Samsung Tablet SM-T517 Problem - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone, I have a samsung tablet belonging to my company and this tablet is blocked with the Mobile Device Management software. Now he's just trying to open it in safe mode, but he keeps resetting because he can't turn it on. I need to run this machine and I'm not sure exactly what can be done. I tried root or something with Odin, it didn't work. I tried a lot of things on the internet and realized that if this forum does it, it will. I'm waiting for your help. Thank you

[Q] S4 Help needed (Warning: Long story)

Hey guys, let me just start off by saying I have spent almost 8 hours straight today trying to figure this out and dig myself out of a hole I've created for myself, that being said, I'm going to try and be as detailed as possible so you guys know EXACTLY where I am and what I've tried. This post looks long but that's because it is. It's pretty much my entire day's worth of trouble typed out. So just bare with me and see if you guys can help me out here!
I have a T-Mobile Galaxy S4 model: SGH-M919 it has Android 4.4.2. Now on to the problem: I've had this phone for almost a year now and a few months ago I rooted it. Did a simple Youtube tutorial and used Odin to do the work and everything worked out fine. A couple months down the road (yesterday), after using the phone like a teenager, downloading apps and cluttering it up it started to slow down and not run some apps. After thinking about it I decided to factory reset it. All of my contacts, photos, and videos were backed up on Google so I thought "why not?" Well, this is where $#!% hit the fan.. being rooted then factory reset, right before the phone came online it had me answer two questions about the root. Something to the effect of "Do you want to keep root? (This option is not reversible)" I thought since I wasn't using the features I originally rooted the phone for I figured nah just get rid of the root. So the phone did its T-Mobile boot up and started the Initial setup.
Everything up to to this point was fine until I wanted to log in to my Google account during the setup. Please understand that where I am I have full 4G LTE coverage and have access to a pretty fast and sturdy wifi connection. Well, when it came to the google sign in I entered my email and password and it came up with a message reading "Can't Sign in - Can't establish a reliable connection to the server" (believe me i wish that was the only issue) so after reading that, I thought I'd try with my wifi.. nope. Same thing. Since neither my 4g or wifi worked I thought it was Google's servers so I tried again this morning, same thing. (keep in mind at this point i think my phone isn't rooted anymore.) I call the t mobile store and they give me a technical support number, so I call it and I tell them i cant sign into Google. The gentleman told me he cant do anything because he can tell my phones been rooted. Only thing he suggests is to contact Google, well, the customer care number just tells you go to google.com/support and there's nothing there about my problem.
This is where I dig my hole even deeper. I tried another factory reset and up in the top left corner i still see that root text. Even the rooted android symbol pops up before the Samsung logo or t mobile. Since I saw that I thought "ohh it just didn't get unrooted all the way." I look up ways to completely remove a root and a lot of them require plugin your phone into the computer and using Odin to flash a stock firmware on to the device. I went to plug my phone into the usb port but my computer didn't recognize the usb device, having experienced this a long time ago I searched around for the latest Samsung usb drivers and I installed those. Device still isn't recognized. Let me just note before people tell me to use MTP mode or Developer tools> usb debugging or connection mode.. The only thing that happens when plugging my phone via usb is the phone starts charging and my computer makes the trumpet noise like something is plugged in. Other than that, there is NO notification of it being plugged in. The reason i stress this is because I called Samsung technical support at this point and the guy (not gentleman) treated me like a 5 year old and ran me through all of these options after i told him I already did everything he was suggesting, including downloading Samsung Kies 3 and having it install the drivers. It does not pick up the device either.. at this point I looked up ways to remove the root without the computer. I found out you can just go into the root app "SU" or something and theres a remove root option. I jumped on that opportunity and had it removed. I restarted the phone and all the problems still persist, it even still has the root text on the top left when you factory reset it again. However now, even if you factory reset and select the option "keep root," thinking it would bring back the"SU" app it does NOT.
So lets recap. I have a phone that thinks its rooted and even appears rooted to t mobile but doesn't have any of the root apps or privileges or capabilities to fix my Google log in issue (like the host file in filemanager). And I can't re-root to get that app back because none of my 3 usb ports, 3 different usb cables (one being the cord that came with the phone), or any of the ports/cables on someone else's computer will recognize the darn thing to work on that way! I have all these issues that are supposed to fix each other but I can't do any fixing because they cancel each other out too... I'm at a dead end.
In case this isn't the right forum/website/thread/post area etc.. I have this whole message saved in Microsoft Word document so I can repost it anywhere you guys might suggest better results. Any help/advice will be much appreciated.

