Centre clock mod question - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

As the title suggests, what is the best method of changing the clocks position on the status bar to the centre?
I have checked through several threads but haven't found a method for the Poco f2 Pro
I tried downloading a mod from mi globe, but when I try to flash this in twrp recovery, I get an error message stating that the system cannot be mounted, even after mounting the system first - I come across the same error
Any help would be much appreciated

Install one os ROM.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f2-pro/themes/minimode-xiaomi-eu-12-0-8-t4160349

I have this options on oneOS custom ROM..

Thanks for the suggestions guys, much appreciated
I've gone with the minimode mod

disappointing not to get this kind of original possibilities without any mod, I have memories of my old Xiaomi where this kind of customization was a strong point

RC6.75Z STOCK- FULL WIPE installed!

hello all, i sucessfully installed the RC6.75Z STOCK- FULL WIPE rom found on this forum for AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377087 and all seems ok but for one issue. the only icon i have in the notification area is the battery percentage. i have searched to best of my abilities but cannot find an answer. have looked at all settings on the phone but again no luck in getting icons to appear. thanks in advance for any help or advice
Read the full thread
Read the full thread there are a few other zips that you need to install... Ones a battery zip (I think.) another a status bar etc its with in the post if I'm reading it right.. Hope that helps.
i originally followed the guide step by step wthout a single issue other than the status icon issue, i reinstalled the rom was able to get the indicators to display by not installing the STOCK- NONWIPE-UPDATE
RC7.3 STOCK UPDATE. the guide i found indicated i needed to install them both. did i miss something?
You should be good installing the 6.75Z alone without any issues, RC7.3 is just an update. Other than these 2 you don't need to install anything for normal working.
I am using the same rom and don't have any issue. If possible try to follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1446566 guide provided.
It did fixed some issue on my phone.
What seems to happen to people with that rom is they install the main rom and updates all at one time, what needs to be done is install the main rom, let the phone boot and run media scan, once the phone has finished that reboot in to recovery and install any updates. Status bar should be there for ya then.
If you are using the ics launcher, you should be able to pull down the status bar like you pull down the window. also, there is a setting that you can get rid of the 2nd bar somewhere in the settings.
Try also installing Go launcher and see if you can see the status bar there.
i am following this ROM since day one and i did not have this problem.

Firmware Upgrade (I9505XXUEMJ5 to I9505XXUEML1)

Hello XDA,
I would like to share my experience with you guys.
Ok first there was a notification saying that a software update was available for installation (I9505XXUEML1). After the software update was successfully installed, I went to Status and saw that the device status showed "Custom" instead. I don't know why, but after rebooting again, the device status reverted to "Official". Oh, and I was half-thinking that the change in device status was due to the sudden change is ROM version.
Anyone else has experienced this? If so, please reply below and share your experiences. Thanks.

[LG][VS870]Two questions: GPS icon, custom recovery

Hi all, newb to this forum, seasoned Android user here.
I couldn't find a device specific subforum for my phone, so I followed the link from the sticky posted by a moderator.
I have two questions regarding my device. First off, I've already rooted it successfully via RCT Nerfer and then Framaroot. Latest SuperSU installed.
Running Android v4.1.2, Jellybean, stock ROM w/ Xposed and GravityBox.
First question. How do I hide the GPS icon displayed next to the network icon? It's not the blinking GPS blip that's displayed on the left side of the status bar when GPS information is being transmitted. I mean the icon that is constantly displayed when GPS is enabled, located to the right of the staus bar, grouped with the network and battery icons. In my opinion, I would like a less cluttered status bar. Any way i can hide that icon without turning GPS function off?
Second question. Has anyone determined a permanent custom recovery solution for this phone? I tried an installer for touch enabled CWM recovery that was in the form of an APK. It was originally designed for a different, but similar LG phone, and I read somewhere that it would work for my phone. So I tried it, and upon booting into recovery, it was there. However, I wanted to make sure it was permanent. Rebooted my device again, instead of recovery, it just initiated the default factory reset. I was infuriated after having to reinstall my apps and such all over again. Since then I haven't bothered trying again because I'm tired of my phone being factory reset. I also read somewhere that it might be caused by my phone's locked bootloader, though I don't know if it's locked or not, as I haven't attempted any procedures on the bootloader.
Thank you in advance, and please don't crucify me over these questions. I am not a stranger to Android, but some things do elude me.
1st: gps issue, edit systemui.apk with 7zip, remove icons.
2nd: flash twrp as soon as you boot into custom recovery by adb or whatever suited..
Thank you, that information was helpful and quick to the point. Greatly appreciated.
Already eliminated GPS icon. Now I'll work on getting TWRP running so I can create NANDroid backups. They will come in handy in the event of some unforseen problem.

Unable To Flash Custom Rom, OrangeFox Or Anything Else

Hello,
since today I flashed definitly more than 100 times a custom rom to several Smartphones. So I know the procedure und what to note.
But now the Redmi Note 6 Pro makes me crazy since two days.
Waited 15 days to unlock bootloader, then flashed the first TWRP, Error 7, tried another TWRP for the phone from here - passwort error encryption etc. etc. I think I have seen all the possible error-messages.
I tried everything incl. back to stock rom via Xiaomi Mi flash several time an than the same from the beginning, always errors, some new like "zip-file corrupt" "can't map file". Thought about a hardware error already.
Has anybody been in the same situation? What should I try? Is there a workaround where I can check the reason for these problems?
Regards
Robert

Same problem here ? I can't solve ? plz help
Never fear, Google is here!
I had this exact same problem, but this post fixed it:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
I still haven't figured out what caused it in the first place though...
I don't think this programming-issue is the only reason for error 7. I have been trying 5 different roms, always error 7. Is it possible that there comes a wrong model-information from the phone?
Another problem is the passwort for decrypting in TWRP. In some threads is said, this password is the screen protecting password. I tried this - nothing - I changed it - nothing, allways wrong password.
This phone makes me crazy.... All the things working allways and xtimes without any problems - here not.
Same Problem
Had the same problem turned out that you need to flash pie firmware first befor flashing any pie-roms.

This was the solution
