, what I need to be able to do is create hotspots that vary in size, whether they be round or diagonal, or maybe even rectangles that do not conform to the grid.
I will try to exemplify through an image I've found.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now, lets say that I need to create rectangular hotspots for the panels under "STATIONS CONTACTS FOR:" or a rectangular one for "PRIMARY SYSTEMS TEMP". How would I go about doing that?
Anyway, I hope I made myself clear.
I thank you for your time and look forward to reading your answers.
I'm using the Acer A210 if that makes any difference.
I've wiped and installed different ROMs and the bouncing app bug persists, I've searched EVERYWHERE for a solution but can't seem to find one.
No matter what app I use a bar will come up between the status bar and actual app the same thickness as the status bar. On the old ROM I used it used to only rarely happen and only happen often in the Google Voice app but now with the new ROM I have installed (was forced to update ROM as I woke up and suddenly the tablet wouldn't go passed the Acer boot screen) it's on EVERY app I use and drives me crazy. I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue as it's only persistent in apps, never on the homescreen, lockscreen, nor does the status bar move, thus the screen itself isn't projecting the pixels to move, it's something within the coding itself I assume.
My other issue I'm having is my lockscreen is completely locked to landscape mode and I'd like for it to be able to be locked to portrait or at least have the ability to auto-rotate, I'm sure that's the easier to solve problem of the two but they're both driving me nuts.
If I could get some codes for the files I need to edit and a simple how-to that'd be amazing.
Any workarounds are welcome and any help is appreciated, thanks!

First of all, sorry if this isn't the right place. It would not allow me to post in question/answers.
I am experiencing a bug (Note 20 Ultra N9860, HK version but being used in the States) where I end a call and the last screen from the phone app is permanently overlaid over the launcher screen. This is not the app itself... It's not actually there and I can still launch icons that are beneath the overlay as if it wasn't there. It does this with several launchers. Nova is preferred but it does not go away when I switch back to the Samsung launcher. It's also visible when I go into the app switcher... Not sure if this is a coincidence but the overlay is the exact same size as the app previews in the app switcher.
I've attached some photos... Including one with the pop up view to show the difference as several people I've told about this bug think it's that and I'm dumb lol. There's also one of it showing using the app switcher.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution? The only thing I can do it restart the phone everytime I hang the phone up.

Oh and BTW I am on stock firmware.
did you experiment with call display when using other apps under settings? In case it makes a difference.
was the issue always there, since you got the phone?
try with Google phone dialer?