Need help fixing friend's Android tablet

My buddy dropped off his android tablet because it had a bunch of malware, one of which was a porn app. I've factory reset the device both through the settings menu and using the power and volume buttons but as soon as the device connects to the internet the apps come back, this is before we even input a google account into the play store. I don't have a lot of experience with android but I am tech savvy so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
I'm guessing the malware has replaced some default system apps and maybe I need to reflash the device but I'm not sure how to go about doing that or which ROM is the correct one for this tablet. I ran malwarebytes and it found a lot of problems but when I try to clean them off it keeps saying the uninstall fails. The tablet is a cheap Digiland DL801W. Thanks in advance!
Fixed!
So you tried to factory reset in recovery mode, but nothing fixed this problem, So you need to Flash Your tablet through Odin, of course depending what tablet your friend have if its a Samsung tablet you should use Odin, if you need help in flashing your tablet feel free to contact me on whatsapp: +96170211236

Bypass Factory Reset Protection on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 without using Sidesync? HELP

Okay so,
I've been up and down the internet for the last few days reading a plethora of articles and how-to's about how I can bypass the Factory Reset Protection on my Samsung tablet. Out of all of those articles, I have struggled to find one that doesn't rely on the use of Samsungs "SideSync" screen mirroring program. I run Windows 10 on both my laptop and desktop computer. For some reason it seems to have trouble starting the Sidesync program... This could have something to do with the FRP lock being activated on the device, because I dont have the Sidesync app on my tablet, and I can't very well install it when I can't get into the tablet to begin with, so my computer's version of sidesync might not register the device as being there..? idk
I do know that my computer recognizes my Tablet as a Samsung Tab S2 and any other file transfers from my hard drive to tablet have been operating normally.. So I have all the correct drivers for my device, and for Sidesync (I re-installed just to be sure) but when I plug my tablet it, I fail to get the "Open With" pop-up that the articles mentioned that my tablet should get, and Sidesync never gets past the initial screen... I press start, and it shows the directions on how to use it, with the word "Starting..." and a time wheel, like its loading up.. but never does. It stays like that until I close it... its not frozen. It just never recogizes that a device has been connected.
Can anyone help me with this dilemma? I need a way to bypass the FRP "Google Account Verification" lock that doesn't rely on Sidesync, or someone that knows what I'm doing wrong to make Sidesync behave like this. I've been able to flash different versions of Android onto the Tablet, and have even downgraded my version a couple times to see if it made a difference.. annnd it didnt.
So I'm stumped... if anyone knows what I can do It'd be greatly appreciated!

Fully managed Knox phone

Hi there!
I recently got a Samsung A8 (2018) from the company I work for, and it is fully managed by Knox Cloud, they can control the whole device if they want to.
The problem is, they have disabled some useful stuff like NFC and Secure Folder, and honestly it's a pain to use with all the limitations.
They don't allow dev settings to be activated, so of course I have no USB debugging. That means no ODIN or ADB if I recall correctly.
Also if you factory reset the phone, Knox FRP takes control as soon as you power it on, so it reinstalls all the management services.
It's a nightmare and I've been trying to work around it to free the device but no luck so far. Idk if I could flash sth via recovery, but I don't know if that will work either.
If anyone could help me get rid of the loop I'm stuck in that'd be great!!
Thank you all!

[SM-T397U/Soti MobiControl/Help] My Dad just found this cool brick essentially...

My dad is a home improvement guy and apparently people left some things behind and the new owner didn't want them. One of these things ended up being a Tablet, now I'm understanding why it was given up. It starts and immediately loads into Soti MobiControl and I can essentially do nothing with it. I've both Factory Wiped Via recovery mode and tried to remove the sim and booting into safe mode which also didn't work.
The next step was to even see if I could do anything Odin related to it and I can't enter download mode I'm assuming since it appears to be an old work device, they likely didn't have USB Debugging on. So that wouldn't work for me either.
TL;DR
I have this tablet that has an app on it that doesn't allow me to do anything with it and so far what I've tried has done nothing. Does anyone have any clue ?
Hi!
Since I don't know what this app do or what it can restrict, I'll be having some issues but I'll try my best to help you.
First, Can you boot into system and go to settings? If yes, then go to About device --> Build Number --> Tap 7 Times.
^_^
After searching about Soti Mobicontrol, I found this:
Uninstaller
Please try this and reply.
